  3. We have deposit and cash accounts with no bank feed, I would like to be able to reconcile a whole month's transactions in one go rather than each individual line (mark as reconciled).
    I know the balance at the end of the month is correct so I would like to be able to tick all transactions and 'mark as reconciled' in one hit.

    Hi team, this is already possible. However in order to bulk mark as reconciled you'll need to enable this option.

    When in a bank account in Xero, click the '?' icon at the top of the screen where you should see the option to turn on 'Enable Mark as Reconciled'. Its based on your user login so while this will turn it on for yourself, another user in the organisation will need to follow these actions to for themself.

  4. It would be a really useful to be able to attach files to a bank account within Xero, much as you can to a contact or transaction.

    The use cases for this could be:
    When a disorganised client send bank statements in as attachments for irregular payments it would be very handy to be able to store those attached to the account in Xero; as close to where I would want to use them as possible.

    There are supporting documents that relate to an account as a whole - such as an accruals or prepayment schedule that would be great…

  5. Xero has some feeds for First Citizens but apparently not for FCB Commercial Advantage customers. It's worth noting that Commercial Advantage is for FCB's bigger customers albeit We're a $5MM revenue entity so we're not really that big. And Commercial Advantage is accessible nationwide (USA). Furthermore, FCB is not a regional bank anymore. I mean, they bought Silicon Valley Bank after the collapse so I think it's safe to say they've got some size to them.   7. Hi, on the mobile app, it would be really helpful, if when reconciling bank entries, when xero comes uip with its "suggestion", that is also displays the VAT line. Saves having to go into the suggeestion edit and check VAT is applied correclty

  9. It is concerning that Bank Accounts can be added or deleted by users with "Standard User Access or even "Advisor" in some cases.

    Considering the whole Xero Accounting system revolves around Bank Feeds, the ability to add a bank account, activate Bank Feeds or even delete a bank account should only be a function available to the Software Subscriber.

  10. Bank feeds are critical to a business's accounting system.
    Detail on those feeds is also critical.
    BOQ Specialist (AU) (and I'm sure other banks) provide deficient bank feeds to Xero.
    See the difference between the (unmodified) imported statement lines and the bank feed statement lines on the image.
    The bank feed statement lines only say "Online transfer" which is about as helpful as saying "transaction".
    The imported statement lines say Online transfer and then the bank narration, which is much more helpful.

    The solution provided for the removal of filtering by Employee Group in the Payroll Employee Summary report now includes all employee groups ever in existence, including the multiple spellings which have since been fixed, groups deleted after never being used, and archived groups which have not been used in years and will never be used again.

  12. Despite several separate requests on this forum, New Invoicing's email still begins with an invoice summary, unlike Classic Invoicing.

    For us, relationship and communication are more important than asking for payment so Classic Invoicing's email is perfectly set up with our message first and the invoice following.

    New Invoicing's email reverses this with the money part writ large at the top.

    Andrew Chadwick described it better than I can in the post linked below. The idea has been marked as Delivered but, respectfully, it hasn't been. His and my points still stand.

  13. It would be really helpful to be able to group bank accounts in a similar way to grouping Contacts. We have multiple currency accounts and base currency accounts as well as credit cards and to be able to group them in different ways would make checking them much easier. Eg group into GBP Current Accounts, Currency Accounts, Cash Currency Accounts, All Cards etc

  14. In Accounting and Bank accounts, i would love to be able to drop and drag bank accounts to put them in order, Currently you have to click each account to move it to where you need it. This is fine if you only have 10 or under bank accounts but if you get to over 100 plus it's a very slow process

  15. It would be really helpful if there was a report that showed the actual amount of hours worked per month per individual and as a total. Our company has busy seasons, as well as quiet seasons and having a report like this would help us in planning our staffing situation.

  16. Xero has a gap in handling Fx gains/losses.
    It is great at both Realised and Unrealised on bills and invoices but it drops the ball on Cash at Bank. It treats it all as Unrealised, which is where the flaw is.

    You can have an empty currency bank account which has a residual functional currency balance and has movements on the TB every month due to revaluation. This is clearly nonsense.
    I have also been told to ignore the exposure column on the Fx report as it is meaningless.

As a NFP receiving multiple donations from multiple donors, we require summary of donations/purchases made by the donor/client as a single receipt including each donation/payment's invoice number, date paid, individual amount paid, total amount paid. The summary will need to include the NFP's logo, ABN, etc.

  18. It would be really helpful if you can add more filters in the Project Summary reports, e.g.. a date range for "Closed Date" so we can report on Projects completed in a specific month. At the moment the date range is based on time entries only.

  19. Please add a VAT Reconciliation Report for South African Xero Orgs.
    There is currently no report that allows users to determine which transactions in the VAT Control Account have been posted to which VAT periods and which returns they fall under. Late claims are not indicated anywhere except in the transaction detail within each VAT201, so the Control Account needs to be reconciled externally in excel.
    This is particularly an issue when a conversion from another accounting software has taken place and there are opening balances to reconcile. Or if conversion took place mid VAT period.
