  1. Hubdoc allows you to download all documents in a folder, and Hubdoc also allows you to download to CSV some document metadata. It would be very useful if Hubdoc had the ability to download documents by folder or by Tag, and further, if Hubdoc had the ability to download the Tags associated with a document when downloading the metadata.

  2. I'm a part-time bookkeeper and would find a Calendar or Task List such as Outlook provides very useful for setting up 'Reminders' to carry out certain time critical tasks.

  3. If a staff member leaves, you would usually delete them as a user. That causes issues, however, if they have set up recurring invoices. These will be left as draft and will not be sent. It would be useful if you could keepa staff member but remove the access so that they can't log in themselves anymore, almost making them inactive?
    It is not as simple as resetting their password because of the 2 step authentication.

  4. For the NZ tax returns can you add the Appointers to the Import function a bit like the beneficiaries, this is required to be reported to the IRD each year going forward.

  5. On the New reports - the ability to set a date criteria on each report without it affecting all the other dates. I know you can set up in custom reports but is a pain.... If i wanted to whiz a new report off for a client sat in a meeting, i don't wnat to have to start and edit the layouts. The dates worked brilliantly in the old style management report.   6. It would be great to have the ability setup recurring invoices directly in XPM for annual agreements rather than "pushing" recurring invoices similar to setting up recurring jobs in XPM.

  8. For PSAR, you can import an empdupe file to populate everyone's PSAR information (address, tfn, dob, name, etc.)

    We want a similar function using csv import for company tax return when importing the shareholder details whom received dividends from the company in question. It was painful to manually enter 27 shareholder details and their divdiend payment through your company tax return schedule.

  9. It would be nice to be able to store all emails re a client that a NOT job specific under a Client Tab.
    We are able to do for Jobs which is neat but to enable us to store general emails under the client would be good. I guess they would need a unique email address just like the job storage of emails? We have tab for Jobs, Documents etc so one for emails with an address would be nice.

  10. My Xero - Managing staff access to clients

    I suppose we have a large-ish accountancy - in My Xero I get a full list of all clients I get access to; that's 25 pages of clients at 50 clients per page. I see all clients irrespective of whether the subscriber is internal (within our accountancy) or external (the client).

    We need to add a new admin staff member and give them “Manage users” + “Payroll admin” to all entities. In My Xero, I drill down into the Staff list, click on the new user and it says I have access…

Update New Zealand trust financial reporting templates to comply with the Tax Administration (Financial Statement - Domestic Trusts) Order 2022 as set out in Inland Revenue's Operational Statement OS 22/02, including removing reference to repealed Trustees Act 1956 and replacing with Trusts Act 2019.

  12. Please incorporate myxero into practice manager. at the moment there are MyXero, XeroHQ, XPM and XeroBlue all have different but similar settings, which makes thing very confusing.

  13. The ability to post be posted from Xero to XPM based on the invoice line rather than per invoice.
    We have a monthly fee that goes out to clients from Xero that has two invoice lines, one being the consulting fee and the second being a software subscription fee. We would love the consulting fee line to post to the "Ad Hoc" job and then have the subscription line go to a new job called "software recovery".

  15. Would be nice for a client to have access to all queries from accountancy practice directly in Xero, instead of following links from emails. Quite often the client does not notice those emails or ignore it. It would be more convenient to log in to Xero, go to outstanding queries and complete those.

  17. There used to be a tab where we could check which of our clients hadn't filed their GST returns on time, this has been removed, can you please bring it back as we now have no way of checking if we or our clients have missed filing a return.

Contacts grouping - When exporting clients to a CSV file, being able to see which clients are allocated to which group, I've assigned a group (there's about 8 different groups in total) to 2/3 of my 1500 client list, but now have to sift through 1 by 1 allocate a group to the remaining clients.

  19. When posting the CT charge for the year, Xero Tax defaults to the 500 code in Xero. Not all our clients use this. Is there a way of reverting to the blank accounts codes so we can change this per client? Thanks

  20. Would love to see features to the group profile. Even if they were custom tabs from the business settings (so it applies to all groups). Some ideas are:

    1. Group information - could be a list of the clients and their partner, manager, class, etc (would be great if each firm could select what client details they want to include from their business settings).

    2. Client Fees - could use this section to add services, fees and notes for each client, and then have this total per service, client and group. This way you can update on the go and see the…
