Bank Statements - Support OFX importing with multiple statements per file
I am working with Société Générale (France) and we are not so lucky to have the automated bank transactions functionality. Our bank is combining both main bank movement and credit card movements in their OFX format.
This currently gives me the following error message in Xero : The file selected contains more than one statement which is not currently supported. Download a file with transactions for one account and try again.
My error message finds its cause in the fact that I have an export from the bank that contains both <bankmsgrsv1> and <creditcardmsgrsv1> transactions.

VAT - Show Unreconciled Statement Lines for a VAT period when completing a VAT return
A note of outstanding, unreconciled statement lines before completing a VAT return.
Currently you click review and can see the VAT return; however, it would be useful to have a box that would flag if there any unreconciled transactions within the VAT period.
This would help to ensure no transactions are missed when completing a VAT return.

Contacts | Quotes - View declined quotes for a contact from their record
Declined quotes to appear in the activity list of a contact - At the moment they do not and the only way to determine if a quote was raised previously is through a search through quotes.
Since it is an activity linked to a contact, fruitful or not, this should be linked to activity list of the contact.

AU Payroll - Filter superannuation payments screen
Multi select or more filter options when processing superannuation payments. This would expediate processing super payments for large employers. For example, you should be able to filter the super payment to show only last month super and select all and submit for payment. At the moment, if we want to process the previous month's super, we have to manually unselect each employee super that relates to the next month or quarter that we aren't required to pay yet.

Purchase Order - Report that shows invoice against PO and remaining balance
A report that shows all purchase orders with invoices against them and balance remaining.
55 votesHi community, we want to update you that we've recently released the ability to include Purchase Orders (PO) through Payable Invoice Summary report. If you expand the side panel on the left of the report and select the 'Outstanding purchase orders summary' report, this will automatically display all Bills, Credit Notes and Purchase Orders and group them by Contact for you. You can use the total row of each contact to infer the remaining balance.
We're aware this may not directly show the information that you’re asking for here, so we'll keep the status idea as it is and we’ll let you know if there’s any further updates.

NZ Payroll: Notes on Time Sheets
We have just moved onto Xero Payroll and it would be very helpful if employees could add notes to their timesheet each day.

This change was specific to users of the Australian payroll.
Apologies, and we'll shift this idea back to 'Submitted' so we can continue to track and share if there are developments in New Zealand Payroll.
However, at the moment this is not in the team's plans.

Profit and Loss - Filter report, option to change filter criteria after column choice selected.
You have marked the idea at "Profit & Loss - Filter Tracking Report by second tracking category" (https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/45050152-profit-loss-filter-tracking-report-by-second-t) as delivered and closed the comments, but unfortunately it's a terrible implementation, and you could really benefit by hearing comments from your customers on it.
It allows the user to filter the data, and then to choose the columns it will appear in by selecting tracking category items for columns. However if I want to change the filter criteria I have to undo the column choices, then edit the filter criteria, and then recreate the columns.
It still does not…

Invoices - Default due date set regardless of an integration upload
Default invoice due date / contact due date can be set when integrated with other products that fed the invoices in. Currently it is overriden with due date from integrated system
Setting due date so we can clearly see what is overdue is an excellent feature and would help significantly with accounts

Xero Expenses - Option to Approve and View Next
Currently when you hit approve on an expense it takes you back to the To Review list. This trip back to where I started adds unnecessary clicks and load times. It would be faster if there was an Approve and View Next option, the same way there is when working through draft bills.

Dashboard - Add a quarter to date (QTD) column to the Accounts Watchlist
Please can a QTD column be added on the Accounts Watchlist rather than This Month? A quarterly client is requesting this as they view the Dashboard regularly and this would be extremely useful to them.

New invoicing - Option to edit Account name
I noticed the new invoicing option seems to be not user-friendly as you can't edit the account name there is no option, and the classic is much better. I wonder why that is?
3 votesHi team, returning to the idea here and rounding back on my last update. Currently it is not possible to edit the Account name or Code of an account from within new invoicing. You'll need to do this by going to the Chart of Accounts screen and updating this, there.
This is not a feature within classic or new invoicing. However, we'll leave the idea open here so we can get continued interest and consider as a possible future enhancement within new invoicing.

Projects - Add date of the expense onto the tasks & expenses screen
In the Projects | Tasks & expneses, can we please add in the date??
I understand that the date can be accessed by opening the bill or viewing the bill, but this is very tedious AND if you open the bill, you can't easily find your way back to the particular bill you were looking at (the screen jumps back to the top).
It is extremely difficult to navigate these expenses when there are hundreds of them attached to the project, so having the bill date here would be SO much more convenient.3 votes -
Project Reporting - Detailed Invoice Lines
To show the invoice line detail in project reporting rather than a consolidated invoice line.
You have to allocate each individual line on the invoice to a project but on the project report it consolidates to just one line which doesn't make sense when you put the level of detail at the invoice that it doesn't pull through that detail to the project reporting.

Invoices | Statements: Highlight overdue in PDF
Statements to highlight overdue invoices. When running a statement there may be multiple invoices listed, it would be handy if the ones that were overdue could highlighted as such. currently we are editing every pdf to let customers know which invoices are overdue and this would be a huge time saver.
