  1. When using the search function to filter reports, the "Select All" function disappears - it would be very helpful to have this function available whether using the search. Attached for demo.

  2. 1) When creating a draft invoice, and draft invoice is emailed out, it would be good to see from the 'home' page in the 'draft' folder, which invoices have been emailed. This could simply be an icon of an envelope, for example, that shows on the right hand side when the invoice has been emailed (yes even in draft form).
    2) When viewing an invoice, a 'previous/back' and 'next' button to move to the next sequential invoice number (either forward or back) would be great, rather than having to back to 'draft' or 'awaiting payment' folder and then selecting next…

    Hi Katrina, coming back across your idea here I notice there are 2 distinct ideas wrapped into the one. 

    We try to keep one idea per thread to make it clear for others to know what they're voting for and be able to share this information back with our product teams. 

    When you say next and back buttons - would this be when only viewing an invoice (not taking any action)? Reason being, is that there are Save and Approve options from the drop down that'd allow you to move onto the next invoice in the list or add a new one - More detail on this here

    I'll slightly adjust the title here to reflect your first idea, but are welcome to start another if the current approve and next options are sufficient and we can get a feel for the interest around that separately.

  5. Currently when editing a batch payment we can only tab across to the next cell, it would be good if we can use the arrow keys to move around and edit instead of using your mouse to get to the cell below, or the previous cell etc.

    We appreciate how this could be more intuitive. To confirm how this currently works - Within the body of a batch payment you can use Tab to navigate forward through cells, pressing Enter will enable you to edit the cell and then pressing Enter again will confirm the cells contents(highlighted).

    When the cell is highlighted you'll be able to use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate up, down and across within the body of your batch payment.

  6. Cash Summary
    The new cash summary report is pulling through the Reporting Name instead of the Name for income and expenses, as a result the Cash Summary doesn't read well e.g. Interest paid we have usually changed the Reporting Name to just the bank name only as in our financial statement formats it appears under the Interest heading so 'Interest" had been roved in the report name, So in the report it just shows as Bank Name but doesn't say that it is interest. The Old Cash Summary report is preferrable.

  7. Please add ability to make type face in the Xero account transactions screen black or more bold. An elderly user has asked me to post this request. The light type face is difficult to see. They are managing all other aspects of Xero so would be great if this option could be added.

  8. Now that directors fees are considered allowances, they don't show up in the employee remuneration report because that is for OTE only.
    I would greatly appreciate being able to include directors on the remuneration report because the board asks for total remuneration on a monthly basis.

  9. I would like to be able to Import a file from a spreadsheet for a bank deposit received. We currently receive 1 bank deposit which will pay 200 invoices over 10 Sales Accounts.

    We currently Import a Spreadsheet file to upload our sales invoices.

    I would like to be able to Import a Spreadsheet file to upload the bank deposit received for 200 plus invoices, this would save a lot of manually typing invoice numbers in when processing the Deposit in XERO.

  10. Have a function that allows Invoice Reminders to be paused over holiday periods (to prevent clients receiving invoice reminders on Christmas Day, Easter etc). Would delay the reminders sending them out after the "holiday" dates had lapsed.

  11. When generating a task based invoice automatically by clicking on 'time and expenses' I really need the ability to automatically have the item self populate or asigned to the task. At the moment as soon as we manually select an 'item' for the task the other fields disappear (description, qty, unit price) rendering the invoice useless and removing any time savings from the feature. Not having this feature really slows down our invoicing process big time!

  12. Purpose: to be able to move payroll from one Xero company to another quickly and without errors.

    When exporting employee details from payroll in order to bulk upload them onto another company's payroll, it is not possible to do a bulk export. You have to instead individually download each employee. This is fine if there are only 10-20 employees, but any bigger and you are opening yourself up to missing employees and making mistakes. Any other exports currently available do not give all the information needed to then import directly into a new payroll.

  13. Xero split - id like to see this removed. It's completely non user friendly and painful. We should be able to process a payment I
    Of choice regardless of receipt or payment. Please Xero work on this area. Other accounting package makes it so East
    Y. Xero is difficult and I cant see why it needs to be

  14. Prompt if Changes have not been SAVED

    What I would like is, after entering data in the Notes (or Items on Invoice, Purchase Orders etc..) If there are changes to the Invoice/Notes (or any update screen) on the screen BUT if the user does not click SAVE then the changes are lost.

    If the invoice/purchase order/notes etc... have had changes and SAVE is not clicked, it would be helpful to have some sort of reminder available that auto prompts you

    'Changes have been made do you want to save these?'

    or something similar so any work entered, but not SAVED…

  17. Currently, Employee summary gives a a lone total only for the period entered. A report showing one line of detail for every payrun paid, would be very beneficial when processing government claims, or providing information to employees for Centrelink instead of the the cumbersome Activity report, or multiple payslips.

  19. With the payroll linking RTI with HMRC (UK), it would be really helpful if the pensions could do the same, not just with Scottish Widows but more providers.

    This would really streamline the whole payroll process and save so much time.

  20. Option to Auto Fill Account, Tax Rate, Sales person for all rows. It gets quite time consuming to manually add for each line (even if it is a button at the top of the fields allowing auto fill of all, that would greatly help)
