Hey Louis, thanks for bringing this up! Having client info in both the Partner Hub and your practice contacts gives you flexibility, but it would be even smoother if updates could flow automatically between them.
Right now, exporting your client list from the Hub and importing it into your practice contacts is a simple way to refresh records in bulk. It’s a handy way to keep everything up to date.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so the product team can see how helpful a more connected, unified experience would be for Partners.

Hi Sue, we appreciate you suggesting that the Tax/IRD Number field remain visible, even when blank - it’s a helpful idea for tracking data completeness and maintaining consistency in client records.
We’ve moved your idea to Gaining Support, so it’s now open for the community to vote and comment. Our product team is keeping a close eye on feedback coming through related to Xero Partner Hub.
We’d love to hear more from you and other community members about how this change could improve your workflow or benefit your practice. Sharing specific examples will help the team understand the value of this idea.
Thanks for getting the conversation started!

Hi there, thanks for the suggestion. We understand the need to quickly distinguish between other client type and a trustee.
Right now, this is often managed with naming conventions or custom fields, which aren’t always easy to see at a glance.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and show our product team how a dedicated “Trustee” indicator could improve the Client List experience.

Hi Christine, thanks for sharing this suggestion. When working through longer client pages with multiple tabs and custom fields, it can be easy to lose sight of which client record you’re in. A sticky header that keeps the client name (and possibly reference code) visible would help keep that context in view and reduce the need to scroll back up to confirm details.
At the moment, you need to return to the top of the page to re-check the client information once you’ve moved further down the record.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share it with our product teams for consideration.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion.
We understand why having a dedicated place to record previous client names or aliases would be useful, especially for businesses and practices that manage long-term client relationships where details can change over time.
This idea is suggesting the ability to store historical names directly on a client record, so teams can keep a clearer record of changes without losing access to previous details.
We’ll continue to track feedback and interest from the community around this. Please keep sharing your workflows and use cases here, as this helps us understand where improvements could provide the most value.

Hi James, thanks for sharing your idea, and letting us know the changes that matter most for you.
We hear you that splitting these into separate, sortable fields would make it simpler to view upcoming deadlines and group milestones in a way that supports day-to-day planning.
This is now in Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product team how more structured milestone data could improve timeline and workload management.

Hi Cormac, thanks for bringing this idea to the community.
We can see how a centralised view of client notes could make it easier to keep track of updates across your client base and help teams stay aligned without needing to open individual client records.
I've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue monitoring interest and gathering feedback on how this could support your practice workflows.

Thanks for starting this conversation. When a cost is allocated to the wrong job, having to delete and recreate it can be time-consuming and can add extra steps to keep job costs accurate. An option to edit or move a cost between jobs would make this much simpler and reduce rework.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share it with our product teams for consideration.

Hi Cherry, thanks for sharing this idea! It’s clear that not having “My Jobs” on the homepage adds extra clicks and makes it harder to keep on top of daily priorities.
As a workaround in the meantime, the Jobs table on the homepage does have filters — you can filter the jobs by Assigned to me as staff, Assigned to me as manager, or Assigned to me as partner to help focus on the tasks relevant to you. Still, we know a dedicated homepage widget would make this even smoother.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and see how many in the community would benefit. Your votes and comments help our product team understand the impact, so please keep them coming!

It’s clear that manually checking each client organisation to see if a bank feed has dropped out can take up valuable time.
We hear you that a central view or alert on the Practice Homepage would make it easier to spot connection issues across your client base and address them before they affect month-end work.
As mentioned, surfacing this in a homepage widget would reduce the need to check individual files and make it easier to stay on top of feed status.
I’ve added this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product team how this at-a-glance visibility could improve day-to-day practice management.

Appreciate the feedback, Arnie. Our product team are staying close to the feedback we're receiving about updates in Jobs. It'd be good to see if there are others in the new experience that feel the same way.
I'll let you know if we have any further enhancements around the layout for you here.

Hi Sue, thanks for sharing this! A merge feature for jobs could make managing duplicates much easier and help keep your records accurate and up to date. It would ensure that notes, tasks, and time entries all stay in one place, giving you a clearer view of each job’s progress and profitability.
We’ve moved this along to Gaining Support so the product team can see how useful a merge tool could be.

Hi Jocelyn, appreciate the suggestion. Relying on a single Master Admin can create a bottleneck and adds risk if that person is unavailable. We understand that allowing multiple Master Admins would help share responsibility and improve continuity across the practice.
At the moment, Master Admin role is limited to one user. However, you can look into the Administrator role for the meantime. I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share it with our product teams.

Hi team, really good to hear your feedback on what could improve your experience with new Tax Manager which is currently in beta.
We're listening to the feedback we're receiving about this from our community and while not in the works just yet, the ability to save custom filters is a feature we plan to develop.
You can get more of a view of what's to come in Tax Manager through Xero Central, and I'll keep you updated here once this idea progresses with the team.

Appreciate you letting us know how filters on the Jobs widget in the new XPH homepage would be useful.
We're keen to get a better idea of the number of users that'd also find this helpful. Feel free to share the link to this idea with other colleagues that'd find this useful too!
We'll share if there are any updates for you here.

Hi team, thanks for continuing to engage, and share the importance of easily viewing tax filing errors from the Xero Partner Homepage with us here.
Right now, for AU Practices there are a few tax widgets available that those with View tax return permissions will be able to view.
Both Activity Statements, and Income tax returns widgets will show returns with lodgment errors.
We're also in the process of developing tax widgets for NZ practices and I'll be sure to update you with more on this once it's ready 😊

Hi team, thanks for sharing this! We can see how resizable widgets would make the Partner Hub feel more tailored to each practice. Some teams might want a big view of their Alerts, while others prefer a compact Time Summary—being able to adjust widget sizes would make the dashboard feel more like your own workspace.
Currently, fixed-size widgets can make key information feel crowded or require extra clicks to see more rows of data.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so our product teams can understand the demand for a more flexible dashboard. We’d love to hear from you—which widgets would you most like to expand or resize?
