  2. When I send a paid invoice pdf to a customer I would like it to show the original currency and also the currency they paid in. I'd also like it to show the exchange rate of the payment, rather than the Xero calculated currency. At the moment this field isn't available in the docx merge fields.

  3. I would really like the ability to print blank cheques. Right now, when you preview the cheque there is not an option for it to be blank. If it was blank, I could have some cheques ready for those times we need one quick, and then I could enter it in Xero after. I am really hoping your team can add this feature, I can't be the only person that would benefit from this. I look forward to hearing from you.

  4. To have an account overdue notice pop up on invoice screen once customer name is entered. If a customer has an outstanding account - the reminder and amount overdue to pop up as a bit of a warning to the owner whether they should be continuing to do business with this customer, or at least until the account is settled. (I believe reckon account have this feature available and at my previous employment we found this to be most useful)

  5. It would be very useful if Xero stopped pulling amendments from transactions before the VAT registration date onto the VAT Returns.

    EG. Some transactions before the VAT registration date had 20% VAT on them, these were corrected after the first VAT return was completed. Which then was pulled onto a VAT return resulting in a reclaim position rather than paying HMRC.

  6. The "Explorer" tab in the employee expenses section needs an option to set the date range.
    At the moment it is pretty useless as I cant even see what date range it covers - presumably back to when we started using expenses mid way through the year 3 years ago?
    It is not meaningful to compare spend by different employees, if I cant do it by month or quarter, when some employees have been using expenses for much longer than others.
    An option to compare by employee for selected accounts, and to export to pdf/xls would also be really useful.

  7. it would be great to be able to have multiple reference numbers for one contact, so that way if you have multiple jobs for one company, it can be under the same name. instead of having to make up multiple contacts for the same person.

  8. I want to be able to add and edit line items in the Hubdoc mobile app so that I can process more complex invoices/bills on my mobile device. Currently I need to use the web app for this and the UX of the whole interface there is very poor – basically just the desktop interface but rendered much smaller – so the experience is quite painful.

  10. On the taskbar, it would be useful to have a dropdown option to link through to the last few pages that you have accessed. Maybe the last 10 pages accessed would be good, a mixture of recent searches and recent transactions. I know QBO has this and I use it a lot for navigating.

    For example, when I run a P&L and drill down to a specific bill, sometimes I would make an amendment to said bill. When I save and go back it spits me out at the CoA when I want to return to the P&L. So instead…

  11. Please enable the Microsoft Word function SKIPIF for use in docx invoice templates. Currently, we can use the "IF" function in customized invoices to skip item records according to its ItemCode, but as noted by another user in the Microsoft Office discussion, a blank row will still appear for records that meet the filter test.   13. Please can you send the name of the 'leave approver' to Finlerts LeaveCal integrated app. We get leave approval email notifications via their Xero add on and it would be really helpful to know the name of the person that approved a staff members leave application.
    There has been cases of team leaders with leave approval permissions authorising their own leave so this would help us monitor these situations.

  14. We use Unleashed (UL) for all of our purchases and sales. The team uploads associated files, proformas, invoices, and receipts directly to the UL PO.

    When the PO is completed and 'pushed' to Xero, the associated documents are lost. I then have to login, find them, download from UL, and then upload them into Xero.

    Is there anyway that these files can be pulled with the rest of the information?

  16. It would be really helpful if there was a way of adding a description/note to conversion balances. For example, if a creditor balance relates to a specific loan, it would be useful to be able to note this somewhere. Currently, reports only show 'conversion balance' as the description for the transaction and it isn't possible to add a description to the conversion journal. It makes it difficult to keep track of historic debtors and creditors and this information needs to be kept elsewhere, duplicating work.

  18. At a quick count there at least three different date selectors used in Xero. This makes it clunky for users and some date selectors are functionally outdated. Examples, the date selector used in Invoices (best) vs the one used in Reports (worst) vs the one used in Leave.

    Use the same date selector(s) across the entire product. One that allows for:
    - Keyboard entry of date(s), multiple formats eg 23/08/23 as well as 23 Aug 2023 (Invoices does this)
    - Shortcuts like 'This financial year' etc - where applicable
    - Quick year jumps (unlike the date selector in Reports -…

  19. When you look at an inventory item, it shows that you have that item on order, but it doesn't show you in the history and notes, what PO that the item is ordered on. All it shows in the history is the Bill's and the invoices.

    IT needs to show in the history the PO that the goods on order are ordered on.

  20. The chart of accounts should really have opening stock, closing stock and dividends as these are items that are usually needed, or perhaps some codes should be blank and we can amend them to our clients needs. The Chart of accounts are currently very basic and when adding a new code it should give you the available codes under each section i.e. for direct costs give an indication of which 300 code is available and where it should be rather than us having to guess.
