  1. Quote Titles should show up in the reporting so that clients can see which projects they are looking at. This is much different than a reference which is typically a job or project number that the client needs reference to.

  4. Hi People, I run a report where I can match my XPM clients to the ATO report. However, since the single client record merger, my reports in XPM have been detecting the Blue Xero files. In other words, the report cannot exclude the Xero Blue files in HQ.

    This is a nuisance because, as practitioners, we need to ensure the currency of our client reports. Can you please create a field that excludes the unrelated data being pulled into the report?

  6. Currently when paying activity statement obligations, you need to manually create a bill or split the payment to the various tax components. These amounts are already in the Activity Statement, so it would be useful to be able to create the bill from the finalised activity statement. This would help business to reconcile ATO payments, and to manage their cash flow as they can see when tax payments are due from their bills report.

  7. It would be a great addition to be able to allocate employees to a particular employee group and from this run historical employee summary reports by employee.

    At present when setting up tracking categories the tracking in employee reports will only track payruns once the employee groups are setup. Any historical payruns are not included. This makes it difficult to compare periods or look at employee group reports for the year to date.

    There should be an ability to apply the employee grouping tracking to all or some of the historical payruns.

  8. Apparently this functionality is enabled on the AU payroll system, but not NZ!

    Essentially, it would be great if an employee's annual salary figure could be displayed on their payslips. Given that this is already an option within Xero Payroll for Australia, surely this is an easy addition for Xero Payroll for New Zealand.

Would be really useful to have the ability to add Spend or Receive money transactions (overpayments or prepayments) within the mobile app. At p[resent the only options are bank fees or adjustments. So quite often reconciling transactions requiring this type of action need to be left until able to access a full web browser version.

    Hi community, as much as we were amped to share that there was work begun to solve for the idea, unfortunately this has been pushed back for now while the team get through a few other developments that are taking priority. As soon as there's change or news to share around the Account Watchlist we'll update you on this, here. 

  11. The data we see in our feed on Xero that's pulled from our Stripe account includes the two-letter card country code for the customer's payment card for all our subscription payments received or refunded via Stripe.

    However, for the payments we receive from Stripe called 'Application fees' (this is when we take a percentage fee of a Stripe payment) the card country code is not included, even though this data exists on Stripe.

    This means we can easily track the location of revenue for subscriptions, but for the received payments for application fees, we have to look this up manually…

  12. Currently, in the Automatic Sequencing setting, the invoice & credit note share the same number sequence. However, for tracking purpose, we prefer to have a separate number sequence for credit notes. Therefore, would like to request an additional 'Next Number' field for credit note, which can come with an option to share or not to share the number sequence with invoice.

  13. When searching for transactions, be they Invoices or Bills, it would be handy if the Search Box/Panel could be pinned in place. It is time consuming when changing from bills/invoices awaiting payment or paid to then search in a different section, the criteria needs to be re-entered. Double entry takes time that could be best suited doing other things. This would also be handy when searching bank transactions across multiple bank accounts.

  14. It would be useful if we had a code for 100% VAT. We have contractors who we need to back date VAT and so we would need to pay 100% VAT (ie no cost, just VAT charge)

  15. Sometimes the order of transactions is different in Uncoded Statement Lines Report to the transactions you are coding in Cash Coding. This means you cannot quickly enter codes from the Lines Report but have to carefully check line by line that it's the same transaction. This is extremely annoying, time consuming and occasionally results in incorrectly coded transaction lines. This has been a problem for years! It's terrible.

  17. Have the ability to rename the PDF file attachment so when you update your system to send Estimates you can rename the PDF as they always get sent as quote and this is unable to be changed or you can have the PDF file name anything you like just having the option would be nice

    i have the following suggestion. I think it would make sense to allow the production of a Dividend Voucher in Xero also by in-house accountants, rather than only by an accounting firm that is a Xero partner.

  20. Hi all,

    I want to run an accounting transactions report... if I filter the contact, it comes up with the whole list (I have loads archived!). Would it be possible to be able to filter out the archived contacts or at the very least, be able to type in the one I want?
    My predecessor saved all PayPal transactions by their individual addresses so have had to archive them all to make my actual contacts list manageable!
