Hi everyone, thanks for voting and your detailed comments on this idea.
We understand the challenge of having to navigate away from the approval screen to find an employee's leave balance. Providing this information directly within the approval screen could streamline the process and reduce the risk of approving leave that results in a negative balance.
The good news is that our product team's reviewed this idea and recognise the value it would deliver. It's something they’d like to work on in the long term. It's not on the roadmap just yet but we'll update you when we're able to bring more focus to this idea.

We have also had complaints from clients that they are getting emails/invoices in the middle of the night - especially on new years eve!

We have a client that would like to send an invoice out the week before its due but with a different invoice date rather than the date it is being sent.
For instance an invoice dated for the 1st Feb is sent out on the 20th Jan, so it is then also paid by the 1st Feb.

I don't understand why an update would be done and not include these important basic features. Why not update once everything has been completed/updated correctly?!! Extremely frustrating!

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this idea. We appreciate you sharing how important granular leave reporting is for your payroll processing. We understand many of you are tracking Leave outside of Xero as a workaround.
We hear you’re also interested in a Leave Balances Report. UK Payroll - Leave Balances Report is a separate Product Idea, so we’d love to see your votes and ideas on this topic too.
Whilst a Leave Transactions Report is not currently set in our roadmap, our product team is reviewing the viability of developing more comprehensive reporting solutions.
We are changing the status of this idea to Accepted. Keep an eye on this idea and we’ll update you when there are further developments.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on having timesheet reporting in UK payroll.
Our product team are actively working on improving UK reporting in general, but timesheet reports aren’t currently on the roadmap.
We'll update this to Not in Pipeline, however we'll update you here if anything changes in this space.

Absolutely agree to emailing the payslips on the actual payment date rather than on or after posting the pay run.
Most of the comments on the feature request thread asked for a PAYMENT DATE AUTOMATION not pay run posting.
What if we posted on the 10th of the month but the payment date wasn't until the 30th - why would you send the payslip so early???!! Plus there is a chance that it may get changed between then and the pay date.
Please make it make sense!
