Expense claims - Recurring expenses
Ability to create recurring expenses in expense claims area in Xero.
Purpose: To save users’ time from entering their regular expenses in Xero manually.
45 votesThanks for the detail and support shared for this idea, everyone. We understand how recurring expenses would enable efficiencies when you frequently have expenses of a similar nature (like subscriptions). Currently there is work needed within expenses to enable us to develop future capabilities. We're keen to continue tracking the interest in this through the idea here, and as soon as we're in a better position to be able to dive deeper this work we'll share any progress with you all here. So, while not in the plans at present, please keep sharing detail of your needs and supporting in the idea here.

Purpose: Save time and create efficiencies.
42 votesHey everyone, thanks for sharing your thoughts here - love the drive for efficiency! In case you weren't already aware, Xero does have a number of shortcuts available. Check out our article about tips and shortcuts for the full list.
Meantime, there are a number of other more specific ideas for keyboard shortcuts which you might like to vote too.

Organisation settings - Remember my settings preferences in Xero
Ability to save and remember users’ settings in Xero (e.g. view of chart of accounts).
Purpose: Each users’ in Xero org have their own settings preference, and by enabling this feature, it’ll improve their workflow.
27 votesHi team, while not relevant to all areas of Xero atm. As we continue to develop the product you'll find there are many places where teams are beginning to add improvements to behaviours such as Xero remembering your last selection.
For example, in the Products and Services page(Inventory items) if you make a change to the number of items shown, and navigate away from the page when you return this selection is remembered. A couple of exceptions to this is when you change browsers, or if you're using incognito mode or a private browsing page.
We appreciate there are more places across Xero you'd like to see these behaviours and we'll keep you updated of more improvements here.

Dashboard - Watchlist for Tracking categories
Ability to see tracking watchlist on the Xero dashboard.
Purpose: To save users’ time from clicking and going through multiple pages.
13 votesHi everyone, unfortunately while we started work that would impact this feature, this has had to be put on the back burner for now with a few other pieces of work taking priority. We'll shift back to submitted for now and be sure to update you of any movement surrounding the idea, here.
