Hi all, appreciate the interest and rationale for wanting to be able to combine and hide line items on an invoice for sending to your clients, while having your usual detail tracked on the invoice in Xero.
While this may be a function we look to explore in the long-term we want to be upfront that this is not something we’ll be developing in the near term. Our team is focussed on other key priorities right now such as improvements to invoice branding and getting paid.
If you want to hide all line item details, you can create a custom invoice theme where you can decide which data fields appear on the PDF invoice. For example to print only the Subtotal and no line items.
However we’re aware that in other cases you want to be able to show some line items and not others. We’ll leave this idea open…

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your support for part disposal of Fixed Assets in Xero. Being transparent - current work for the team requires focus on upgrades to Fixed Asset technology.
However, we’re thinking of what comes next and partial disposal of an asset figures strongly in this. Please continue to detail your particular use cases here in Product Ideas.
As we continue forming the future of Fixed Assets in Xero insights from Product Ideas here will feed into the team's plans.Elise McKinnon supported this idea · -

Hi Renea, I notice you added your idea here to Practice Manager, can I just confirm - Are you looking to search Client contacts within Practice Manager, or Contacts within an individual organisation? Thanks

Hi everyone, we thank you for your support on the idea here. We understand the needs of being able to attach documents when sending Purchase Orders, however we want to be transparent that this is not planned work at this time.
To begin, purchase orders need an update and this will be a focus for the team before enhancements like this can be considered. We will keep you updated of any related changes, here.

There are already ways you can automate this process, Elise. Is there a specific reason you'd like to do this through the Xero mobile app?
I'd recommend looking into connecting Hubdoc to your Xero org, or emailing bills to your organisation.

Hi everyone, appreciate there are more regions users would like to see us adopt solutions for and we'll keep you in the know of any progress, here.
In the UK, we have some updates with the bill payments method with Crezco. You now have more control of your cashflows with the ability to schedule bills to be paid at a future date using direct bank transfer. This'll help avoid potential bank charges for same day transactions, and missing due dates. Along with this you'll also be able to stay up to date with your payments with real-time payment status in Xero. Meaning you don't have to log into your bank to check the status of each bill payment. With an overview of all payments made using direct bank transfer, you have an accurate record of which suppliers have been paid, and when.

Thanks for your reply!
It was specifically for clients that are always on the go ie. tradies, hairdressers, labourers, etc. They don't necessarily have time to scan/photograph and email a receipt through to Xero for us to then approve & match the bill.
Does HubDoc allow for the photo just to be uploaded into bill section same as emailing?
