  1. Add reference field for project.
    We do a lot of project work. Our clients will generally have a tender or contract number associated with the project. I need to include this number on all invoices related to the project.

    It would be great to have an optional reference field for each project that, if not blank, would automatically populate the reference field for every invoice created.

  2. Can we please have the ability to export bank statement search results to a csv file?

  3. we have option to download pay slips of employees but, there is no option to download timesheets it would be easy to have a option to download timesheets.

  4. Extend the screen on budget manager to see all 12 months including the total. It is time consuming to scroll down and across when checking totals.

  5. It would be good if on the taxable payments annual report, when it shows that the ABN has been 'provided' that this is also linked whether the ABN status is GST registered or not. This would be an easy checking tool that the GST charges has been properly done so and would make the person lodging the form to easily identify whether or not GST should be charged or not. MYOB has the function is client to check this whether its GST registered or not. Would be great for some more improvement on this making it quicker to lodge the…

  6. we are currently setting up our company so that all employees use projects to keep track of time entries.
    however, we have given majority of our employees limited access as they don't need to see much, but it means they aren't able to add their expenses on. This isn't ideal for us as our employees do a lot of travelling and need to be able to add their own expenses on to claim their millage back, is this something that could be changed?

  7. Will it be possible to have "description field" in the Deduction field of the Pay template? That can be changed or updated directly on the pay template. For example, to add the ending date for staff loan deductions.

  8. Sales tab - Love the "Billable Expenses", Needs to be above Quotes.
    Need to be able to not bill them where I have a project invoice. Just assign the customer.

  9. Auto accrual of Alternative Leave - It would be great if there was a permanent payment item setup in Xero for public holidays worked, and when it is used Xero automatically accrued the alternative leave earned. Or at least make it more obvious that you have to manually adjust the alternative leave accrual in each pay.

  10. It would be useful to be able to deselect employees form completing time sheets and therefore not appear on the time sheet screen. We have admin staff that don't complete time sheets but I still have to submit nil time sheets to ensure all are up-to-date

  11. Increase the character limit for product/item codes from 30 to at least 50.

    Our suppliers use a minimum of 8 characters, up to 12 characters. We use 4 suppliers regularly, which all use different SKU's; This means we can have 36 characters for standard products, even more if there is a supplier we don't purchase too regularly from or if there are 2+ similar products that get grouped under one item.

  12. It would be really helpful if a bill could be created from the pension filing figures on payroll once you have clicked on marked as filed. (such as it is an option when you do your vat return)

  13. Since the option is there to amend a PO once it's been approved would it be possible to add a requirement for POs where the value has been increased to have to be re-approved?

  14. I'd like to enable one-click payments from customers when I send them an invoice, but only ACH, not credit card. As it is, if I enable ACH payments via Stripe, the system displays credit card options to the customer. When I try a custom branding theme without the credit card display, Xero will not allow any Stripe payment mechanism.

  15. The pop up boxes, creating a new item for example, should be able to be moved so that the underlying page can be seen. This is standard on most of the software that I use so it should be so on Xero.

  16. I would like to be able to choose to lock the Bank Account field in the Batch Payments screen where you can change/add bank account numbers. Making the user add the bank account number into the contact screen and the redo the batch payment so it draws that information from there - and any changes from here are notified to the Contact Bank Acc Admin.

  17. It would be useful to capture Incoterms on a contact by having a dropdown selection for them. Additionally, if this information can be carried over to the invoice screen, it would be beneficial.

    Hi Amanda, in lieu of having a direct field and selection for this in Xero perhaps an option could be to add this information to the Notes of the contacts record, or attaching as a file to the contacts record.

    Appreciate this doesn't automatically flow through to the invoice.

  18. A staff member will be working in 2 different locations - I would like the cost of the salary to be split over the 2 (3 days in one location and 2 days in the other location)

  19. On the Profit and Loss report there is no ability to show percentages, if tracking categories are used as a filter. We want to see COGS as a percentage of trading income, and Net Profit as a percentage of trading income.

  20. The status of invites to XeroMe to be easily displayed

    When an employee is invited to XeroMe, it would be good to be able to see the status including:
    - sent to employee
    - employee revoewed
    - employee accepted
    - employee rejected
    - etc
