  1. We run a music festival of 10 concerts. Each concert is set up as a tracking category. It would be great to spread the direct and admin costs across evenly acoss all 10 concerts in a way that doesn't involve entering each invoice across 10 lines.

  2. I have around 100 billable expenses each month, I click on the 'Billable' in Expensify and that comes through to xero, but there are many that need to be entered into xero directly.
    We need a report showing unbilled expenses where we can click on the items to mark them as billable in bulk, rather than line by line, which takes up a lot of time.

We sell software from various vendors and many have rules relating to how their products are sold e.g. "Must include min of one license of X before customer can order any licenses of "Y" OR "Software Maintenance should be ordered with the licenses, otherwise it is ordered as a "Maintenance Upgrade" (with different pricing), and many other examples.

    Updating these each time a new price list is issued must be done manually as Notes cannot be imported or exported making it very tedious.

  4. I want to disable Xero from autofilling my tracking categories on invoices. I regularly invoice a client but the invoice tracking category differs regularly. I'm sick of having to correct the autofilled tracking category to the correct selection.

    There also appears to be a bug in this area. When I delete/amend the invoice tracking category that has been autofilled and then alter any part of the line item it reverts the tracking category to whatever it was originally, which is really annoying me.

  5. On the Xero mobile app, it would be great to be able to search Products & Services. If a customer wants a price on an inventory item, I have to create an invoice or quote, then add an item to see a price. A Product & Services link off the Dashboard would be very helpful.

It would be great if a customer could pay more than one invoice on their account using stripe, perhaps when sending a statement there could be a link for Stripe to include all items in that statement, many of our customers have lots of small invoices that require payment at month end and it isn't practical to ask them to make individual payments

    Hi Claire, I do want to confirm that the '#' symbol is only shown on the view of the invoice in Xero. You'll see once saved or approved only the symbols entered within the field are shown in the Invoice Number column on the list view and this field will show depending ono the branding styles applied to the sent invoice. 

  8. It would be helpful to edit the layout of the Overview payroll dashboard, as you can do with the normal Xero accounting dashboard.

    I can't understand why the 'pay employees' widget is at the bottom, surely running payroll is the primary function so why isn't that at the top? Not all business use the leave and timesheet function, they should be considered secondary.

  11. Xero should allow accounting professionnals the ability to EXCLUDE FROM ALL REPORTS all transactions that Xero automatically generates as a reversal because of a modified transaction. We should be able to only report on final transactions and not any of the prior corrections.

    It would be great if Xero would allow for a "historical" report where these transactions can be exclusively reported on.

  14. Currently, Xero lists a super accrual for employees under the age of 18 when they earn over $450/mth. However, it doesn't take into account how many hours that employee works per week. Under 18s are not eligible to be paid super unless they work over 30 hours per week (even if they earn over $450/mth), but Xero doesn't recognise this. Unfortunately this shows up a s liability for the employer, even though a liability doesn't exist.   15. The new mobile functionality for Outstanding Invoices adds more steps to being able to see when an invoice is due.

    In the past, it was a one button press into Outstanding Invoices and it was easy to see the dates for when all invoices were due.

    With the new system, now when you press into Outstanding Invoices, you cannot quickly see the due dates, and it's cumbersome to have to dig into each client by pressing View all invoices, only to then be able to see the due date.

    Thanks for your feedback on the change in the mobile app, Mike. I've passed this onto the team however do want to be upfront that there's no immediate plans around this atm. 

    Instead, the 'Sales' tab invoice list screen might help what you're trying to view. This will show all the invoices and due dates in the same screen.

  17. I understand there is history and notes section to show the user activities and login activities. It would be great if there is a log/report that shows the user permission changes. For example, when the new user is created, and created by whom, what permission is given to new user, what permission change is given to existing user and when the user is deactivated and actioned by whom. etc.

  18. I understand the new journal report can add a column of "Posted by". it would be great if we can also add the "created by" and "edited by" in the report. We want to see a list of creator, editor and poster for each journal (with Journal details).
