    Hi Sally, it looks like you're based in AU in which case the Leave requests report might be of help to you here. It'll show you the start and end dates, as well as units and dollar amount. It can be run for all, or specific employees for the period.

    I see you've started this idea under Practice Manager so let me know if there's something I might be missing in your idea, here.

  2. Ability to show the breakdown of "Non refundable tax offsets" on individual tax estimates. Mainly Primary Production Averaging details.

  4. Ability to attach a document to a specific query on the accountant end.
    Would save us from having to go to the workpaper in order to open the document that the query references. Instead could open directly from the query tab.

  5. Currently the search only looks for Recipient name.
    Would be good to have an explanatory note to that effect in the Transfers tab.

    Further, and even better would be ability to search the From names as well.

  6. copy the functionality of access Handisoft to be able to hide details of partners and their own entities from staff in XPM. They can see TFN for example. In Handisoft they can'r even see an address much less who in in the partners private group.

  7. Ability to bulk re-allocate invoices to different jobs and or clients.
    It would be great if you could easily re-allocate an invoice (or a cost / timesheet entry) to a different client or job. I have had cases where a clients name/entity type has changed and the recurring invoices have not been posted against the correct client in XPM (old client not new client, even though the invoice is issued under the new name in Xero). Or a client wants to be billed under different entities in a group but there is only one job so i would have to…

  8. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  11. We have a group of entities, all on Hubdoc.
    To save having to communicate with all suppliers which individual email they should use, we would prefer our group invoicing email to bring invoices into a central area on Hubdoc, so the invoices can then be dragged into the relevant entities

  13. Generated GST and PST bills should generate the date of the end of the period reported. January to March reporting should generate a report with the date of March 31, 2024 and not the date of that the bill is generated.

  15. We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
    The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.

    Hi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?

    Is there a possibility to add tick boxes to the supplier age analysis? The tick boxes would allow you to produce a payment list of only the ticked suppliers.
    The payment list can then be printed in pdf and sent to the payment department.

    Hi Bianca, would this be the Aged Payables Summary or Detail reports that you're looking at? Within this report you'll be able to add a Filter for Contact where you can select only the contacts you'd like to see amounts for.

  17. why can't Xero resolve this. I assume it will be worked on to provide full functionality afterall it is common for companies to buy electric cars.

  18. Regarding XPM > BUSINESS > SETTINGS > IMPORT

    can you make the function similar to blue xero bank feed import? Namely,
    - in blue xero, it gives you a preview of what the import file will look like on the bank account before clicking import?

    • one time i mixed up the job name with the client name field. and instead of warning or coming up with the error, it just created new clients upon import. I had to delete so many incorrect clients created from that job import
