  1. Set the Default number of journals to 50 or 100 rather than 25 on the posted tab. Every time you post a journal, it reverts back to 25 showing.

  2. I would like to be able to link a bank login to multiple clients. So if the client has multiple businesses under one login, I should be able to link the bank feed to each Xero file. Currently I can only have one bank connected to one client if they can see multiple businesses on the same login.

  3. I’ve noticed that when re-sending an Activity Statement from Xero Practice Manager (XPM), it doesn’t resend the original email but instead generates a new one. This can cause confusion for our clients.

    Is there a way to adjust the settings or implement a fix or at least give us the option so that the original email is re-sent rather than creating a new one?

  4. Would be great on the Jobs panel when sorting jobs by the "State" field that they were sorted by the order of the different states (1 Planned, 2 Job received, 3 In Progress etc.), rather than alphabetically (1. In progress, 2. Job Received. 3. Ready for review) as it makes no sense having jobs listed all out of order as to their actual progress in the workflow chain.

  5. Name of user in account transaction list - Would it be possible that the username of the person who edited or created a specific transaction be visible when downloading the account transaction? This is to make it easier to track who updated the information.

  6. Add the ability to reference a job via the url e.g. https://app.practicemanager.xero.com/job/jobview.aspx?id=J012480 where J012480 is the Job Code in XPM.

  8. For Xero reports when running comparisons, the data is listed from left to right as newest perido to oldest.

    I have been an accountant for over 20 years, and nearly all other softwares show these reports as oldest to newest from left to right.

    Was wondering if there could be a button to just switch this around.

  9. Why oh Why cant we jus t email the client the document pack. It doesnt require a signature, it just needs to be emailed to the client for reference or to support other information provided at the end of a quarter

  10. Not a new idea however something that we should be aware of.
    The late claims button / tab on the new GST return will not show to look into transactions if the Net amount of the total late claims is Nil. This means that if a change is made from April date to March date in July period, when you look at the late claims in the June July return because the amount is netted as Nil they dont show. making it very hard to reconcile your End of Year GST back on workpapers.

  11. When creating a General pool and want to run the "book value" at the same depreciation (15% year 1 and 30% subsequent years) but Fixed assets wont give the option to duplicate the tax depreciation rates when entering the details for book depreciation.

  12. I would like to be able to create a report of clients whose GST filing is due but there are not enough fields to filter them out. We can select 2 monthly but not select whether they are '2 monthly odd' or '2 monthly even' and we can select 6 monthly but not choose which 2 months of the yer their returns are due. It would be great if we didnt have to enter the same info twice by creating a custom field.

  13. I'd really love to see an option in My Xero where the default sorting can be set to the file most recently opened by me (as opposed to alphabetical, or the file last viewed date). That way all of the current clients I'm working on will be near the top of the list rather than having to scroll down and find them, or search each time!

I find it very easy to accidentally drag and drop folders into another folder in the documents list and then it's gone before you even notice which folder it was or which folder it got dropped into. Please please please add a pop-up query when a folder is dropped into another folder - "do you really want to do this?"

  17. It would be incredibly helpful for us to be able to view the notes on a profile when you view it at group level.

    Currently we don’t use this feature because when a note applies to a whole group (which it often does), how do you know what entity or individual within the group to record the note against.

    Creating the view to see all notes for a group it won’t matter so much where the employee decided to leave that note.
