Inventory - Create Inventory Items in multiple currencies
Ability to have multi-currency for inventory in Xero.
Purpose: To make invoice and purchase tracking easier, because this feature will allow users to enter different currencies when they’re buying and selling the item.

Given Xero handles multiple currencies, the expectation that you therefore only sell inventory into your local currency market is a a bit of joke to be honest.

Absolutely critical for most import/export firms, I have been asking for this feature repeatedly since I first signed up to XERO early 2014 and it has been ignored, keep looking at other systems and MYOB offers this feature.

This is vital for one of our clients who quote in GBP but also USD. This is a huge let down from Xero. Please could this be the next update.

We need this urgently. Most of our products are sold on overseas websites in USD, and it makes no sense to try to work from an AUD base for these.

Multi currency suppoert in Xero is shocking! especially considering it's marketed as a element of more expensive subscriptions.
Allowing to enter exchange rates from either currency side would be a big first step! or at least allow many more decimals in the exchange rate. not all currencies are in the hundreds and thousands. expecting everyone to just reverse exchange rates and account for discrepancy with endless adjustment ledgers is really weak!

Please do this.
How can we not have this yet D:

Buying and selling in 3 different currencies. This will help with easy conversion updates between different currencies for each product.

We have entered all of our products and services into Xero in GBP as it is our base currency. This suits us for our UK customers, however when we deal with foreign customers, whose currency is set either by the parameter in the contact info or directly via the quote / invoice, the numerical value of the product does not change to match the exchange rate as set by XE (other conversion facilities are available)
For example, if we create a quote for a US customer who wants 'Product X' valued at £10. This item will show in their quote valued at $10, instead of circa $12.65. This means that we have to manually go through every item in the quote / invoice and do the conversion ourselves. This is very time inefficient. Xero already has the conversion rate and the customer's preferred currency. Surely the software can do some simple maths in the background to convert these costs automatically, line by line?
Can you implement this feature please?

I have to say, the multi-currency feature in Xero is below standard. Most reports don't support it. I am trying to write off stock and I couldn't work out how the average cost price was so much higher than what we even bought it for. I was just about to do a revaluation of the stock, as the average cost price is just too high....then realised it was more than likely in the base currency. The Demo company doesn't have multi-currency setup, you could probably check it out, but everything is in the base currency, so I don't have time to fiddle around with that. I need to post this as soon as possible for a client, but I am actually stumped! I have NO idea what the value will be in the report....I have found the support for multi-currency very limited.

We sell our products in NZD, AUD, USD & Euro so need the ability to add specific currency pricing for each product in Xero. Really need this feature...

We also require this

We require this for our SaaS product being sold around the world

We require to be able to invoice items out in different currencies with set pricing, not converted prices from our AUD items. without this we won't be using xero for much longer.

Selling SAAS in mutliple countries - must be able to set price per region in local currency

While xero supports multi-currencies the product feature does not.
I would like to see the ability to add a price book to xero that can be assigned to a product.
For example we sell product A in NZD, and USD having a price book called NZ Prices and US prices would work.
Doing currency exchanges does not work as these are fixed prices for a CPQ system. -

Customers need to be able to see what currency each product is in.

This is vital for my business; purchasing in USD and selling in GBP is horrible when the exchange rate is a rollercoaster.
I have raised my prices to maintain the same profit, but this resulted in a larger fake (extremely fake) profit, which leads us to pay more tax.
Please add this feature ASAP!
