XPM - Prioritise Job List
In the job list screen, it would be great if you could either customise the "priority" so that jobs appear in the order that you need to complete them or if you could simply move them to the order that you would like to complete them in.

Document Packs - Signature format with Name, Signature and Date elements
Improve the look of the client signatures on document packs. Particularly with the financial statements, it includes a date and a name but this already is present on the document.
If we could have different elements for name, signature and date that would make it look clearer.

Xero Tax Asset Register - Written off Assets not Remaining on Register
Hi,
In tax returns for clients that have a business schedule in their ITR, when an asset is fully depreciated, in the following year it disappears from the tax return and depreciation schedule altogether.Is there a way assets can remain on the depreciation schedule? It is very handy to have a full depreciation schedule for all assets, particularly if clients sell assets in the following years.

Xero tax (UK) | Sole Trader Accounts - Ability to generate a report without a balance sheet
When using Xero tax for sole trader self assessments, and importing the Xero sole trader accounts, it would be so useful to generate reports that don't include the balance sheet, i.e. it would be better if one could edit the reports according to an individual requirements/reporting needs.

Although we haven't enabled the option to exclude a balance sheet from sole trader accounts within Xero HQ we wanted to share this very exciting update with you. We recently released a direct import of the P&L from Xero onto the self-employment worksheet within Personal Tax, without the need to map the account codes and generate a set of sole trader accounts.
Previously we only supported an import from Sole Trader Accounts to Personal Tax which for some of our partners involved an extra step, particularly for smaller clients who typically only receive Income & Expenditure accounts. We hope by adding this functionality that you will be able to maximise the more flexible reporting capabilities within Xero to produce accounts for sole traders. Hubdoc - Integrate with inventory & tracked items
There is currently no option for tracking inventory items on Hubdoc, aside from using the tracking categories. It is very laborious having to go into each transaction on Xero, after being published from Hubdoc, and select the Tracking Inventory items which in turn when selected changes the rest of the details on the line including the description originally filled into Hubdoc!
It would save a great amount of time to include this field in the Hubdoc 'Destination' window and for Hubdoc to retrieve the inventory Items from the company's Xero account in the same way as the 'contacts' and 'accounts'…

Xero HQ - Transfer/copy reports between practices & organisations
Ability to transfer customised reports between practices or other businesses. Currently this is not possible so if a client changes accounting practices then reports do not follow. This is expensive for the client for reports to be redone and totally unnecessary given that all the formatting necessary already exists on another system.

Wee understand that rebuilding report templates for each individual client or entity is time-consuming, and the current option of using Report Templates in Xero HQ mapping of the chart of accounts can be tricky to apply to different client files. However, we want to front foot that enabling the ability to transfer reports across practices or organisations isn't planned in the near term.
We'll continue to review and consider this idea in the longer term and if this work is picked up will be more than happy to share an update with you all, here.

Practice Manager | Job Manager - Bulk assign staff via import
Good day,
Would it be possible to allow us to import the staff assignment via the CSV import file rather than assigning staff afterwards. Same for the template, category and job state.
Regarding the bulk staff assignment function, could we add filters and have the columns sort when you click on the column headings of this section please.
These two short comings is creating a huge delay in annual job creation for routine jobs.

VAT - Automatically calculate returns when switching VAT scheme
Hello,
I would like for Xero to automatically calculate the VAT returns accurately when switching from a VAT scheme to another. Currently, we need to manually adjust the returns to avoid any duplications caused by the transition. There is room for a lot of human error when doing this and I believe this feature is extremely important.

XPM - Insert a merge field/placeholder into Task description
It would be helpful to be able to insert a merge field such as 'Tax Year' into the description of a task. Handy when it comes to preparation of the invoice as not all returns are for the current year.

NZ Tax - IR3B Business Schedule with Fixed Asset Schedule
Given Xero has an IR3 Rental Schedule form and Home Office Work Papers why does the business schedule workpaper only have line by line capability and not a business schedule equivalent to IR's IR3B business schedule? Why is this helpful, it means we have the ability to put in front of the client not only the income and expenses relating to their small enterprise (i.e. usually don't warrant an accounting product) and provides traceability for fixed assets and depreciation claimed.

AU Tax - Rental Schedule Apportionment
Currently the apportionment percentage for the rental is calculated for all income and expenses. However, in reality this is not always the situation. Sage has the ability to change the apportionment of each expense individually as well which is very useful, time-saving and error reducing.

We understand having this field would save time hunting around for info when you're preparing tax returns and other client work, and we want you to know this work is being prioritised for development with our product teams.

Xero Tax(AU) - Tab for Returned
Would we be able to have a tab in Xero Tax between 'To Sign' and 'To File' - called 'Returned' - so that any ITR or AS that has been e-signed is moved across into that tab?
