  1. I have successfully managed to create a custom report.

    I now want to add on rows which give me the opening and closing balance each month to get a 12 month cashflow. Is there a way I can do this from the statement of cash flows (using the cash and cash equivalents at beginning and end of period)

    When I try to add rows to my custom report it doesn't seem to offer to add, but only to group item is this something that could be considered.

    I work for several charities and this report showing money in bank…

  2. in previous general ledger summary report you were bale to sort the general ledger by account code so the profit and loss and balance sheet items were grouped together in the excel report. Please can you implement this feature to the new general ledger detail report

    Hey Matthew, thanks for sharing this idea - this is actually already possible in the General Ledger detail report! 

    From the 'Grouping/Summarising' drop down menu, you can select 'Group by Account Code and Name' to organise the transactions by Account Code.

    I've also included a screenshot of where to find this option 😊

    i have the following suggestion. I think it would make sense to allow the production of a Dividend Voucher in Xero also by in-house accountants, rather than only by an accounting firm that is a Xero partner.

  4. My EOM reports include PL, BS, Receivables AND payroll. Management report doesn't allow payroll reports to be added. Please allow this to be added to minimise time generating additional reports.

  5. Remove all account codes check box upon financial statement publishing

    We need this check box added when we publish our EOFY financial statements - a similar box already exists to remove all decimal places yet we have to manually go to the trading statement, income statement, balance sheet and equity accounts and manually turn off account codes on each page.

    A simple box to remove all account codes when publishing just like the decimal place box would be fantastic

  6. Could you move the navigation buttons in the Financial Statements format (or any format with multiple pages) to the sticky bar at the bottom so you don't have to scroll to the top of the page to move between pages. some format pages are extremely long and it is a waste of precious time

    Hi team, appreciate the interest and raising of the idea here, however we want to be open that this isn't something we have plans of developing for. 

    Atm, if you're quite far down the page you could use the home button on your keyboard to quickly navigate back to the top. 

  7. Even though the above feature in XERO has great potential for add on value services to clients, example, 90 days cash flow projections, I am very surprised that no one asked, why cant we produce a report in PDF or Excel??? Isn't this an essential part of a report?

  8. Would you please create a General Ledger Detailed Report so that we can have a nice Xero standardized report instead of having to export to excel and print from there.

    We need to send this report to clients, and it isn't very attractive at the moment - printing from excel.

    Hi everyone, 100% appreciate everyone wanting to hear from us in the idea here! We've made big strides with reporting across Xero and have more improvements in store.

    We've put a lot of focus into the Account Transactions report, and with options to include all the detailed columns as the General Ledger Detailed report, as well as have a running balance you can create the report you're after in Xero, or exported to be able to share with clients.

    Once set up, Save your report as custom, and if you think you'll often access it you can Favourite to jump on in, anytime! 😊

  9. By adding a 'Related Files Name' column option in Account Transactions reports people can then see which file is related to which transaction when exporting the report

  11. To be able to add other reports to the standard Management Report packs? I need to report on two different styles of profit and loss monthly. There are other reports I would include if I had the option to select them. Thanks.

  12. Ability to run a report that can be translated to another currency

    Purpose: It’s beneficial to calculate their budget and actual figures for expat sole traders who are living in a different country (which they have to pay their tax in the resident country) but their work and expenses are from another country.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate your support of the idea here. Most recently in the space of reporting we've released the ability to run the Profit & loss, Balance Sheet and Budget Variance reports in another currency the org is using. Our new version of the Realised Gains and Losses report has also just become available, where you can select which currencies to run the report for. 

    And, you'll find that we made updates to the Receivable and Payable Invoice Summary and Detail reports so you can view transactions in their original currency. 

    While we'll mark the idea here as delivered with these latest improvements we're still keen to hear if there are other specific reports you'd like to run in foreign currency and how this would help your business. We have one started for running Aged Receivable and Payable reports in a foreign currency that you can join in, or…

  13. Xero Payroll Journal non-cash option for the Cash Summary

    Currently all transactions from the Payroll Journal will pull through to the Cash Summary Report. The information that pulls through doesn't differentiate what has being paid from a bank account or non-cash.

    Suggestion to add a functionality in Xero Payroll and exclude certain items from the Payroll Journal from automatically showing in the Cash Summary Report.

  14. Can we please have a report that will breakdown annual leave and leave loading. When there is a lot of employees that take leave for a quarter is time consuming to have to drill down into each employee to work out the leave loading to ensure that the SGC amount is reconciled.

  15. VAT - late claims. As i use tracking categories - everything runs back through the late claims part of the VAT report but, this means there a mass of data to check through for the actual late claims that i do want in there. Very time consuming to check through all this. It would be great if you could separate out - say that the things come through from the bills from the tracking categories.

  18. Can the GST Audit report print in order to match return , Ie sales at top, than expense and non GST last. rather than exporting and sorting . Usually less transactions and easier to check first. but have scroll through 100s to find.

    Hi all, just confirming as per my recent update. Within the Transactions tab of the new GST Return, you can now choose to view by box number or tax rate, giving more customisation of how you review associated transactions.

  19. A report is needed that shows invoices with the payment or credit against the invoice. zThis is needed so an analysis report of the customer is available. Please note the attached file.

  20. The ability to set a default date range for the tax report in Xero.

    Would love the option to have default to previous month. It's an annoyance to have to set the beginning and ending time each time the report is run.
