  2. When looking at a customer's account in Contacts, there should be a spot in the invoices due that shows clearly if there is an unallocated overpayment, prepayment or Credit at a glance.

    There also needs to be a better report just for unallocated Prepayments, Credits and Overpayments.

    I find the Receivable Invoice Summary isn't wait I'm looking for as it doesn't fulfil the job required.

  3. Ability to add emojis to email templates.

    Currently, you are able to add the emojis when emailing individual invoices, but it is not possible to add the emojis to the email template.

    If you try to add an emoji to an email template, Xero will delete it after saving it.

    Appreciate the difference in what you're asking here, Christopher. 

    No plans to allowing inserting emoji's directly into the email template atm, but we'll track this here and let you know if there's any plans made.

  4. It would be really useful if Bills autosaved to Drafts - as happens when you enter an Invoice. Because Invoices are autosaved, you are in that mindset and can often forget that you have to click Save or Approve for a Bill to be logged.

New Cash Summary report vs Old: In the new report when you customise the new report to adopt the "Working Capital with other cash movements" format & report Gross, i.e. with VAT figures, the "Other Cash Movements" in the new version are STILL reported Ex VAT. IN the equivalent Old version, they were termed as "Non operating Movements" and would correctly apper as Gross, i.e. VAT included figures. In the new report instead, VAT on these items is reported as a consolidated item seperately below as "VAT movements". There needs to be a feature to report the above as Gross…

  6. When selecting Remove and Redo for Spend transactions, all attachments are lost.
    If the attachments are receipts that were photographed using the Xero app, they are not kept on the Xero app either.
    This means that selecting Remove and Redo is the same as throwing the original receipt in the shredder, not just in the bin to potentially be retrieved later.
    A pop-up warning asking if you'd like to save the attachments to the File Library before removing and redoing would avoid the loss of the transaction's supporting documentation.

  7. I have invoices that have a fixed due date, e.g 4th of the month, and would like invoices to be generated, and dated, a fixed number of days (e.g. 7) before this.

    WHen it's not near the end of the month then setting the invoice date and the due date to be 7 days after is fine. The issue arises when the invoice dates cross a month boundary as the varying number of days in the month makes this awkward. I either need to accept a movement in the due date or set the due date to be fixed and…

  8. It would be very useful if we could upload any supporting documentation for invoices or bills as attachments in Hubdoc. At the moment, I upload the invoice in Hubdoc and then have to add any supporting documentation in Xero directly.

  9. Moving employees from Part-time to causal or visa versa without deleting them!

    The Solve: Just have a date range/calendar within their employee info for what classification of employee they are during that date range.
    Transitioning employees causes undue messiness of information, which is counter to the point of the software. You have 2 employees that are the same person. Which also counts towards how many employees a business has for xero pricing purposes.

  10. Quote Titles should show up in the reporting so that clients can see which projects they are looking at. This is much different than a reference which is typically a job or project number that the client needs reference to.

  11. I would like to see the ability to customise the Fixed Asset Schedule. Currently it defaults to alphabetical order. In order for us to display the Fixed Asset types in a more logical order we need to name the fixed assets 1- Land, 2 - Buildings etc. We cannot add page breaks either which would be appreciated. We should be able to Edit the layout as we can with the other reports.

  16. The Xero API will let you send an invoice by email - https://developer.xero.com/documentation/api/accounting/invoices/#emailing-an-invoice

    There is no equivalent functionality for Quotes, each needs to be send manually. This endpoint should be added in as well.

  17. Inside Xero Me, when you set your Timesheet type to "Start and end times" you can add notes for working days.

    It would be great if we could add notes when we have our Timesheet type set to "Total hours worked".

    As an employee, not being able to add a note & select an earning type is inconvenient and can cause confusion which leads to slower timesheet approvals

  18. Ability to have separate ‘Reply-to’ email addresses within the same Xero organisation.

    Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your input and letting us know your appetite for being able to set the Reply to address for your Xero organisation, here in the idea. As many will have seen with new invoicing, our team have begun testing and making small change to the send experience. While we've been able to make these changes when developing other areas of Xero, we want to be upfront that we don't have a timeframe of when we'll upgrade the email settings page just yet, but this is something we will get to in time - when we do our team will also review the Reply to address options as part of this. So, though there is no movement to share on this just yet please know we will let you know here as soon as there is.

  19. New Employee start date is part way through a pay week. The New pay run does not recognise the start day and calculates an entire weeks pay.
    This requires manual calculation and double check if the pay run has been recalculated. Open to errors and over payment

  20. With audited clients , we normally only give Read only access, but this excludes payroll access. So either we need to access for them, what the require, or we need to change access level to standard , which is not idea. Can you not have a read only role, with the option to include Payroll?
