Xero Partner Hub - Retain Visibility of Blank Tax/IRD Number Field in Client view
If the IRD number is not populated then this field disappears from the information screen when viewing a client's details. Can the field please remain on the screen even if left empty.

XPH | Homepage - Team performance & management metrics
It would be AMAZING if we could have some useful management reports, like monthly Team Performance by staff member with KPI data (write offs $, write off %, ROI, Average charge rate, total invoiced, closing WIP) and Practice Performance over the same metrics :)
Also some dashboard widgets that show these metrics personal to the user on their home page.

Client list - Ability to identify Trustee Companies
Can we have an option in the client screen to easily identify trustee companies
4 votesHi there, thanks for the suggestion. We understand the need to quickly distinguish between other client type and a trustee.
Right now, this is often managed with naming conventions or custom fields, which aren’t always easy to see at a glance.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and show our product team how a dedicated “Trustee” indicator could improve the Client List experience.

XPH | Homepage - Widget for favourite Clients and direct link to Xero File for quick acess.
So when on home Practice Hub Per User- A Widget you can link your favourite Clients in a Widget for easy quick access to their Xero Files.

XPH - Add two-week calendar widget for Jobs and Milestones
In the middle of the old XPM home page we had a clear visual of a two week calendar showing assigned jobs and upcoming milestones.
This was very useful and was good quick visual reminder to action any of days jobs or milestones as well as any forth coming jobs and milestones.
Although there is an assigned jobs summary on the homepage of the new XPM there is no milestone reminder visual and as a practice which uses job milestones heavily it is very much missed.
Can it be reinstated please, Im sure there is room on the new home…
6 votesThanks for feeding back to us here. We understand for practices that do use schedules that this view can be quite useful. To be transparent this widget had relatively low usage in Xero Practice Manager and we don't have plans for developing a specific widget for this in Xero Partner Hub.
That said, you can still get to this view from within Jobs under Job schedule, and it's possible to add a custom link to the homepage in the Quick Actions widget to make navigating here more efficient🙂

Xero Partner Hub - Milestones
Where do I find the dashboard milestones - it was my due tody, and overdue milestones. I can't find them in the new dashboard.
8 votesHi team, thanks for your input to this idea. Being upfront here, while this widget was evaluated as part of new Xero Partner Hub, with low usage we did make the decision that this wouldn't be a widget that we'd develop within the new experience.
We appreciate there are some users that do find this useful you can get to this from Job Manager in the Important dates tab. To get here more efficiently you may also like to add a custom link to the homepage in the Quick Actions widget.

XPH | Jobs - Enter Time should default to last end time in your timesheet
Enter Time - you have to put in start time. It should default to your last time entry like it does under view timesheets.

Time capturing
Time capturing. Not sure how it is possible to make the time capturing worse??? Every week i would need to recapture the same codes i used? In the last week. Who designed that widget did you just throw away all the previous functionality

XPH - Automatically link and sync Individual Clients with the Contact list
All individual Clients created should automatically be added as a contact and that contact should by linked to the client record. If you change the client detail that "new" contact that is linked should be auto updated. (in short an individual customer/contact is not "duplicated"). If you send mails from a job you can then use that client automaticly as a contact and do not have to create a contact
7 votesHey Louis, thanks for bringing this up! Having client info in both the Partner Hub and your practice contacts gives you flexibility, but it would be even smoother if updates could flow automatically between them.
Right now, exporting your client list from the Hub and importing it into your practice contacts is a simple way to refresh records in bulk. It’s a handy way to keep everything up to date.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so the product team can see how helpful a more connected, unified experience would be for Partners.

XPH - Move Search feature back to the far right
The search feature 'Magnifying glass' on the top tool bar used used to be the far right option. Any way it can be moved back over?
2 votesHi Logan, thanks for raising this. We understand the preference to have the Search feature position on the far right of the header. For teams who use it frequently throughout the day, even small layout changes can affect established workflows.
As a tip in the meantime, you can press / on your keyboard to jump straight to the global search field without needing to navigate to it with your mouse.
I've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest from the community. If there are other navigation changes that have impacted your workflow, we'd love to hear more.

Tax Manager - Add Signed Status
Add a signed Status to the Left Hand Navigation so that signed returns can be quickly selected and lodged

XPH - Reduce the size of the Timer screen
When you click to start the timer in Xero Partner Hub, the pop-up box fills 1/3 of the screen. It blocks access to items on the right hand side of the page underneath (for example the 'go to xero' from the insights page or the 'next page' arrow in the clients list). The only way to fix it is to scroll back up to the top of the page, minimise the timer, and scroll back down.
I would prefer to have the timer box open when I'm working, but while it fills so much of the screen it isn't practical…1 voteHi Antonia, thanks for highlighting this. We can see how a more compact timer could make it easier to track time without taking up screen space while you work.

XPH - Add ability to easily move and copy/duplicate timesheet entries
Allow you to move timesheets between days for if they're entered in the wrong day (it was easier to edit the day of an entry on the old system), and copy timesheets (for when working on repetative jobs rather than having to search the job every time)
2 votesHi Alex, appreciate the suggestion. We’re hearing that working with similar timesheet entries across multiple days can take a bit of extra effort, especially when you’re moving between jobs or need to correct something quickly.
At the moment, the process can involve re-entering details or recreating entries when changes are needed, and we understand how having a quicker way to handle this could help streamline day-to-day time tracking.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and make it easier for our product teams to see how many people would benefit from improvements here. We’ll keep you updated as this progresses.

XPH | Homepage - Create tasks and recurring tasks to show on your homepage
A function to create tasks and recurring tasks to show on your dashboard, much like Google Tasks. A basic To-Do list that shows recurring tasks that you need to complete every month for each client. This links in with XPM as a CRM system.

XPH - Edit date range on Time Summary Widget
It would be good to be able to edit the date range on the Homepage Time Summary widget so it reflects the same as our pay week.

Having the option to choose the date range shown in the Time Summary widget could make it easier to review time over the periods that matter most to your team, without needing to switch to other areas of Xero Partner Hub.

Tax Manager - include BAS management
The ability to create or show BAS statements in the tax manager would be good - you used to be able to create them from the tax tab but now I have to go into the client themselves and click create. Or just some way to make this easier overall - whether you have a BAS section in the Tax Manager, or a create statement button up the top.
5 votesHi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion! We understand that including Business Activity Statements (BAS) in Tax Manager would make it much easier to track all your clients’ obligations in one place.
At the moment, activity statements are managed separately in Xero Tax, so you’ll need to navigate to that section to track and update them. We can see how bringing everything into a single view would make your workflow more efficient.

Tax Manager - Include prior year returns in Ready To Start
Prior year returns from ATO list that are not lodged need to be in the ready to start list.

XPH Homepage | NZ Tax - IRD's Live Filing Statistics as a Widget
With the XPM link to MyIR START, is it possible to have IRD's live filing statistics for the agency as a widget.

We’re just circling back to share a quick update as it’s been a little while. We’ve checked in with our product teams, and this isn’t data that IRD currently provides access to. Because of that, it’s not something we’re able to support right now.
If this changes in the future, it may be something we can revisit, but we want to set the right expectation here for now. Thanks.
