  1. Ability to assign appointments from outlook into projects as time entries. Narrative of work completed could be put in the appointment and then assigned to the project. The colour of the appointment in outlook would change colour to show its been assigned.

  4. Add the tick box in Sales Overview > Invoices > ALL tab

    We want to bulk upload all invoices for the week in 1 file regardless of the status (paid/unpaid). We couldn't at the moment because of the absence of the tick boxes in the ALL tab.

    Rounding back on your idea here, Abigail - It'd be good to get more understanding of your business flow and why you'd be wanting to create invoices of another status. For example is here a specific reason you'd like to import invoices that have already been paid for? Could these potentially be entered as Receive monies or is there a reason they need to be raised in Xero once they've already been paid? TIA

  6. Enable the Payable Invoice Detail report to total the invoices for each contact. At present the report totals the GST component of each contact's invoices, which I find not at all useful. It would be possible to export the report to Excel, and calculate the totals in that format, but this would be time-consuming.

    I use the payable invoice detail report to get approvals for payment. It would be useful for the person doing the approving to see how much each contact's invoices add up to.

    Hi team, returning to the idea here I wanted to check if this is still an issue? With the Payable Invoice Details report you'll find you can 'Group by' Contact and there are options to include Balance, Gross Tax and Net columns within the report so you can get a full break down and totals for each. 

  7. Send Statements, Outstanding, Select Date.

    We want to send statements to our clients for invoices that are 30 days overdue - so if I put in the 28th February 2022, Xero brings up a list of all overdue invoices as at that date however some of those invoices have been paid so if I send out the 'Activity Statement' its not a true record of the invoices outstanding.

    I would like Xero to change this so that you can either click on each invoice you want to send out ie the ones that haven't been paid or Xero only shows…

  8. Ability to push files that’s uploaded in Xero Files to cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, and Sharepoint).

    Purpose: Users can easily store/keep their files that they’ve uploaded in Xero into their own cloud storage. Especially when they have many documents that exceed the limit of Xero Files.

    Hi team, though we appreciate the use you'd find in being able to connect or send Xero Files to your cloud storage we want to be open that this isn't in our short terms plans.

    We're keen to keep getting an understanding of interest in the capability, and will share if there are any updates or progress of this, here.

  9. It would be great if Xero could send an alert if a leave request has been submitted for a payroll period that has already been processed?
    This would apply in the situation that payroll was run early and then an employee took a day off in the period that was included in the payrun.

  10. Ability to select your own landing page after login.

    Am I the only person who finds it annoying to have to navigate from the dashboard, to business, invoices, then to the awaiting payments tab every time I log in?

    I would love to able to choose which page I see when logging in.

  11. The contacts screen has the financial details Bank account i.e Bank account name, BSB code e.g. 123-456, Bank account number e.g. 1234567890.

    However these are not fields on the invoice.

  13. For clients who use the iPad app for quotes, it is important that the quote be able to be printed. This would be for Xero clients whose customers visit a place of business ("the shop") to discuss an order; the Xero client should be able to print the quote for delivery to the client.
    For one of my potential clients, this procedure applies to 95% of the quote opportunities.

    As of this writing, it is not possible to Share the quote (only email) and if converted to a draft invoice, tapping the Share option automatically converts it to Approved without…

  15. Hi
    I would like to be able to process a Payroll Transaction Summary Listing report that shows the individual amounts per pay item for every employee for the financial year in one report. Currently, I need to select the individual employee to get this information, but this is not practical when a business has 10 or more employees as it takes too much time to select each employee individually to get this information.

Prior to the upgrade, if you were a labour hire firm and had contractors who were not a company but used their TFN, you could select the box to allow additional tax deductions for HELP / HECS debts. With the new Phase 2 STP, Xero have confirmed that if you have labour hire using TFN's and they have a hecs debt you cannot check the box and will need to manually calculate the hecs amount to deduct each payrun.   18. One of my clients has hundreds of employees and at present when processing an unscheduled pay run, I have to keep clicking through the pages to find the employee. It would be so much quicker to be able to search for an employee within the Draft Payrun to then select to add.
