  1. The 3 Project categories at present are Draft/In Progress/Closed. I would like another category called "Invoiced" so I could see which projects have been invoiced and are waiting for payment before we close them.

  2. It would be good to be able to search the expenses to make sure that duplicated expenses are not submitted. Also it is really difficult to see what the expense was for and what the supplier was. Also it is really difficult to change any i8nformation on an expense as soon as it is marked as paid.

  4. In files, previewing a PDF that has been uploaded or sent to files will not work for many chrome users.

    Upon opening in files, it gives the error "This file can't be previewed with this browser."

    This occurs if the user has google chrome, and has google chrome set to "Download PDFs" instead of "Open PDFs in Chrome."

  5. Allow the contact's account number <ContactAccountNumber> to be included on Branding Theme invoices (and other documents).

    The <ContactAccountNumber> is allowed to be included on system default invoices.

Xero Bank Feed connections: Would it be possible to connect payment services for Stripe to more than two bank accounts, I can currently setup GBP (primary currency) and USD but can't setup for EUR or CAD. Our Stripe payments are collected in the currency and paid out to our bank accounts in these currencies but the payment service settings will only allow these two currencies to connect to the GBP payments which mean a manual process to transfer between accounts in Xero and ''mark as reconciled'' .   8. Add a total invoice amount at the top of the screen like the old invoicing format. It's a pain to open an invoice and have to scroll all the way to the bottom to find the total amount of the invoice, especially if it's a long invoice. The old invoice format shows the invoice total at the top of screen

  9. In my business it is common for orders to be eg 10 bags of 25kg bags with prices $xx/kg. As far as I can see there is no field for pack size, ie 25 in the example. Also a product coming in range of sizes is easier with 1 description and range of pack sizes. Then would want functionality to have total line quantity and total line cost calculated from the 3 parameters.

  10. Unallocated leave. The only leave an employee should be allowed to create is leave that has been allocated to them. Unpaid leave if it has been created is automatically an option for all employees despite them not having it allocated to them. And thus the employees choose that leave which also requires no approval, which should also be a thing, why can employees automatically give themself unpaid leave without manager approval? So 2 changes above that I'd like implemented

  11. There is a new completely unnecessary and annoying column named "View" in the Bills reports. I can switch it off each time I open that report, but I would like to reset the default so it doesn't come up ever. To view a bill all I have to do is click into it, so the extra visual of the EYE is just very irritating. It isn't an issue with the Invoices.

  12. Hey Xero, there seems to be a lot of issue and complaints about new invoicing. How about giving us all a break and re-enable the old invoicing till you get thing sorted out.

    • Cant stop auto save , there is no undo button if you make a mistake.
    • Tabbing between fields is not the same.
    • Can't add expenses and leave them un-allocated to a GL, I know that the expense is @ cost price and needs to be completed. -Cant change the Customer with Billable expenses assigned without loosing the billable expenses and have to re-assign them

  13. I invoice repeating clients a few times per month. My process is to pull the past invoice - to be sure they were billed in the prior cycle, and to copy that invoice to a draft invoice so I keep all the formatting and wording in the invoice, and can adjust quantities as needed.   14. Employee tab - make the layout available for users to choose between Portrait or Landscape orientation.
    Since updates were made on 20.12.2024, the Landscape one (on this particular tab - Employees) did not fit on the screen. It looks like a tech error rather than an update...

  16. We are after a report which shows the leave accrual rates for each individual employee in bulk report. I know we can view each individual employee by clicking on their leave balance and looking at the "Hours of leave accrued annually by a full-time employee. However for businesses with a large number of employees, this is very time consuming, therefore we would like a bulk report we can run to view all employees accrual rates in the one report.

  17. Currently, when you connect your Xero login to myIR, Xero automatically files the pay run with the IRD as soon as it is posted. Unfortunately, there is no option to opt out of this automatic filing without disconnecting from myIR entirely.

    It would be much more flexible if posting and filing could be done as separate steps. While it's possible to have another user who isn't connected to myIR handle this, small businesses often rely on a single person to manage the entire payroll process.

  20. When selecting a contact name it would be nice if it displayed more of the name or if dropdown could be widened. Reason being, we have a number of clients whose names appear the same but have different regional offices and it therefore becomes trial & error as to which one to select as we cannot see the full details until after selection of the contact.
