New invoicing - Classic Invoicing to remain default invoicing
I do not like new invoicing, so I want to KEEP to original invoicing for as long as I possibly can Until End of Feb, without having to manually scroll down to the bottom of the page everytime I log in and manually select original invoicing every time.
Hi everyone, while we appreciate your feedback here. With the retirement of classic invoicing in February, and to help customers get used to the new invoicing experience this default will continue to apply.
As we continue to improve the new experience this means customers may find updates that help their workflow and adopt the new experience.
The option to switch back to classic will be available and we understand this is the experience some customers may choose to use up until the retirement date.

If you INSIST on making us chose classic invoicing every24 hours then PLEASE remove the countdown of doom. It is ticking time bomb designed to impose as much stress as possible.
However I would prefer you allow me to say I don't want to use New invoicing until further notice.
I know Xero has the power to do this...... So.... why not? -

I have tried to work with the new invoicing version for a while now, and it just doesn't work for me. Picking dates is too tricky, writing in my own invoice number isn't always taken and I have to put it in 3 or 4 times before it takes, it takes so much longer than Classic invoicing. I don't want the default to Approve and Email invoices, I just want to Approve it. I have to Approve before attaching files, otherwise I have to wait 5 minutes before I can attach things. It just doesn't work, I gave the new invoicing a good try, but I will be using the classic invoicing until I can't, its just so much easier. Please let me keep Classic Invoicing as a Default.

Even when selecting the classic style if you import invoices it reverts back to the "new" and when the "new invoicing" fails (again) and does not allow amendments or changes, you can also not convert to classic. The whole "new invoicing" is a complete fail and should be removed completely or until it at least works

I also find the new invoicing not user friendly and SLOW when there's invoices with quite a few charge line items. Causing so many delays. The old ones is so much better! Please don't retire the old version.

(Not Graham) It gets worse sadly .... if you happen to be creating an invoice at that magic time of 24 hrs since you last clicked on the saviour button to return back to classic invoicing: when you click on the approve button, you lose the whole invoice .. it disappears, so you have to repeat that invoice again. Clown system. I raised a case to complain and Xero rang me instantly. Wow - quick response I thought. Small hope faded instantly as he started to gaslight me with 'our team are working constantly to solve this' .. followed by 'since this is a sunset product, we won't be putting any effort into this.' Laughable if it wasn't business and efficiency being played with.

Give us more than 24 hours for classic invoice before switching us back.
We (everyone who uses xero) do not like it, it does not work and I will not use it.Having to select to use classic invoicing is a pain in the a$$ and a waste of time and clicks.
I am sure a lot of people / users would agree.If we want to use classic, let us use classic and stop flicking us back, we can use the switch back to new if we want too, which we do not.
Plus bring back the pop up to view attached invoices instead of distorting the screen.
