Client Verification via BGLiD links through to XPM
It would be great if when a client completes their BGLiD verification, that that data can go back to XPM and complete the Client Verification section. Would save a lot of time & reduce the potential for entries being missed.
5 votesHi Alyce! Did you know it's already possible to do this in XPM?
There is an integration between BLG CAS 60 and XPM and you can find more information about that integration here.
To ask questions about using XPM and the CAS 60 integration in community you can post or join Discussions on Xero Central. Thanks😊

See the partner name on the Xero Practice Manager (XPM) client screen alongside the client name, phone number and address.
We would just like to be able to see the Partner name on the Xero Practice Manager (XPM) client screen alongside the client name, phone number and address instead of having to go into each client to get this information. Especially useful for new admin staff who need to allocate various correspondence between multiple Partners.
2 votesHey Linda, you can actually see the Partner and Manager names above the clients details in the original version of XPM, and with the new Partner Hub these will be seen next to the client details as you have described. If you have not familiar with the new Partner Hub you can find more information about it here😊

Bank Rules - Use the bank statement line description to set up
When creating bank rules, it would be great to have the ability to Set the transaction description using bank statement description.
2 votesI am happy to report you can already do this in Xero Mebea! Just click Options on the top right corner of the bank statement line then select create bank rule. Xero will then use the description from the bank statement line to set up the bank rule. We have a bit if help around this in Xero Central, but if you need an extra hand you can raise a case with our Xero Support specialists. 😊

Edit sales tax amounts manually
I would like to be able to edit the sales tax amounts. Sometimes there is no tax on some items and tax on others so the simplified tax calculation creates an inaccurate tax amount.
2 votesThanks for sharing your thoughts on manually editing sales tax amounts.
Good news! You actually have a lot of control over how sales tax is handled. You can choose different tax rates for each item on an invoice or bill, and even set the whole transaction to be Tax Inclusive or Tax Exclusive. If something's tax-free, you can just pick a 0% rate like 'Tax Free' or 'Zero Rated' so it's still included in your reports.
We have a bunch of helpful info on this in Xero Central. Check out the articles below for a deeper dive. If you're still stuck, you can always reach out to our support team for a hand.

Profit and Loss Report - Compare Periods OLDEST to NEWEST
Automate Profit and Loss Report to have the option to run either left to right or right to left when comparing periods.
Currently when running the Profit and Loss report and using the compare periods function, by default the periods run newest to oldest (Or Right to Left). Would be great if there was a tick box option to run them in the opposite direction, i.e. oldest to newest or left to right.
Thanks
1 voteHey Shaun, Im happy to say this is already possible within Xero. While not specifically within the front page of the Profit and Loss report, you can click 'Edit' and then 'move' the columns (years, months) to the order you want them in!
You can read through the steps here. If you'd like to try this out before taking action in your own org, you can use the demo company to test it. 🙂

Reports - Add Spend /Receive Money report
If I had a spend / receive money report I could just review it against my AR and AP reports.
3 votesHi team, returning to the idea here I wanted to highlight a few reports that could provide the view you're after.
Depending on your needs a Contact cash activity report could be useful. Alternatively, you could run the General Ledger Detail report and add a Filter for Source to only select Spend and Receive money and see these transactions for all contacts posted in the period.
- Don't see your idea?
