    Hi Katrina, when you say you'd like to bulk attach documents - would this be adding the same attachments to multiple bills at once or bulk adding attachments within a singular draft bill?

  3. Bill Payments - be able to create a make payment for a set amount which is a part payment of a supplier statement and send remittance for a part payment for multiple bills on a statement

    Client/business receives multiple bills from supplier, and pays 30 days after end of the month, they may want to pay installments of say $5,000 off the statement which will be applied against multiple bills including a part payment. At the moment there is no way to create this payment and send a remittance to the supplier, we have to wait until the payment appears…

  4. When you view invoices under activity within a contact it would be immensely helpful to see the description of the invoice as a column because it is very complicated and frustrating to have to open each invoice under a contact before finding the one you are looking for.

  5. Is it be possible to add a section to 'find and recode' where you change status from approved back to draft? It would really help if hubdoc imports a number of documents incorrectly - tthen the fix can be done on bulk transactions

  6. If I need to edit an approved invoice (which I do regularly) I have to click "Invoices" > "Awaiting Payment" > Select an individual invoice > Click 3 buttons > Click Edit.

    I would like to see an option to edit an invoice direct from the "Awaiting Payment" invoice list screen - perhaps just an edit icon or something similar so that the default behaviour doesn't change BUT, there is an additional option to go directly into Edit mode

  7. would be great we we could override or manually edit the GST on a transaction that may be part GST and part non GST, like any item that is only part deductible rather than having to manually split into two lines one gst and one non gst. Keeps the gross as one figure, easier to trace.

  8. Why does the Supplier ABN not appear on the online invoice view? We now have to download the invoice as a PDF to see the ABN. This was not an issue with the Classic view.

  9. Receipts sent to bills do not require due dates, having to have them as a compulsory item wastes a lot of time. Can you make this an Option?

    Constantly having to fake a due dates and re-approve is not needed for 60% of bills.

  10. In Accounting and Bank accounts, i would love to be able to drop and drag bank accounts to put them in order, Currently you have to click each account to move it to where you need it. This is fine if you only have 10 or under bank accounts but if you get to over 100 plus it's a very slow process

  11. Ive moved form Quickbooks to Xero (I guess this is common).
    Xero does not accept bank feeds from Macquarie Banks - Offset Accounts.
    It's very frustrating to manually have to import bank statements every month and I would love if they could please collaborate so it can occurs. It makes it tedious for my business and I lose hours trying to do it every time.

  12. Ever since Xero updated the online view to hide invoice info, I get one or two clients a month asking me what they're being billed for.

    Of course all they have to is click for details, but users are funny that way... they're not seeing it, and there's really no good reason to have this info hidden. I wish there were at least a setting to show them as expanded/visible by default, or even just have the first bit revealed so people would notice that they can click to expand.

    As it stands I have people who think I'm invoicing…

  13. I have just attended the Cash Flow with Xero webinar, which was useful. However, it was confirmed that payroll is not a part of the cash flow forecasting/analytics functionality. Payroll can be a significant cost to a business, and cashflow forecasting excluding it is pointless. It is not a true representation of your cashflow or analytics if it does not include payroll. As payroll is also a function within Xero, is this something that Xero is looking to add to the cash flow forecasting/analytics functionality?

  14. Classic invoicing uses shading on screen to help see the data fields. Recreate that in new invoicing. You might find you get a better response to new invoicing if users can easily see the data they are trying to work on rather than scanning a white screen. The content is fine, it just looks rubbish.

Choose your cash basis accounts - After coming to the forum becuase I haven't found a way to remove non-cash accounts from cash basis reports I saw a bunch of people asking for depreciation to be ADDED to the reports. So obviously we all want something different. How about each account on the COA has another checkbox (like the "show on dashboard", "enable payments" check boxes) that gives the user the option to EXCLUDE FROM CASH basis REPORTS. I can remove all the deferred revenue, someone else can add in depreciation, and we can all have the cash basis reports…

  16. Enable the "bills" object (behind the scenes) so that the standard Bill.com integration with Xero can post PAID bills into Cashbook for bank account reconciliation. I spoke with Bill.com today and even they did not realize their integration will not work with Cashbook. We have a number of families we use Bill.com to pay their bills and Cashbook for bank recon and reports. We were shocked to learn the integration won't work and are now scrambling for a manual export/import work around but that won't scale with our client base.

  18. I've received multiple calls from customers who were confused when trying to find my bank account details on the online invoice. They couldn’t see the bank account details immediately on the view after clicking the "Review and Pay" or "View your bill online" link in the Xero email. Initially, the invoice shows only the Stripe payment option, and customers must click "View Invoice Details" to see my bank account information. This setup is confusing and not straightforward for customers!

    According to Xero support, it’s impossible to change this view for customers:

  19. As the Open Banking Credit card transactions with Fx amounts are still being incorrectly imported, allow the transactions to be edited rather than every month having to delete the existing transaction and create a new one.

  20. Cancelled Monthly Recurring Invoices:-

    New Xero - You can view the Repeating Transaction Template from the Sales invoice, which is not recognised as cancelled! When you view via Repeating invoices option it doesn't appear!

    Old Xero - Correctly displayed the Repeating Transaction was deleted from the sales invoice, without having to check in Repeating Invoices option.

    Please change this option back so the sales invoices agree with the repeating invoices.
