Homepage - Button to reset to homepage default view
Provide an option to reset the homepage to default.
Having messed around with it, I want to go back!
3 votesThanks for the feedback here, team. We don't have any plans for enabling the ability to return to a default / initial state of the homepage, for now we'll keep a watchful eye on the support in this idea, here.
However we have a somewhat related idea that our product teams do intend on exploring further around providing template or view options to help users with basic layouts that you may be interested in joining too.

When I am doing an invoice sometimes i need to be able to insert a row, not just add to the bottom,to keep it in a certain order

Homepage - Customise custom home page to remove banking information
I do not want banking displayed on home page.
I do not want customers and staff to accidently see banking info.

Draft Bills and Bank accounts
Drafts used to be easy to see from the home page. It is so horrible now. Also, I want the ability to have all my bank accounts on the left hand side, but the widgets need to be balanced across the screen, this is so horrible and now I cannot see any data that was so easily visible. This may be ok for single use file bookkeeping, but when you are heavily involved in 200 files, this new homepage is horrible.

Quick view of BAS liability
The activity statement widget should have the ability to show my default BAS position for the current period (to present date). ie. what is my liability position with the ATO including GST & withholding

To group accounts on the watchlist and show those totals would be very powerful, eg if you have many revenue accounts, a total is helpful
CoA Watchlist: For me to be able to group revenue accounts on the watchlist and show a sub-total would be very powerful. We use a number of revenue accounts for the different services provided, but have an overall target revenue number per month.

Have the option to render the new homepage vertically instead of horizontally
The current homepage appears to render horizontally and not vertically. I would like to stack all of my bank acccounts on the left hand side column, but by the time I try to move my 3rd bank account to the left, the other start randomly moving around.
If I try to carry out the same steps but horizontally, it works fine.Please give the option of being allowed to move things into columns instead of rows - ie vertically instead of horizontally.

Homepage - Remove animations
Provide an option to eliminate animations. The growing bars is a distraction, I find myself waiting for the movement to stop before proceeding. I'm here to work, I want the information - I'm not here for entertainment.

Homepage | Bank account - Make Refresh bank feed button stand out
Make the 'renew bank feed' button/message clearer, it doesn't stand out very well on the new layout.

We’ve moved this idea to Gaining support. This means it’s not currently scheduled on our roadmap, but we agree it could improve key banking workflows, so we’re now watching community votes and comments to help us prioritise it alongside other homepage and bank feeds work.
Please keep adding any extra details about your workflow (for example, how often you’re refreshing and how many bank accounts you manage) and encourage others who’d benefit to add their vote — that will help us understand the impact when we’re reviewing future changes to the homepage bank accounts widget.

It would be really great to be able to have a quick overview on the homepage in the bills section that highlights certain suppliers.
good to see how much money i spend each month in a snapshot on the homepage from my regular suppliers.

Include the number of billable expenses outstanding in the tasks list
It would be great if the number of billable expenses - outstanding (as per the report of the same name) could be included in the tasks widget - ie expenses to be oncharged. Currently I have to run the report to check if there are any oncharges to complete, but it would be great if I could just see the number on the list. We use this feature for almost all of the organisations we look after (20+) and it would save time and ensure we are oncharging more promptly.

Homepage - Not neurodiverse friendly
It would be great to have the option to display the widgets in list form, like the old display.
As a neurodiverse person, I work in lists. With the old version every time i logged in, i would work my way down the list of accounts, ensuring i would finish before moving onto the next. This is particularly important as we have over 10 accounts.
Currently the page feels cluttered and has no flow. I can speak for the neurodiverse community, that it is a struggle to go into the homepage and not feel overstimulated. if you search a customer or supplier for a specific item it brings up a list of the same items- sage has this as a search in transactions

Homepage - Organize and order of bank accounts to mirror in the bank accounts page
Order of Bank Accounts used to be based on the way they were organized from the Bank Accounts page, and then each user could rearrange their Homepage widgets. Now this sorting doesn't seem to impact the way the Homepage is sorted.
AND, if new accounts are added, not only does the old Bank Accounts page order have anything to do with the new Homepage, but new accounts are not automatically added to the dashboard. You have to:
1) Edit Homepage
2) Add Widget
3) Toggle the New Bank Accounts on to Show on the Homepage
4) Save
5) Scroll down…5 votesThanks for the feedback here team, understand how reflecting the order of the bank accounts from the bank accounts page would be useful for some users.
We'll continue to track interest in this here and let you know if there are any updates to the behaviour of ordering planned, however it's not in the pipeline at present.
In terms of showing new bank accounts - the first bank account you add is shown by default. As you add new bank accounts there is a banner that'll show to let you know new accounts are available and you can use the Edit homepage option to choose which widgets you'd like to have shown on your homepage.

Option to receive reminders about bills due or overdue, to mobile number or email address.
Can chose if you want to receive on the day its due or # of days prior

Homepage - Reduce font size
Make the font smaller so I can see more on one page, instead of having to scroll down for days. It looks like a children's book! People should get glasses if they can't read the smaller font Xero used to have - back in the good old days!!

profitability for tracking code
The profitability of a tracking code is very important. (Thats the point of a tracking code) Overall pnl no so much because there are a number of year end items that mean the upto date picture is not so useful.
