  1. It would be good if you could hide leave balances on individual employee payslips. The hide/show leave balances on payslips is a global setting applying to all employees. We have a scenario where the employ moved from part time to casual. They had leave balances as a part time employee, but don't have them as a casual but the zero leave balances still appear on their payslip.

  3. Under the 'New Invoice' creation page, it would be great to add a contact's VAT number as you are creating the contact, on the invoice page.

    Just add one line under the address.

    Then one would not have to navigate to the Contacts page to add the VAT number

  5. Including the AUTO lookup feature for sales tax in the Mobile App would make the product usability much better in states such as Colorado. To create invoices at "pop-up" events in various tax jurisdictions is crucial so you don't have to remember to continuously load new rates for complex destination /home-room rule situations. The "usability" of the app would be increased rather than being tethered to a computer to manage.

  6. It would be great to have the option to select multiple projects at once, e.g. Like there is for transactions. This would provide so much better management of projects. Currently it is is soooo slow to delete projects. Each deletion requires three clicks of the mouse and then the page refreshes. Such basic functionality which would be transformative in managing lots of projects.

    In addition in the API there is no way to bulk delete projects either. Very frustrating!

  9. When posting a pay run, Xero should automatically create spend money transactions with all relevant details and links to the pay run.

    Currently, this is done manually by creating spend money transactions for each transaction and there is no link to the payslip.

    This will save a lot of time in reconciling a pay run and improve the connectivity within Xero.

    Hi community, you might've heard that we’re making changes to Global Pay Run to help you manage your payroll more effectively;

    - From 23 July 2025 Global Pay Run will become read-only. You'll still be able to see all your past payroll information, however you will not be able to process any new pay runs after this date.

    - Global Pay run will be retired after April 2026, at which point you'll no longer be able to access pay run.

    Considering that we'll retire this feature we want to front-foot that we have no plans (as requested in this idea) to develop Global Pay Run.

  10. I have a repeating bill that is set up with the due date 14 days after invoice date. This is fine except the date calculated is 14 calendar days and the bill is actually due after 14 working days. Is it possible to have an option that allows for working days rather than calendar days?

  11. In the Payroll software, we can only allocate Direct wages to the cost of sales. Unfortunately, that doesn't include Employer NI nor Employer Pension cost in the cost of sales.
    Such coding would be useful, as we now use Birghtpay to do such coding.
    Without this feature, the gross profit margin and overheads are incorrect.

  13. General Ledger export from Xero file. Currently when you export the general ledger transactions from Xero and import into MYOB (which we use MYOB AO for our year end Financials) the transactions are the full audit history of the Xero transactions not just what shows in a general ledger report. If transactions have been edited in any way this creates multiple additional entries and reversals to sift through in MYOB. It would be great to have the option to exclude the audit history transactions and just have what shows in the general ledger report.

  14. When a bill is generated through Email-to-Bill the bill history only says System Generated and 'Received through Email-to-Bill'
    It would be much more valuable to see the sender's email here (e.g. 'Received through Email-to-Bill from ***@gmail.com') in case a follow-up is needed

  15. I am trying to add a list of inventory items to a project quickly, to estimate cost, is there an easy way to upload an excel sheet with all the inventory items & quantities?

    I need to add multiple items like over 60 each with their own quantity... Can I upload a list? Instead of individual listing?

  17. On our batch payment printout auditors want someone to sign them off and say they've randomly verified bank accounts. Is there any way to customise the batch payment printout to include:
    1. Random bank accounts verified (with tick box)
    2. Signature area
    3. Name of Person Signing off

  18. Currently the PPL pay item can only be allocated to an expense account.

    This is not in line with the Australian Accounting Standard.

    Can Xero update the ability to allocate to a liability account, please?

  19. Better documentation for BankAccountNumber needed.

    The documentation for importing contacts is not clear, specifically how to include banking details.

    First time users, such as myself, could be greatly assisted if the documentation for the BankAccountNumber was described as <bsb><space><account number>.

    I did a large number of documentation and Google searches before it clicked that the BSB and account number are both specified in the BankAccountNumber field. This is not obvious.

  20. Ability to reject a Draft Supplier Invoice and send a email to the supplier with why their Invoice was rejected.

    To often, I receive invoices from Suppliers of whom have forgotten Purchase Order details or have missing information.

    There is obviously the option to Approve an Invoice, nut nothing to reject.
    I would like a function where I can Reject an Supplier Invoice and respond to the Supplier with why Invoice was rejected and this information is stored against the supplier and shown as a note on the Supplier History or.
