  2. When working with multiple clients and applications, users are being logged out too quickly. Please consider adding a feature to allow console owners to adjust this time out at the console level for the entire organization.

  3. jobs -- can u make all row more compact - can u make columns more compact or allow user to narrow or widen column size - can u also allow job number column select Yes/No at column selection option - can u allow job report to export to excel/pdf - there are many external application having much better jobs management features - can u take some info from there ???

  4. Keep the Xero Classic Look everyone preferred.

    The design of the Job Manager page is sadly reminiscent of an excel spreadsheet.

    One of the enjoyments of the Xero software compared to its competitors are the fresh, clean pages that make it inviting to use. The Job Manager board is missing the 'attractiveness' that has been part of Xero's signature branding.

    Specifically black text, flat checkboxes, grey cell borders and grey column headers makes it feel like an outdated 1990s program.

  5. As 'Blue Xero' supports a 'Not for Profit' organisation, it disappointing that an accompanying

  6. Imagine that the worst has happened and the entire board of directors were eaten by sharks on the first day after the year end.

    Currently Xero Tax pulls the list of Directors from Companies House for the year in question, so
    while new directors could be appointed, none of them would be selectable to sign the Director's Report or Balance Sheet in Xero Tax. On the other hand we would be able to select Directors to sign the accounts who in this hypothetical situation were busy being fish food.

    Thanks for raising this, please do look out for the sharks! Atm, Xero Tax pulls the information at the date the filing is created so providing they're directors at that date, they should be included in the company information we receive back.

    This'll include all active directors, whether they're appointed in the year of afterwards.

    However, we're planning to improve this to offer more flexibility around the Directors information, including improving the format of the names themselves. We'll be in touch when we have more detail to share.

  7. A contrast function for Hubdoc. Often mobile phone scanned receipts do not have enough contrast and apart from the crop function which is being discussed a contrast function would improve usability.

  8. The ability to see the history of an item's selling pricing within the Invoicing screen would be extremely helpful. Sales staff would be able to quickly access the selling price history of items within the Invoice screen to ensure that the latest price is used on invoices.

    The ability to see this history within the invoice screen will also remove the need to access a separate report in Xero to view the history of inventory item sales price, which will save a lot of time.

  9. Can you please add the GST filing frequency as a field to filter on when creating or building reports relating to GST.

    This is currently not an option to enter when adding a new client, would be great if you could though.

  10. We are a booking agent and collect revenue less costs from venues , I currently use sales invoice to record sales(settlement) and enter costs as a negative amount that are an expense in my project, Project treats the deductions as a reduction in income not an expense, can this be fixed?

Please can you include the workings (which are long and complicated) for top slicing relief on an insurance bond gain in the "schedule of data" report which I find to be very basic compared to what my previous tax software provider included. Otherwise it is fiddly and time consuming to check this manually.

    It'll be good to get a gauge of the community support through your idea here. We don't have any plans for adding top slicing relief on an insurance bond gain atm, but we'll share if there are any changes for this made.

  15. Per the attached screenshots, it would significantly increase efficiency to be able to use quick keyboard shortcuts when entering timesheets. Specifically the + and SAVE buttons, as almost everything else can be entered using the keyboard alone.

The ability to format workpaper queries - currently when you type in a query you can enter paragraphs and do simple formatting or spacing out of the query to make it more readable, but as soon as you close the query, any spacing out of the query is lost and all the words run into each other making queries difficult to read.

    I was told that when you create a job for client A, you can only create CURNN for client A.

    We are unable to make CURNN for client A's association - such as their spouse, their business (company, trust, partnership, etc) or any client in client A's group.

    To do a CURNN for client A's spouse, i would have to create a job for the spouse then create the CURNN.

    We don't have any immediate changes around this planned, for now you'll want to add a New CURNN to each individual client. We'll continue to keep an eye on the community support for this here,.

  18. Naturally, when emailing in invoices and receipts, we end up with extraneous items in the Docs Pane on the left hand side. To delete these, we currently only have a small 'delete' button in the far top right corner, followed by a confirmation message in the centre of the screen.

    It'd be great if the UI was updated to have either:
    - a delete button closer to the Docs Pane on the left hand side
    - some right click functionality, to allow us to delete documents
    - some keyboard shortcuts to allow us to process these items much quicker

  19. AML Name List screening:

    As it is a known fact that accountants and bookkeepers must screen or conduct name list screening for individual owner that control >25% share of the company. I my former software Nomisma and Capium, accountant can conduct name list screening within the system without the need for additional subscription.
    Once the name list screening is conducted, the result is saved under the individual.
    I believe if this implemented in Xero it will make Xero one-stop-shop without the need for using other software.
