  1. When looking at a list of transaction, for example in Bank Statements, it can be hard to visually identify where transactions relating to the current month or any month begin/end in the list.

    When viewing such lists, by simply adding a darker separator line at the end of each month, and maybe an even darker/wider one at the end of each Financial Year (or indeed by having a slightly different background colour/shade for alternating months), it would make visually identifying months so much easier.

    Please can we have such a feature? It would make life a lot easier for many…

  3. Occasionally when doing data entry in Fixed Assets we have typed a depreciation rate of more than 100%. It would be good if there was an error message preventing this.

  4. One of my clients has suggested that it would be useful to be able to see the contents of the purchase orders on Xero without having to open them to find items ordered. In the same way that a salary is hidden but pops up when a mouse is hovered over on the payroll employee tab, the information on a PO could pop up.

    Opening them all is very time consuming.

  5. Online Quote - Expect the quote be view directly even is a custom branding theme.

    Purpose: The reason we said "online quote", means no matter what the customer can view online. But now it's limited due to the organisation create their own theme which is not fair.

  8. It would be useful if when manually adding an expense to a project, there could be a description box available as well as entering the expense name. We sometimes need to elaborate on those costs for the numerous people looking at that expense but there is no-where to put this information unless it's added to the expense name.

  10. Rows on invoices - On the new invoicing manually adding rows is cumbersome for a mechanic business suggest making more than 1 row on the invoice. I rarely have an invoice which is less than 6 rows.
    Font size- Font is very small and should be increased to at minimum 12pt.

    currently TB report shows ending balances for current year in db/cr two columns AND in single column Clubbed up remaining balances +/- in when COMPANRED to previous periods.

    I propose/request IT to make TB more classic by

    1. showing ALL remaining balances in two columns DB/CR when comparing previous years
    2. OPENING and CLOSING balances columns to be available (year selected from starting of fiscal year Jan20xx)
    3. TB report to ALLOW us to SELECT RANGE of dates (Range based TB)
    4. MOVEMENT (total Debits Total Credits) for the selected DATE and/OR RANGE should be available. CURRENTLY this is available in GL…

  14. Could there be options when adding a note to one of your contacts, ie, Phone Call, Email, Meeting etc etc. and then allow these to be filtered. I use the notes quite a lot for adding notes to tenants details and it would be useful to be able to look at these without having to look through every action. Same goes for contacting suppliers etc. Useful if needed for evictions or legal actions.

  15. Projects & new invoicing features needs to allow the task account code, tax code & cost center to populate automatically like it was before.
    This now means that we have to manually input these items whereas they were there before prepopulated when you created the draft invoice from the projects tasks & expenses. Hours more time is going to be spent doing these invoices now & increases the human error factor when this is all supposed to be making things more automated & streamlined. If something was working before & does not now, to get an answer from Xero support…

  17. When previewing bills in 'awaiting payment' or 'awaiting approval' there used to be up and down arrows to cycle from one bill to the next or previous. The arrows have been removed from the interface with no plans to bring them back.

    Previously, we could review the account and GST coding of each bill, as well as having the attached invoice open to the right, including the abillity to review the Xero ocntact bank details by clicking on the contact name. Now, without the abiity to cycle between bills easily, it means we need to close each bill before clicking…

When I enter the month of the bank statement with the bank statement beginning and ending balances and want to make sure all of the transactions from that month's bank statement are accounted for, checks that were written in a previous month but not posted in the bank statement until another month aren't showing up in coded transactions in the month where the bank transaction occurred. The reconciliation with the check payment and the bank transaction can be made, but the transaction doesn't show up in coded transactions section of the bank reconciliation detail report for the month the bank…

  20. AU There was a discrepancy between GST ac balance at EOQ on the Balance Sheet & the GST refund for the end of quarter BAS. Using the GST Reconciliation report would be a lot more helpful if the Filed Amounts could actually be saved and continuously show the correct unfiled running balance amount and the section "GST Account Summary " for unfiled GST was actually correct as a cumulative balance. I just did 3.5 years worth of GST Reconciliations and nothing saved so all the running balances are wrong and don't flow correctly from one year to the next -…
