  1. After a transaction is matched with the online download status should be matched or cleared. Once the reconciliation report is completed the status should change to reconciled. A transactions status should not be deemed reconciled until account is actually Reconciled with the bank statement.

  3. Report dates
    On financial reports. Instead of last financial year of this financial year wouldn’t it be better to have the years as the selection ie 2024/25 2023/24 2022/23. it will be much quicker to select the year especially is going back further than the current year.

    I know it's a little different to what you're directly asking here, but perhaps comparison columns and saving as custom could help where you can run the report for multiple date ranges at once and view the comparison across each?

  4. Have a Report that shows all Quotes that have been accepted, but not invoiced. That shows any part invoices that have been raised. We frequently invoice a % upfront, % mid project and then % at the end.

  5. The Reconcile section split allows you to add, subtract, multiply and divide in the amount cell. The Cash Coding split section does not. I would like the Cash Coding split section to allow for the calculations so that you don't have to hop back and forth between Reconcile and Cash Coding in order to get all of the transactions in. This would save a lot of time for manual entry items.

  6. I'd like to suggest a feature enhancement for the invoicing system. When adding new line items from our saved parts catalog, it would be incredibly useful if we could update the price of a product directly on the invoice, and have that new price saved permanently to the in our inventory product code. This way, we can ensure that our part prices are always up-to-date without the need to manually update them in multiple places. This would be really helpful for business that have a lot of different part numbers or product codes from multiple suppliers.

    Out of interest would you expect existing invoices where you have used this item to be updated with the price as well or only subsequent invoices?

  7. I would like to add information such as the date their bank details were changed on Xero and whether independent verification of the new details has been done (and how). This is becoming more important as the number of phishing invoices increases. If possible, the capability to attach a relevant document (eg notification from supplier of bank change) but if not possible, then a decent character length text field (as a comparison, the current Reference field is way too short and doesn't allow puctuation).

  9. Xero advertises 24/7 support. My idea is that this representation is amended to reflect what support is actually offered.

    Xero state that you can "Contact Xero for free and unlimited 24/7 customer support". To most people, the meaning of this representation is that you can communicate in real time with someone from Xero who can help. This is not the case.

    The advertising claim should reflect that, while you can request support at any time, you will only get that support when Xero staff have the time to provide it, based on their triage system.

The new Grow subscription only allowing for one employee is really tough for accountants operating in the micro-business space, as many of the small businesses that I have been working to get onto Xero are either married couples or two business partners who need exactly two payroll employees, with no intention to grow beyond that number.

    Having to jump from Grow to Comprehensive just to add a payroll user is prohibitive for a lot of my clients, and knowing that this is the case is stopping me from recommending Xero as a product where it would have been a no-brainer…

  11. The week ending period on the Timesheet Detail Report is Monday to Friday and cannot be adjusted.

    Oaur pay week runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. We have to duplicate data on an Excel spreadsheet for reporting for management.

    It would be very useful if the week ending period could be edited so we could use the reporting in Xero and save time processing payroll.

  12. Since Xero has little to no features to help manage data privacy, please can we have the ability to show date added on Contacts. Even better, date of last activity - and show them on reports?

    If this isn't possible, custom fields would do as notes do not show up on the export.

  13. I think it would be really beneficial to be able to scroll through invoices whilst in a contact by using forward and back arrows to quickly see the history of all on the invoices entered. It would also be easy to find the most similar invoice that you want to copy.

  14. My EOM reports include PL, BS, Receivables AND payroll. Management report doesn't allow payroll reports to be added. Please allow this to be added to minimise time generating additional reports.

When adding products from suppliers, it would be great to be able to add multiple suppliers details on one product (to save having the same item listed multiple times with each individual suppliers codes/costs etc). For example Supplier 1: Coca Cola Cans, Code: 1234 Cost: £12.99, Supplier 2: Coca Cola Cans, Code: A1244, Cost: £19.50. Rather have Coca Cola saved twice had sections within that product for multiple suppliers.

  16. Hi, you already have a 'bill due date' which you can set up to default to various options but you have to enter a number between 1-31 and we have suppliers who allow us to pay 60 days end of month. Could this be amended?

  19. Have numerous SAGE systems not now in use but it would be useful to get into Xero but do not need a monthly subscription although it would be nice for a one off fee to get a xero (READ ONLY)
    set of SAGE DATA in case any historical info required.
