  1. Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

    Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

  2. GST Rec - 2 Simple ideas.

    1. In the GST Rec report you could add drop down dates (as you have in the other reports) so you can easily pick the prior financial year as an option rather than having to pick the dates.

    2. A GST report that showed the late claims that relate to the prior financial year.

  3. Payment List

    Is there a possibility to add tick boxes to the supplier age analysis? The tick boxes would allow you to produce a payment list of only the ticked suppliers.
    The payment list can then be printed in pdf and sent to the payment department.

    Hi Bianca, would this be the Aged Payables Summary or Detail reports that you're looking at? Within this report you'll be able to add a Filter for Contact where you can select only the contacts you'd like to see amounts for.

  4. If a client switches to another accountant the transfer of the Xero subscription is straightforward. However the transfer of the HubDoc subscription is inordinately complicated. Can this be integrated so we are given the option to transfer the HubDoc subscription at the same time?

    Related to this I have had multiple instances of clients ending up with two HubDoc subscriptions when we create one and they create one. Or a staff member creates one and then no one else in the practice has access. Is it feasible for only the Xero subscriber to be able to create a HubDoc subscription…

  5. After the lock dates is set, xero should prompt advisors to alert them when they try to edit anything before the lock dates, and let the advisors to confirm that they really want to edit the transaction before the lock dates.

  7. The dividends are not sorted alphabetically in the return, although they are sorted in the prefill. Can we have the ability to sort fields included in the individual tax return worksheets, such as Item 11 Dividends, Item D5 Other work Expenses, and other similar fields.
    This will make it easier to check and compare, and it looks much more professional.

  8. It would be a great help if you could insert a field into the activity page which includes the property address that the invoice is for, so that this would be clear which property the invoice relates to rather than having to go into each invoice to see which property it is for.

  9. It would be good if you could copy and paste from a document in HUBDOC. Like you can from any pdf format document.

    eg If I enter an invoice in HUBDOC it would be good if I could go back to it and copy and paste the bank details into Xero like you can from any pdf document.

  10. why can't Xero resolve this. I assume it will be worked on to provide full functionality afterall it is common for companies to buy electric cars.

  11. Productivity Reports

    I am using report builder to create a productivity report for my staff. What i would like to show on the report is:

    Capcity reducing time + billable time + non-billable time = total time for week

    I would then like a productivity percentage calculated as billable time / (billable + non-billable).

    I would also like this report to have a YTD actual column and YTD budget column so that on one report I can see how productivity as been for the most recent week but also YTD on the on the report.

  14. CUSTOMER AND SUPPLIER Journals needs to be added to the system????? And a proper detailed CUSTOMER AND SUPPLIER DETAILED LEDGER - Without the allocation of payments AND credit note splits with THE ACTUAL DETAIL on the bank and jnls so that one can see what is going on.   15. Please clear the default workpapers that are selected for every workpaper pack regardless of whether there is any data for these items. e.g. operating leases commitments, Home office, GST, BAS, Income Tax, Franking Credits, Borrowings costs.

  16. Some bank feeds have transaction details where the bank uses a debit card reference or DF reference in the PAYEE, the reference will contain the actual PAYEE name, for example the PAYEE field will have 1234-XXXX-XXXX-1234 or 123456789DF and the reference will show the actual PAYEE. Can Xero replace the PAYEE name with the actual PAYEE if it sees the above numbers. Too many clients are not replacing the numbered PAYEE and trying to recognise the PAYEE is proving time consuming as clients are not recording the PAYEE with the correct details

  18. When going through tax payment letters it can be useful to make a note i.e spoken with client re tax or checked IRD. However, once the tax payment is approved it cannot be edited or deleted and also will not remain in the notes box but rather provisional tax history.

  20. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.
