  1. Allowing for exported excel reports to have an option to open hyperlinks. For example, being able to open the ledger of the expenses of a line item from the Profit and Loss statement, or being able to open the Aged Details of a customer by clicking on the link of the Aged Summary excel report, or being able to open the invoice by clicking on the link in the excel of the Aged Details reports.   2. For UK add Audit Exempt Clause to Balance Sheet to allow filing with Co House or ability to add free text - is common requirement for small entities linked to a Group. Main reason why practice accountants can not use Xero more plus a Group accounts format would be great

  3. This is minor but annoying. I am working my way through a list of draft assets and when you register each asset Xero reverts to the registered list rather than returning to the draft list. This gets very tedious when you have a lot of draft assets!

    Conversely when you are disposing of assets it reverts to the disposed assets list when it would be more efficient to revert to the registered assets list so I can dispose of the next asset.

  4. It's great that there is now the option to finalise and create a bill on a BAS...however that is not the default choice for Tax & BAS Agents so it would be nice if the big button was to FINALISE the BAS and the small button with the option to create the bill. Leave it as default in the linked to ATO BAS (lodge and create bill) but for BAS that aren't being lodged in Xero directly it's not helpful.

  5. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  6. There is a difference in functionality between D5 and D8 in the AU individual tax return form. When deductions are entered in D5, the default deductible percentage is 100%, and whatever percentage is entered here (eg 40% phone) is rolled over when the tax return rolls over to the next year.

    In D8, the default deductible percentage is 0% (inconsistent with D5, easy to miss when quickly completing a tax return, requires you to manually type '100%' every line item - why would you enter a 0% deduction?) and the manually entered percentage does not roll over to the next…

  7. It would be great if they system would not allow disbursements/ costs to be added to closed jobs.
    This can cause a lot of admin work when Xero fees are bulk imported to our clients accounts job but is then closed once the accounts have been completed. We have too ensure the job number is updated on the import each time we close a job as the system will allow bulk uploads. It would be great if an error code showed and did not allow this to occur.

  8. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  9. There are client level fields for phone and fax numbers. We have not had a fax machine in the office for a number of years. and it would be more useful to have these fields nominated as landline and mobile numbers. Consideration would have to be given to how this meshes into FYIDocs and FuseSign as FuseSign has issues if the phone number field does not meet its defined parameters.

  11. When working with multiple clients and applications, users are being logged out too quickly. Please consider adding a feature to allow console owners to adjust this time out at the console level for the entire organization.

  12. jobs -- can u make all row more compact - can u make columns more compact or allow user to narrow or widen column size - can u also allow job number column select Yes/No at column selection option - can u allow job report to export to excel/pdf - there are many external application having much better jobs management features - can u take some info from there ???

  13. Keep the Xero Classic Look everyone preferred.

    The design of the Job Manager page is sadly reminiscent of an excel spreadsheet.

    One of the enjoyments of the Xero software compared to its competitors are the fresh, clean pages that make it inviting to use. The Job Manager board is missing the 'attractiveness' that has been part of Xero's signature branding.

    Specifically black text, flat checkboxes, grey cell borders and grey column headers makes it feel like an outdated 1990s program.

  14. A contrast function for Hubdoc. Often mobile phone scanned receipts do not have enough contrast and apart from the crop function which is being discussed a contrast function would improve usability.

  16. In cash coding you can choose to set a bank rule. I think it would be nice to be able to choose an existing bank rule to add to. I.e. we have a meals expense rule that has a few restaurants selected. It would be nice to add additional restaurants to the existing meals expense rule instead of creating a new one.

  19. We require additional report codes, particularly for financials, in the Adviser reports. More codes are needed to group and map Fixed Assets, and it's necessary to further breakdown Plant and Equipment into categories such as Furniture & Fittings and Office Equipment. We spend excessive time modifying report layouts to achieve this, and automation would be more efficient. Additional user-defined fields that are compatible with our practice would also be advantageous.

  20. Can you please add the GST filing frequency as a field to filter on when creating or building reports relating to GST.

    This is currently not an option to enter when adding a new client, would be great if you could though.
