    Appreciate the feedback from everyone here, and hearing the value you'd find in being able to add a clients logo to reports and make them look more professional.

    Being upfront, this isn't somethign we have plans for developing right now, but I can assure you your feedback is heard by our product teams and they are keeping a watchful eye on the idea.

  2. Adding 'statements' to the Sales drop down navigation. Simple addition, rather than having to go through the full Invoice page to send statements at EOM.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the support we've received through this idea. Without beating around the bush we don't have any short term plans for enabling the import of spend and receive money transactions. This may be something we look into further down the track so we'll continue to track and review the idea here.

    For Xero Partners you could look to use the Conversion toolbox to import bank transactions for your clients.

  4. On the Sales menu, I would like a sub-menu/fly-out to the right of Invoices with links to the Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Payment, Paid, and Repeating tabs on the Invoices page. This would enable me to go directly to the tab I want, saving a click or two, and reduce page load time instead of always landing on the default tab then having to click the one I actually want. Clicking Invoices should still go to the All tab. Same could be done on the Purchases menu for Bills.

    Alternatively, instead of a sub-menu/fly-out, add Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Payment,…

    Hi team, we appreciate your valuable feedback on how we could keep improving the new navigation experience for our customers.

    We appreciate hearing how and why sub menus could be helpful in some sections of the navigation and this is something our product team are monitoring closely.

  5. When a person has more than 5 organizations in their portfolio the 'Change of Organization' drop down list only shows the most recent 5 used. It would be helpful if ALL your organizations showed on screen to choose from. Or of course, having the option to reduce to the 5 normal.

  8. We need to deposit > 50 transactions on a daily basis. We can't marry up our remittances to our deposits recorded in Xero when done in multiple parts. It's messy and not workable for large volume businesses.

    Hi everyone, we very much appreciate the feedback from you on wanting to be able to include more than 50 invoices in a batch deposit.

    While this is something we'll continue to review we want to be open that this is not planned in the short term.

    In the other side of the coin, we know there are also some in the conversation here that would like to see an increase in the number of bills included in a batch payment and I'd recommend adding your vote and staying tuned to this other idea.

    If there is any change or updates around batch deposit volumes I'll be sure to share with you, here.

    Hi community, I know it's been some time since our last update here. Though we're continuing to follow and track the interest in automatic calculation of wine equalisation tax within Xero, for the time being this isn't something we've planned.

    As some may have received detail from our support team on there is a way we suggest you can record your WET liabilities and credits within Xero - See our post on this discussion for the detail. Alternatively, there are app partners you could explore on the Xero app store.

    If there are any changes around this we will be back to share with you all on this idea.

  10. When I login to Xero, I enter my email address and password and am taken to the second page (MFA).

    I'm then asked for the authenticator code, but I have to click into the field to enter the code.

    Xero knows that there is an almost 100% likelihood that the first (and only) thing I am going to do on that page is enter the MFA code.

    Xero should automatically have the cursor in that field so that I can type the code without clicking into the field.

    Thanks for sharing your interest in single sign on across Xero's products. This is available currently across many areas or Xero. For example if you are logged in and working in Xero, then move across to Xero Central(our support hub) you may need to click the login button in the top right of the screen but if you're session hasn't ended you should find the page should refresh and automatically log you in.

    We appreciate wanting a smoother login experience that's recognised across all Xero products and will share if there are any improvements planned around this with you all, here.

  13. As a Group Financial Administrator at an IT company operating in South Africa, I am writing to request the expansion of Xero Inventory Plus to regions outside the US.

    Our business relies heavily on accurate, real-time inventory tracking across multiple locations, and we currently face limitations due to the unavailability of Inventory Plus in our region.

    Suggested Features to Prioritize:

    1. FIFO and batch/serial tracking
    2. Multi-location inventory management
    3. Barcode scanning and sticker generation
    4. Real-time inventory valuation and reporting

    Business Impact:

    Rolling out Inventory Plus globally would empower businesses like ours to:

  15. "As an employee submitting my expenses I don't want to be left out of pocket because Xero Expenses doesn't allow me to set the exchange rate I was charged by my bank."

    Xero Expenses uses XE.com exchange rates for foreign currency exchange rates and it's not possible to override/change this.

    It should be possible for the employee, or approver, to manually set the foreign and domestic currency amounts, or set the exchange rate itself.

    Hi team, sorry it's taken so long for us to return to the idea here.

    I appreciate the feedback from my last update where I suggested lock dates as an option and hear why this isn't a viable option for some.

    If you're based in the US or CA you may want to check out our newer feature 'Reconcile period' that enables you to reconcile and close period within each bank account.

    It'd be good to hear if users from other regions in this idea believe reconcile period would resolve what you're after here and I can merge in to this idea where we're continuing to track interest for expanding this feature to other region. Thanks

  17. Please please please Xero can you work on a proper Square bank feed integration so we don't have to keep using Amaka or other 3rd party connection apps!!!
    Why can't we connect Square as a bank account with a feed similar to Stripe?!?! We are in 2024, square has been around for 15years!!

    I have so many issues with Square! And it is one of the most widely used payment processors!

    Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on a direct bank feed for Square. We understand that using a third-party integration isn't always seamless and that a direct feed, like the one for Stripe, would make life easier when reconciling your payments.

    As noted by others here, the current solution is to connect an app from the Xero App Store to bring your Square transactions into Xero, or you can continue to manually import these. 

    Right now, building a direct bank feed for Square isn’t in our plans. We're continuing to monitor the interest in this idea, so please keep adding your votes and comments as it helps us see the demand.

  18. Ability to go into the contact/client and see all notes under history and notes also the notes that are made under an invoice for the client. So ALL notes are in one place and users don't need to run a report to check a note. The former Xero layout had this. Invoice notes showed up under history and notes for the client in the old Xero layout before July 2023.

    Hi team, we appreciate that with different places in which notes can be added within Xero right now, you'd like one place you can go to view all history related to a contact. Though we don't have plans of surfacing the individual transaction history & notes on a Contacts record, you may find the History & notes report useful for getting a wider lens.

    You'll find with the report you can filter, search and view history and notes across all areas of Xero.

    We are continuing to watch the engagement and support for this idea, and will share if there are any updates.

    Thanks for the ongoing support in this idea, team. I want to be upfront that we don't currently have any plans for adding Discuss to reports however we'd like to keep tracking the support of this with community here, and will share if there are any changes to update you of.

  20. MY e-invoicing requires a tracking category in Xero. As we have clients which requires 2 tracking categories for their businesses, it is impossible to free up 1 tracking category for e-invoicing. Please look into this matter by considering adding a new tracking specific for e-invoicing.

    Hi team, we appreciate the appetite in this idea for being able to add more tracking categories to suit the needs of eInvioicing in Malaysia. We want to be open that while we have improvements planned for eInvoicing in Malaysia, increasing tracking categories isn't in our plans right now.

    I understand some in the conversation here may already be doing this however to highlight for others - Right now, if you use a Tracking category for this purpose you can also look to add a default tracking to a contacts record which may help with auto assigning these codes for customers you trade with frequently.

    We will continue to watch the interest through this idea closely, and share if there are any updates.
