  1. Ability to change Fonts in reports. Each firm is unique, and have ways to express themselves. We have always used a particular font for all our correspondance.
    The XERO reports look the same for every firm. Adding the options for fonts, size, colour will allow firms to be slightly different.

  2. You can upload your logo and it appears on your invoices. Great. But here is an easy win, replace the initials on the Menu drop down with the company logo too? It would just be a nice touch.

  3. We've started using Projects and I've created a test project, sales and purchase invoice and have marked the sales invoice as paid.

    However the project summary report doesn't show that the client/sales invoice has been paid and this is so important for us to be able to plan our payment run for the direct costs relating to that client/project.

    Can this field be added to the report?

  4. I would like to export batch payments but instead of a summed up amount for a supplier I would like to have separated invoice line items.

    Eg, 5 invoices for OF should result in 5 lines on the CSV import for the bank instead of 1 line with the total.

  5. I'd like the ability to remove the "Forwarded Bill" note from the Reference field on the Bills tabs.

    Purpose: to make the data on these tabs easier to view. All of our bills are input via the Email Bill to Xero functionality - this note therefore appears on every single bill and is not only redundant but makes the actual references / invoice numbers harder to read.

  8. Were clients have figures in the New Xero Cashflow report of $1,000,000 and $10,000,000. The cashflow can only handles this by reducing the months on the report. An Idea to get arround this would be to do what larger company's do in a prospectus. State in a subtitled that all figures are in millions and omit the last 3 zeros.

  9. For now there's a option to block issuing invoice for customer which exceed a certain credit limit. Can we have more options to block a customer, like overdue invoices etc.?

    Appreciate there are more settings that you'd like to expand the use of the Credit Limit for, Joyce. 

    In lieu of change in the direct feature atm, one way to prevent further invoices from being raised for a contact could be to set their limit to the amount of the invoice due which would stop all future invoices for the contact being raised.

  10. Would be extremely helpful to be able to include the Suppliers Payment Terms as an addtional field on the Purchase Order Template.

  11. It would be useful to be able to remove employees who are no longer working for the company from the Xero Expenses app. It's annoying having their names pop up under the "Nothing to review" section as it's easy to continue to file expenses under their name even though they no longer work for the company.

  14. Allow any field from the company or contact field to be added to report columns. e.g. Company account ID so once a report is downloaded we can use Vlookup and consolidate data from several different reports, Company City, or State so we can evaluate sales based on geography. The currently available columns in the Reporting are very restrictive and do not allow a business to make smart decisions as data is scattered or not available easily.

    Hi Lynx, appreciate raising your idea in community. While we don't intend to make every field of a contacts record visible in every report appreciate your detail around the Location and Contact Account Number that you'd like to be able to view. Are there any specific reports you'd find this most useful in? 

  15. Occassionally a debit order fails/ bounces after a considerable amount of time, after the receipt has already reflected on a customer statement. In this case, I should be able to reverse the receipt without removing it from the Accounts Receivable account.

    For example, a debit order runs in March and bounces several weeks later in April, after the customer has received a statement.

    E.g. end of March they receive a statement showing

    Opening Balance 0
    Invoice 100
    Receipt -100
    Closing Balance 0

    When the receipt now bounces in April, their next (April) statement should begin with what the closing balance…

  17. Ability to remove value from online quote. This will allow templated quotes to be used where a total value isn't used and individual pricing is set per task. Dependant on the job there are specific rates per brick etc. Which is calculated at the end of a job bet the rate is set at the start therefore we need people to accept our quote (rates) but the total (quantity) wouldn't be determined until job completion.

    Hi community, while we appreciate your idea here we want to be open that we don't have plans for implementing this change any time in the near term.

    If you'd like to enter a quote with rates and no quantity an option could be to specify the detail of the calculation for jobs in the 'Summary' field.

    You could set up a separate branding theme to be used specifically for your quotes to alter which fields are shown, and when entering the amounts you'd use the Price field to signal the rate and leave the Qty. field as '0'. This means you'll still have a price set per line of your quote but the total amount of the Quote would be '0' and determined at the completion of the job when you copy the quote to an invoice and enter the Qty.

  18. When using E-Invoicing - the customer does not get a PDF copy of the bill. How do you provide supporting documents?

Hi Community, we need to have the option to add a new line between the invoice instead to go to the bottom part of the invoice to create it, and then moving it where we need it, many times I need to add a line in a large invoice but to make it, I need to go down to the bottom part, add a blank new line and move it where I need. If we can just make right-click and add a new blank line where we need it, it will be easy to create or amend an invoice.

    Thanks for sharing, Jose. While not a complete solve for what you're asking here - atm, once you add a line you can then move this to wherever you'd like it to sit in the invoice. 

    Just drag & drop from the 6 dots in far left column ij the new invoice experience. 🙂
