  1. There are times when we are occupied on payroll date. So, if we can set up a draft pay run to be automatically posted at a later time/day. This would be very helpful.

  2. From Chart of Accounts, click on an amount in the YTD column. The account loads with the transactions in date order oldest to newest. Please reverse this (or create an option) for the transactions to load with the latest transactions first by default.

  3. Enable full data import from external data source (say CSV) for all emplolyee data not just basic data. That would allow organisations with more staff to easily migrate to XERO without having to manually re-enter significant volumes of data.

    Hey community, thanks for your continued interest and feedback. Just wanted to pop in here to share that in current state you could include the Delivery Date in the Description field for each line on the purchase order, and this will appear on the order your supplier receives.

    However, if anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea!

  5. We deal with different people in purchasing, accounting, owners, etc for each account. Contact records are being treated as Account records. This makes it very difficult to keep track of all people we need to do business with within an account.

  6. Should allow non-expense accounts to be tagged for TPAR reporting. Generally, when project is under development, the "expenses" are accounted under "work-in-progress" in balance sheet, not expensed off straight away.

  7. When importing a text block report from Figured into Xero annual accounts template, we have no control over the page breaks. This often results in undesirable page breaks. An ability to add page breaks into a text block would fix this.

  8. When raising client invoices, it would be good to be able to submit the invoice to a Manager for approval.
    When processing supplier bills, it would be good to be able to submit the bill to a Manager for approval of payment of that expense.
    In both cases, this would mean that approval details of "who" and "when" would be noted in the History of the invoice/bill without needing to attach a file showing the approval or tracking this outside of the system.
    Ideally keeping the Approval role completely separate to the ability to edit the invoice/bill as well as…

  9. Require functionality that allows quotes to be sent to management for approval before they can be sent out to customers.

  12. Locking Invoices and Bills so they cannot be deleted once Finalised.

    We often see clients raise invoices, or bills in their Xero file, and then later delete them if a change is required, and then raise another invoice or bill.
    From an accounting perspective, this is a huge sin.
    Once an invoice or bill has been finalised, the only way it should be altered is by raising either a debit or credit note against it. Xero allows a user to raise debit or credit notes, but the average non-accountant does not understand what these are, so they do the easiest…

  13. How come the process of designing invoices is so painful? It would be great to have a built-in drag and drop invoice designer. I realise it won't be easy but it's mad that our only option is to design them in Word. There are so many sites that allow similar functionality, albeit for non-finance related areas like marketing.

  14. I refer to the Customer/Supplier Bill Activity reports which shows transactions as positive and negative figures. Could you *** create a report to show bill activity in Debit & Credit separate columns format instead of positive and negative figures in 1 column? Thank you

  17. It will be really great from the Aged Receivables Reports to be able to send Statements to Customers without having to leave the page and come back to it.

    A flag, on the Aged Receivables Reports, of when last a statement was sent will also be very useful.

  18. It would be really useful to be able to give users (dept. managers) access to Xero, but purely for their department, so they can view real time reports (profit & loss etc) of only their department, without having access to the company as a whole, or other people's departments.

  19. FILTERS have to be reset each time you return to a page. This is common throughout Xero and is a real nuisance, but especially if you are editing sales invoices. E.g. filtering on a group of customers and a date range has to be done to edit each invoice individually. Resetting the filter for each invoice you edit is a real pain.
