  1. Add a "DUE" Column to The new "Customer Invoice Summary" report if it is to replace the "Customer Invoice Report". At the moment the proposed change will remove functionality. We rely on the current Customer Invoice Report to update our cashflow. The proposed "BALANCE" column is not the same as the "DUE" data. "BALANCE" only gives Invoices not paid at end of filtered period rather than what is left to be paid period.
    Alternatively..... DO NOT RETIRE THE CUSTOMER INVOICE REPORT!!!!

  2. In the Reconcile Accounts view it would be great to be able to have a link to the item you are about to reconcile - like the "more info" on the statement side of the reconcile view. Often payments appear to match but it can be hard to tell without seeing the detail on the invoices or payments that have been registered against the invoice.

    Hi Rob, if you click the Find & Match text above the right hand side of the match this'll pop open the Find & Match modal where you can quickly open the invoice in another tab to check it's details.

  3. Tick boxes on the awaiting payment bills screen to remain after editing a bill in Xero.

    Before the new update to Xero, it was possible while ticking bills in the (Bills - Awaiting Payment Tab) - for a batch payment, to edit any that might have a slight error. For instance if you had ticked about 100 bills and noticed one had the wrong amount, it used to be possible to edit it, use the back arrow to go back to your Awaiting Payment Tab and all the bills you had previously ticked, were still ticked (or highlighted in blue).…

  4. Reports: Project Financials
    Include the ref of bills and invoices as an optional column on this report. At present the only way to include this information is to re type it into the description of each line on a bill or invoice, which is not efficient.

  5. Put a green border around the discuss box (in the dashboard reconcile tab) if there is a potential matched docket from queries so you don't have to click to the match button for every item to see if the ones you have processed were a match.

  6. Have the ability to create Manual Repeat Journals for older date ranges (3 years ago). The current restrictions on this should be allowed once a Lock Date is implemented.

    Otherwise you get an error like:
    The Next Journal Date entered is prior to the start of your previous financial year.

    This is very fustrating.

  7. Employer pension contributions for employees on SMP should be calculated on the employee's earnings before they went on leave, not on the reduced rate of 90%. Xero's calculation is currently on the latter with no option to overwrite. The correct calculation would be first choice, but the option to change figures would be helpful also

    Hi everyone👋, thanks for the idea and support here. To be open and upfront we don’t have any plans in the near term to expand this functionality.

    Right now, you can create an additional Employer Pensions pay item and add it to the employee's Pay Template. When the pay run is processed you'll be able to enter in the difference due, to ensure the total contributions equals the required value. If anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea. 

  8. It would be great if we could edit the tax rate without reversing the payment allocation. Sometimes, when completing the VAT reconciliation before sending to HMRC, I spot errors in tax rates and I can't edit it without reversing the payment allocation. You can edit the account it is posted to but not the tax rate.

  10. department/tracking category for more than one group
    for example a horse stud has three departments 1. Farm. 2. Administration and the third being Horses. At the end of the payrun e.g Payroll Employee Summary Report, ideally need to show each department with the sub totals for each department Gross Tax Super and Net Payment with a YTD for the total of the departments

  11. When creating sales invoices in Xero, the cut away remittance slip (or "payment advice") appears at the bottom of the invoice, but if your invoice has several line items and therefore goes over one page, the remittance slip still shows on the first page and makes the invoice look disjointed.

    We have played around with the custom invoice feature but because the remittance slip is in the footer of the invoice template, there doesn't seem to be a way for us to manually change this so that it only appears on the last page.

    If Xero could build this feature…

  12. In the Inventory Item Summary report I can customise the report by adding a filter & then searching for a stock item eg a spigot - but there are 100 different types of spigots, & each of them need to be selected individually!!! can we please have a "select all" button???

  13. Have all tasks automatically marked as invoiced (preferably with invoice number) when they have varying hourly rates and times set within the task. Also ability to mark any task manually as invoiced and assign an invoice number if required.

  15. Can we please have a report that will breakdown annual leave and leave loading. When there is a lot of employees that take leave for a quarter is time consuming to have to drill down into each employee to work out the leave loading to ensure that the SGC amount is reconciled.

  17. I need Xero to have more payment file formats to upload bill payments into the bank. It is such a useful function, but it becomes too much manual intervention to add columns every time you export the file to match your specific bank's needs.

    It will be great to be able to upload a template that can pull the needed info, similar to a Sales invoice templates.

  19. It would be handy to be able to customize the view screen on the contacts screen within Xero. Ie add additional columns - a payment column? It would be a lot easier to have a visual of payments received rather than having to click on the invoice or run a statement against the client to see when payment was last received / paid. It would also be handy to have an item column that includes payments. As well as an option to reconfigure the column order, Ie. Date in first column.

  20. When printing newly created checks it would be nice to have the ability to easily select all for just those new checks by marking all previously printed checks as having already been printed instead of either having to check the box next to each check you want to print or by doing a search by date (if you print checks once daily) to be able to then select all to print.
