I just want to get a report of what subscriptions we are paying for at a minutes notice (not just the CSV on an invoice).

Under the Subscriptions tab, the only thing available is a list of files we have access to.

    - I can’t filter by subscriber
    - I can’t sort by anything
    - I can’t export or print
    - And I can’t see the whole list without clicking ‘Show More” 20+ times

Additionally if I go to The billing account, it only shows a statement of the gross amount.and no list of entities being billed

An invoice only shows what was billed for a month, not anything that is linked to us as a subscriber whether active or cancelled. Its also not easy to access as I have to
    - go into the statement,
    - go into a particular monthly invoice and then
    - export a CSV.

I can’t see any history or how long a client has been being billed for which is really hard if we are trying to on-bill the subscription.

I feel this is really deliberate so that its hard to see what you are paying for at any one time. Which isn’t really fair.

The BAS transaction list should be on the first report page and also should be Summarisable instead of having to scroll through what is the equivalent of 120 + pages per quarter.

    Hear me out;
Does anyone else LOATHE the way GST/Activity statement REPORTS are now? Being forced to use the Activity Statement report and Unfiled Amounts etc. is so infuriating.

I understand the premise of doing it all through Xero so that there is no errors, and if there is a discrepancy it is washed into the next BAS with Unfiled Amounts. I get that. And think is great for day-to-day.

BUT, as an accountant, at year end especially, I just want to be able to, at any point, CREATE A BASIC GST REPORT, that is summarisable/collapsible, so that I can compare what was lodged, to what the report would say now. (Irrespective of Xero taking unfiled amount into hand and dealing with it).

It shouldn't have to manipulate another report to 'get the information I want'.

I shouldn’t have to get an annual or quarterly report (namely BAS Transaction List) and scroll through endless transactions

I also don't want to have to delete LODGED/FILED BAS report in Xero (especially if the client does their own BAS's), just to access what the BAS would look like if completed now.
