Please make Draft Invoices in a much larger font and at the top of the widget. The widget is ridiculously large and Draft Invoice link is in microscopic font, lost at the bottom. You have to actively hunt for it. Please don't tell me I can rearrange my home page. I've done that. It makes no difference. This is another unhelpful change forced upon us.

Dismiss the setup-guie permanently
Please add the ability to mark each step of the setup-guide as completed so that it goes away.
It is infuriating the way it comes back every time you go to the home page.
Lets be clear THERE IS NOTHING MORE I CAN GET ROM THIS GUIDE, so make it go away.

Fix widget updating
Please fix the account widgets displaying unreconciled transactions , the new homepage isn't updating in real-time unlike the old homepage.

Home page not auto updating
I have added a comment to this point raise already but to me it is so important that I am writing again as a separate comment so it is clear. I find it utterly bizarre that the Home page does not auto update - Surely one of the main purposes of a Home page/Summary page is to show an accurate and current position. I have 13 bank accounts of one sort of another (if you include credit card accounts that I have set up as bank accounts) and so now I have to press the "Refresh" button 13 times because…

Home page 'reconciles to do' now don't auto refresh?
I have noticed now that the current status of bank accounts (name change, transactions to reconcile - being the major one) is not automatically updated upon page refresh. If a colleague has done reconciliations - they all still appear as outstanding on my home page.... So it looks like there is still work to do here - I was very confused, and then realised I had the press the circle with arrows button to make this data correct from a sync. This would get frustrating very quickly as we have many bank accounts and 3 of us able to reconcile…

Homepage - Automatically update the Widgets
Automatically update the Widgets on the New Homepage instead of refreshing each one individually. This will significantly save time and ensure up to date accuracy

To provide some clarity around the updating of widgets in the new homepage - Because some organisations manage very large amounts of data, we’ve updated how widgets load to support the speed and reliability of the experience.
To help the homepage load efficiently, some widgets in these organisations show data from the last 24 hours by default. These widgets are designed to automatically update with the latest figures from the last 24 hours when you log in. If you need to see the most up-to-date numbers in-between the 24-hourly automatic updates, simply click the refresh icon in the top right corner of the widget.
To confirm, this is only applied to organisations with higher data volumes to ensure Xero stays fast and performant for everyone. Thanks

Derive the Home page accounting basis from the business setup setting cash or Accrual.
Please derive the Home page Profit and Loss accounting basis from the business setup setting i.e. cash or Accrual.
This issue has been raised before and closed by a naive XERO person with no understanding of how a USER thikns or expects to use the system.
The request by the user is not "existing functionality" as stated by the incorrect Xero staff. Being instructed to leave the homepage, go the the Dashboard (some of us dont need to use those), changing a setting in a Dashboard widget and then come back to the Homepage is not a helpful instruction.

accounts watchlist -
Accounts watchlist - please make it that we can edit the accounts that is the most important to watch - not only in numerical order. There are a few accounts that I need to see at a glance (to be at the top) and they are in the middle of nowhere. So scrolling down makes it longer to deal with.

Customer List with
List of Customers - Incoming and Overdue Invoices
It would be great to have a widget that displays a list of customers that have a currently pending payment. It would also be even better to have a widget that displays a list of customers with currently overdue invoices, showing the amount of overdue invoices for each client and and total amount overdue for each client. I am thinking an abbreviated view of the Contacts>Customers list.

Homepage - Make font darker
The new homepage is an accessibility nightmare. None of the fonts are dark enough on the excessively white background. I only have slight vision issues and I'm really struggling to read it with the light fonts and the clutter. I would hate to have a vision impairment worse than mine because this new homepage is basically unreadable and inaccessible.
I've recommended to Xero on multiple occasions to please hire an accessibility manager who can help them avoid these things, including during times when they've specifically put out requests to have their new pages tested before release, but they continue to…

VAT Widget - incorrect error between accounting periods
When you're between (or at the start of) VAT accounting periods and the following are both true:
- The previous period MTD submission has been submitted to HMRC
- There are no transactions on the current period
The VAT widget on the homepage displays a generic system error. This I feel is incorrect and confusing. This error suggests the widget could not retrieve the relevant VAT information. In actual fact, there is information there - it's just empty. (For the technically minded it's the difference between an empty set versus no set being there.)
It would be better for the different scenarios…

Better UX
Firstly, for the price point, it would be valuable to have stronger tools for margin analysis on COGS. The underlying data is already in the system, but there’s limited ability to run flexible reports to properly evaluate performance based on how we’ve coded transactions.
Secondly, an inventory function would add significant value. Each order entered effectively represents an inventory movement, yet there’s no simple way to load, adjust, or manage stock levels within the system. This would be particularly helpful for small businesses.

have an optional widget where you can set up your own quick ratio calculation, so you can see if you are trading insolvent or not, at a glance. The idea would be to tick off the accounts in the chart of accounts that are relevant e.g. bank accs, inventory, debtors, payables... but make the choices entirely the choice of the user
