  1. It would be useful to be able to send an email to a customer xx days after an invoice is paid.

    This could be used for all sorts of things from offering discounts on new orders to reminding them to leave a review for your service. A bit more of a CRM style feature but would help with business workflow and keeping actions in one place.

  2. It would be great if there was a feature to display conversion details for invoices that are entered in the base currency. ie - your base currency is GDP and it shows the conversion rate in EUR

  3. Say I go to a supplier and make a cash purchase. I use my debit card and then walk out with goods and a receipt. Scanning the receipt to Xero and coding the purchase if easy but I am pretty slack and normally lose the receipt before I get to scan it. What say, the vendor scans a QR code that I carry containing my email/Xero info and this allows the vendor's system to email me the purchase document. No paper and I can code the purchase when I am at my PC later in the day. Also means I…

  4. Report for "Account Transactions" should only produce one line per transaction.

    Currently, the report splits off a separate line for the PST component of each transaction, adding "- PST" in the description and to the contact name, and pulls the PST amount out of "Gross".

    I need an account transaction report that includes GST, PST and the unit price in "gross" on a single line per transaction. These gross values will match the bank statement, and have the description/reference/contact and the account(s) the transaction was coded to.

We use the search facility when trying to locate a previous invoice from a customer but the search doesn't show a summary of the items ordered (the "description" column) so could you perhaps add the "description" column listing into the search results when the down arrow is pressed that currently only shows the date and payment total. We find we need to go through so many invoices just to find the one which has a certain "product" customer ordered.

  7. PO's and Quotes that have been Deleted are marked as Deleted but continue to be displayed in the Sales and Purchases Overviews. There is no need to continue to display deleted items in the Overviews. They should be removed.

  8. Ability to add a planned payment date to a bill from the "All" tab in. It is very frustrating that if you are in the all tab in the bills to pay section and you want to add a planned date to a bill, you then have to navigate to the awaiting payment tab and then search again for the bills you want to add a planned date to.

    Further, there is actually no need for an awaiting payment tab. We should be able to filter on the All tab for the view of bills we want to see.

    If the payment is occurring at a different time to the transaction being entered is there a reason why the transaction is not being recorded as a bill, Anne-Marie? 

    There are lots of efficiencies in how bills can now be created in Xero without much manual intervention so would be good to understand more of the detail behind your business needs, here.

  11. Currently Xero Expenses creates a single expense claim for each individual item.
    Normal practice for an expense claim is it contains multiple lines (different expenses), such as parking, a restaurant bill and a hotel.

    I would like to have the ability to group individual expense lines into one expense claim.

    I would then have a single bill to pay (an expense claim with multiple lines) appear in my Bills to pay, rather than one for each line.

When you are entering a Bill to Pay, the Creditor bank account number that you have stored on their contact comes up as a window at the top, so you easily compare with the bank account number with the bank account number on the invoice. This can prompt you to check if the bank account number has been changed and you can make a phone call or follow your company guidelines regarding changing of bank account details to avoid Cyber Crime.   13. Short term cash flow projection, please can you update it to show bills with future dated payments?

    Once our suppliers bills are in for the month, we often set bank payments up for them for their due date so that we don't' have to keep remembering to make payments. If we mark them up with a future payment date, they are removed from the cashflow forecast. It would make much more sense if they appeared in the cashflow on the date they have been set to pay.

    Hi Paul, while we don't have any immediate work planned for this is there an ideal # of items you'd like to set as a default per page? 


    Just to keep things transparent, in the way features in Xero are developed, it's unlikely that this would be implemented across all areas at once. You may notice with the recent update we have being rolled out in the Reconcile page you can now see 50 statement lines at once. Also from within Products and Services, if you change the # of items per page, this selection will be held when you navigate away. A couple of exceptions for this would be if working in incognito mode or switching between browsers. 

  16. Add attachments to draft invoices in bulk. E.g add the same attachment(s) in a single step to multiple draft invoices

  17. Please allow us to collect ACH direct debit payments through Stripe, and not force us to use a 3rd solution (GoCardless) for that.

    Stripe offers direct debit ACH when sending invoices directly from Stripe. There is no reason it shouldn't be available through Xero.

  18. It would be great if Zip could be categorised correctly as a "Buy Now, Pay Later" service, rather than "Credit Card" payment service. This would allow us to integrate it with xero invoices along with Stripe for example. Currently they come up in the same category so we can only choose one. Maybe it's time to add a buy now, pay later category for after pay etc as well.

  19. Adding staff working on a project without giving them access to Xero.

    There is absolutely not need for staff to have access to Xero for me to log that they have worked on a project for 8 hours at £xx rate per hour.

    I don't want to add this information to the ledger as the staff are payrolled so I cannot enter this as an expense but I would like to diarise time against the project so profitability can be calculated.
