  1. Customers receive an email with "Pay Now" option to pay online with Stripe.
    Customers will, instead of clicking Pay Now, just call up with CC and ask to pay invoice.
    Having the Pay Now button in the invoice screen would make this so much easier to process.

    Just let me pay an invoice using credit card from within the invoice screen

  2. At a quick count there at least three different date selectors used in Xero. This makes it clunky for users and some date selectors are functionally outdated. Examples, the date selector used in Invoices (best) vs the one used in Reports (worst) vs the one used in Leave.

    Use the same date selector(s) across the entire product. One that allows for:
    - Keyboard entry of date(s), multiple formats eg 23/08/23 as well as 23 Aug 2023 (Invoices does this)
    - Shortcuts like 'This financial year' etc - where applicable
    - Quick year jumps (unlike the date selector in Reports -…

  3. Ability to have a ‘Print now’ option in Invoices, so the invoices can be printed in one click.

  4. There is a difference between the functionality of new quote page and the old one.

    On the old quote page, when a new contact was entered and the quote was saved, you could then click directly on the contact field which was linked to the contact page. This allowed you to quickly add additional info (email address, phone number, etc). This made emailing the quote quick and easy.

    On the new form, after you save the quote the contact name remains in edit mode.... so you cannot click on it to get to the contact page. There is no link…

  5. Suggest Bank rules. When Xero suggests a Contact & Account during the reconciliation we should also have an option to make that a rule so they can use it in cash coding as well. If that is not possible then have the suggested transactions auto fil on cash coding or have a check box like in the reconcile screen to show suggestions

  6. On the Bills page, the New Bill button has been moved top right. More distance to travel = more time wasted. Need to look harder to find it too because it isn't where it was and the New invoice button still is. No - the new colour doesn't help that much as I am colour blind. Could you please move the New bill button back to top left of the screen like the New invoice button ?

  7. Can you introduce a "void " button please on the invoice listing page. We have dozens of invoices that have not been paid as customer cancelled order but we cannot void them in bulk. We would like to use the checkbox next to the listing of invoices and select "void" to do them all at the same time rather than one by one which we do not have time to do.

  10. It's unfathomable to me that it is not possible to do something as simple as output sales by state or by province or by country or by city. These are discreet fields in Xero and we ought to be able to filter a sales or P&L report to just include sales for some regions or to summarize by state or country. Right now all I can do is export all transactions and run everything through excel, which is not the way this should work. Thanks.

    Hi team, while not a fully fledged report you may find Smart Lists within a contact useful at present. 

    From Contacts you can set up and get a list of customers that meet certain rules that you've set up - such as 'Location' is and setting this to one or more locations your customers are based. 

  11. Being able to filter on the Short-Term Cash flow would be very helpful. For example, if I create an invoice but haven't sent it yet, it's included in the projected income, but if I can tell the report to only show invoices that have been "Sent" it would only include invoices that have actually been sent to the client.

  12. Xero needs to include the field indicators on their printed cheques like all the other Canadian compliant software companies.

    Right now Xero directs Canadians to have their printer include the field indicators on the preprinted stock, but this makes alignment very difficult and most printers won’t. Even the companies that they suggest to provide the stock do not include it.

  13. Why can't you open a document , press share and the doucment filed into Hubdoc in the same way you can with Xero Files where want to push into Hubdoc initially?

    Also you can seem to add PDF file types (that are not photos taken previously and stored in your phone gallery) with or without downloading the PDF document onto your device first - why is that?

    Is Hubdoc a proper document storage facility?

  15. The ability to preview notes added against a bill/invoice from the summary screens, rather than having to open each record to view them. For example a notes icon next to the existing document one, which would display the note when clicked.

  18. Xero should automatically recognise a Xero client account number in any bank transfer and allocate those funds to existing invoices in that client's account. This should either just occur automatically when a client payment matches the total on their statement, or alternatively, any payment should simply be allocated to the client's oldest invoices.

    Currently, when customers pay us for invoices that we have sent them, we search for their name in the “Match” function during the bank feed reconciliation. We then select the invoice(s) that match each payment and reconcile these.

  20. Currently, when super payments bounce, Xero sends us an email letting us know that a payment to a particular super fund from a particular payment batch has failed. Once we've identified whose it was, and got the updated details, we then have to contact Xero to get a re-processing authorised.

    All of this takes time, during which the Directors of my clients may become liable for late super payments. I'd like a button to click to speed up at least the contacting Xero for re-processing bit - preferably as part of the process identify the refund received and connect the…
