Xero Network - Use network key when sending and receiving invoices
For my clients that I have on Xero, I would like to use the Xero Network Key send through my invoices as Spend Money transactions instead of Bills.
Similarly, I would like to receive invoices from Xero through my Xero Network Key as a Spend Money instead of a bill that I import/approve.

Reporting: Executive Summary - Option to exclude accounts
In the executive summary report, could there be an option to exclude certain accounts similar to the business snapshot report. For example I would like to exclude the distribution of profit accounts in partnerships as this shows a false profit of $0.
Also can the variance also be expressed in a $ value in audition to the percentage value.

Manual Journals - Ability to see draft without having to click on the tab
It would be useful in the manual journal screen if it indicated there were draft manual journals without having to click on the tab. When using repeating journals which are saved as draft each month you have to remember they are there to attend to.

Bills | Make payment - Wider Fields for "Paid From" and "Reference"
Can you make the "Paid From" and "Reference" fields wider in the Make a Payment section of the bills and invoices? I like detail in my Reference field and there are only 14 characters that you can see and in the Paid From field, you can't see both the account number and the text.

Profit and Loss report - Automatically change the end of date of report
I use the Profit and Loss reports to do monthly management accounts.
This will be a few day after month end.
Currently I need to select year to date and manually change end date of report.
Or reselect start date as if saved as a custom date it assumes I want to report on same length of period each month.3 votes -
Aged Accounts receivable/payable reports - Make headings across multiple pages
The Management Pack report includes the Aged Receivables and Aged Payables reports. When they fall over two pages due to the volume of contacts, the column headings only appear on the first page. It would be useful (and good practice) to repeat the column headings on each page.

I see Xero are in the process of updating reports... Im yet to see an upgrade on contractor reporting, between XERO and the ATO, im sure these clever people can come up with something more efficient. I finally have got Recipient created tax invoices flowing (still could be better if POs worked as well as Bills do in XERO - another idea here) EOFY reports to Contractors and the ATO is very time consuming,…3 votes -

Profit & Loss (Income Statement) - Year to date percentage of income
Regarding the Income Statement:
When the "Percentage of Income" & "Year to Date" options are selected, can we get the percentage of income column to calculate on the year to date column as well?
This would allow for better variance analysis - comparing the current months percentages to the year to date percentages.

Fixed Assets - Prevent posting > 100% depreciation rate
Occasionally when doing data entry in Fixed Assets we have typed a depreciation rate of more than 100%. It would be good if there was an error message preventing this.

Invoice/Bill - Ability to automatically recognise user's division/branch when they enter bill or invoice
When a business has multiple branches or divisions, it would be great for the system to recognise who (from which division or branch) is entering the Bill or Invoice or Journal, and would automatically assign the correct cost centre to the transaction based on that (with the ability to override allowed or not in the user setup). It would also be good to be able to only allow reconciliation/viewing of that branch or division bank account instead of all bank accounts.

Improve Text Formatting - Invoicing
Ability to change all text to caps, lowercase or sentence case (like Microsoft word feature) to enable more consistent, professional invoicing in less time. For example when adding multiple billable expense lines.
Ability to sort invoice lines by the headers, i.e. description (alphabetically), by price or amount high-low etc.
