  1. Need the report linked from dashboard's Total Cash In and Out to MATCH to the data shown on a report.

    Right now it opens up a Bank Summary report which includes transfers, but even after removing transfers from the equation, the numbers still do not match up on the cash flow widget. I can't verify the cash flow widget's numbers.

  2. Currently the Salary Sacrifice is just deducted on the Gross to Net report. Where as on the TB the amount is added. It would be good if this could be segregated.

  3. Since system allows to import manual journal with up to 300 lines cap, it would be of high value to have a feature to import additional lines into the existing manual journal (especially that we found an instruction on how to do that, but there is no functionality withing the Xero product)
    Or as another alternative, if there is an option to merge existing manual journal entries than it will work perfectly as well.

  4. Sales question:
    we want to buy xero. We only do 100 transactions per year, but we have one month which has more than 20 invoices and 5 bills, (an event we organise). does the basic subscription do monthly transaction counts only or can it do an annual transaction count.

    When I quickly want to take a photo of a receipt using mobile, I have to go through several clicks from the Dashboard: Purchases | Files Inbox | Take Photo. Which is frustrating. Can't you put a button on the dashboard [Take photo]?

  6. completing a cert IV in accounting and bookkeeping you have to become a user for approximately 10 different companies. Therefore once you have finished your course they sit in your My Xero, the only way to remove yourself as a user it to do each one, can you have an option to remove yourself as a user for multiple companies in one step.

  7. If a Xero client has a credit card that is cancelled due to scam or new card etc, the only option is to create a new bank feed for the card so you can continue to get the data. In this instance, you end up with two bank accounts on your Xero file, both with a balance. At the moment, you can only do a transfer to move 1 balance to the other, than archive the one not needed. It would be nice to be able to merge the two together so that the balance works and the transactions stay…

  8. Given XERO is pulling in credit card transaction details can they pull in payment due dates to help manage timing of payments? Could be as simple as a "Payment is due" flag that a user can manually turn off if they want after paying.

  12. As a workaround for an issue caused by the obsolete Xero payroll service, Xero support suggested that I use the "edit layout" feature to group 2 accounts in the report. However, Trial Balance does not have an "edit layout" button, so I am stuck displaying 2 accounts that have canceling balances. One of the accounts is the system Accounts Payable account so I am not able to resolve the issue "correctly" with a manual journal entry. Editing the report layout is my only option.

  13. Once a timesheet has been deleted for a given pay period by an employee, both the employee and the payroll administrator should be able to create a new timesheet for this same period.

    We have had instances where the employee has accidently deleted their timesheet after it was declined by payroll administrator (instead of fixing it), and once deleted there is no ability for either employee or payroll administrator to create another timesheet for this period (I submitted a support request to Xero and they confirmed this).

  14. Sometime in the last week, the order in which data is presented in the Payroll Activity Summary report has changed from
    - Earnings
    - Tax
    - Super
    - Net payable
    - Actual paid
    to
    - Earnings
    - Net payable
    - Actual paid
    - Super
    - Tax

    Put it back, please, it makes no sense to have something other than Wages less Tax equals Payable. Also reinstate the highlighted total lines in this report and in the Payroll Employee Summary, I'm ashamed to send this to my client with their IAS, it's not readable enough.

  17. Hi,

    I would like to suggest a small but valuable improvement to the Projects section in Xero. Currently, in the "Quotes & Invoices" tab within a project, only the invoice number is displayed, which is useful for tracking. However, for many businesses, including ours, it would be incredibly helpful if both the invoice number and the reference field could be shown simultaneously in the project’s invoice summary view.

    This improvement would enhance visibility and make it easier to track project-specific details without losing sight of important invoice numbers.

  18. To be able to file a Gross to Net report and subtotal by tracking category. It's the only way that we would be able to report per category of worker. This is built into Sage and really important for a lot of businesses.

  19. Budget Manager - Ability to Archive old budgets that relate to archived tracking categories.
    At present the budgets still appear within budget manager even though linked to an archived tracking category. It would be great that when you archive a tracking category that the budget is archived along with it or just the ability to archive old budgets in budget manager. At present you can only delete so you lose that history.
