  1. Ability: Xero only displaying the unpaid invoice up top under client/contact ----- same as former Xero version - PLEASE change this back it was perfect and it is very much not userfriendly now

  2. Once the bank feed(s) have been refreshed, have a pop up confirming that. In the past, I assumed it was completed after the refresh circulating icon had finished only to discover this was not the case as there was actually an issue with my bank and Xero.

In Projects I would like the option to create a quote, track and invoice my client where the charge is per "session" Currently Tasks are either fixed price (which does not allow me to quote for a quantity of the same item over the course fo the project) or they are hourly based and my client does not wish the time spent to be shown on the quote or invoice.   4. On the notes section to the financial reports in adviser reports templated under the groups, I would like the accounts selected to be in alphabetical order. At the moment the only option is to manually drag and drop - with a large number of accounts this is extremely time consuming. An automated function would assist.

  6. Ability to change the file name when exporting reports

    When exporting reports, it defaults to Company name_Report Name.pdf. We have a format of naming files in our business which does not match the default format. It would be simpler to be able to change the default file exporting system so that it more closely fits our standards, saving time. This could be added into the company settings. Options include: Report should say: Text [placeholder] Text [placeholder], and "include or exclude underscore".
    Options for placeholders include date printed, company name, report name, etc.

  7. Can you please give the option to inactivate past employees/leavers from payroll summary when doing reports. Every employee we have ever had is coming up on the report each time.

    Also how do I set up overtime payments to stay on employee profile instead of using the drop down menu every week.

It would be useful to be able to remove employees who are no longer working for the company from the Xero Expenses app. It's annoying having their names pop up under the "Nothing to review" section as it's easy to continue to file expenses under their name even though they no longer work for the company.

  9. We need to be able to create a report that lists inventory item sales and includes the customer name AND other customer contact information such as email address or phone number.

    There have been occasions where I've needed to contact a large group of customers that have purchased a product from me due to a misprint in a book or an update to a title. At present, the only way I can do this is to export my inventory report and add the contacts manually. Xero Support Specialist - Daniel has confirmed this.

  10. Right now you have to add a group to see clients together, but I'm hoping that one day we can simply change the category name of "Customers" to "Clients" to customize Xero for legal, insurance, marketing and many allied health practitioners who see clients.

  11. Although this is not a new product idea, it is rather a option removal idea. Recently a option has appeared on the Business tab for Cheques to be printed on bank provided stationary. We do not use Cheques in South Africa anymore and is clearly a function isolated to maybe the US whose banking system is still in the paper age. However new customers are always asking what is this function and then it takes our accountants some time to explain they cannot use it.

  12. Please add an opening balance for the Working Holiday Maker tax rate

    When a Working Holiday Maker (WHM) reaches the earning threshold of $45000 they must be taxed 32.5% (instead of 15% prior to $45K per financial year). When an employee is set up in Xero as a WHM this tax calculation is automatic as along as the full $45K was earned with the current employer. If the employee has earned $45K prior to starting with a new employer Xero will calculate the WHM tax as 15% instead of 32.5% and there is no option to set an opening balance.…

  14. I would really like the ability to print blank cheques. Right now, when you preview the cheque there is not an option for it to be blank. If it was blank, I could have some cheques ready for those times we need one quick, and then I could enter it in Xero after. I am really hoping your team can add this feature, I can't be the only person that would benefit from this. I look forward to hearing from you.

  17. It would be great if we could adjust the justification of text in financial statements. Yes, each to his own is accepted but some like the left indent and some like the evenly justified (which just looks neater). Here's to hoping it can happen.

  18. Currently Xero Expenses creates a single expense claim for each individual item.
    Normal practice for an expense claim is it contains multiple lines (different expenses), such as parking, a restaurant bill and a hotel.

    I would like to have the ability to group individual expense lines into one expense claim.

    I would then have a single bill to pay (an expense claim with multiple lines) appear in my Bills to pay, rather than one for each line.

With the bills workflow, we often have the issue that when a purchase is made by credit card or direct debit and the receipt is then sent to hubdoc or Xeros solution it sits in awaiting payment - when really it is awaiting reconciliation. or needs something to identify it as a recurring payment or paid by credit card. When marked as paid in Hubdoc that doesn't synch with Xero and there is no way for book keeper to know how it has been paid and thus we have bills being paid twice and you have to know which are…
