  1. Adviser year-end account templates - it would be great if when allocating account codes to categories in the P&L/BS, they also updated in automatically in the cash flow statements and the notes 1-4.

    This would both save time and also remove the chance of human error - there is always the possibility of accidentally allocating differently.

  2. I hope Xero will soon introduce the feature for ABN exemption for non-employee contractors, as there are cases that they are ABN exempt. I'm sharing the ATO link with you for your reference, https://www.ato.gov.au/forms-and-instructions/statement-by-supplier-not-quoting-an-abn?

  3. It would be very useful to be able to search bank rules for an account code, since account codes cannot be archived/deleted if there is an associated bank rule. I eventually found the relevant bank rule but it was very time consuming to go through each bank rule individually - there can be hundreds of bank rules.

  4. A slight nuisance when creating bills, that seems to have started happening as part of the new invoicing 'updates' as I never had these two issues before.

    1) There is a certain bill transaction that I add monthly, usually 10-15 per month. The lines are always the same so for speed I always copy one bill to another and so on. Once I add the payment Xero sends me back to the home screen and a pop up appears in the bottom left hand corner to 'view bill'. I click on this to then copy the bill for the next…

  5. Currently when opening the TIMESHEETS page the order of the timesheets is very random (example attached).

    The most common reason for visiting this page is to view and approved/reject timesheets so It'd be very helpful for us when we do open this page that the most recent timesheets awaiting approval are at the top.
    Currently we have to click on the 'Last Edited' column header to get the most recent time sheets.
    Can we please have this page DEFAULT set up to accommodate most recent date at the top (example attached).

  6. Small request: Include the cover & contents page by default, please.

    The following is info from a Support webpage... Publish a report from the Drafts tab. In the Accounting menu, select Reports. Select the Drafts tab. Click the menu icon kebab style menu icon to the right of the report you want to publish, then select Publish.

  7. It would be nice to have a reminders function for Suppliers just like with Customers.

    We work with a very long list of Suppliers in some of our clients' companies. It could be a nice feature to have scheduled reminders go out to some suppliers that you always have to chase down for invoices/statements.

  8. Cash Summary Report to include Primary Person Please.

    Can you get a cash summary report to provide in order 3 items as per below
    Invoice No ... Contact ...Primary person
    I cant seem to find a report for all three .
    We send 170 invoices out client who pay sometimes do not include invoice number and we have to track by firm name or contact which can vary also on bank receipt information.

    e.g.

    I need "Primary person" to help "match" an unidentied payment. so searching for "primary person" identifies the invoice number or the right contact.

  9. At the moment Zero Rated GST can only be applied to Revenue items on the Chart of Accounts. When we deal with a property sale between GST registsred parties, the sale is also zero rated for GST purposes. We need the option to apply the 0% GST rate to asset codes as well as revenue codes. At the moment, we have to do a manual workaround.

Currently when selecting invoices to include in a batch deposit you can only select what's on the current screen, when you click to the next screen you lose the selections you made on the previous screen. I have thousands of invoices awaiting payment, even with the max display amount of 200, it's 30+ screens to scroll through. I have to create multiple batch deposits in order to capture everything that's being taken to the bank that day. Please add a search field that will save and allow multiple invoices to be included in batch deposits.

  13. We wish to let some of our users have access to purchase orders, raising & viewing etc.

    Currently if we give them access to purchase orders it also lets them see supplier balances and also click into the supplier and therefore into the accounts i.e invoices etc.

    We would like our staff to just see the purchase orders and raise purchase orders but not have access to anything else.

  15. LSL liability calculations are currently handled externally to Xero.

    It would be nice to have a system which could automatically track LSL on staff, similar to asset depreciation.

    Hi community, thanks for your insights on how this feature would be useful to you within Sales invoices. Being open we don’t have direct development for this planned atm, however our product teams are doing some more discovery in this space and we’d like to invite you to feedback through our survey here.   17. Fix Tabbing issue when creating reconcile period. When creating a reconcile period I enter the first date of a Statement Date Range, hit tab and instead of going to the last date of the Statement Date Range where it should go, it weirdly tabs to the opening statement balance, forcing me to go back and click on the ending date box.

  18. It would be really useful to be able to put my supplier quotes on to Xero as some of my jobs have numerous quotes from different suppliers. It would make it easier to compare them and then generate our own quotes to our customers from these.

  19. Projects - Ability to check multiple items to Pass on/Mark up.. Surely its an easy interface fix to create a column in the right hand side next to items so we can check all items to be passed on to the client or that need a mark up. When lines are identical amounts Im going goggle eyed trying to work our which line im up to when clicking on the stupid 3 dots! Fix this please!
