Hyperlinks open in new tab
Hyperlinks constantly (but not consistently) open in a new tab. This is not a necessary feature as you can already manually open hyperlinks in new tabs. Being forced to constantly open new tabs clutters existing tabs, is inconvenient and time wasting when you have to juggle tasks.

Customisable homepage graph/table colours
Customisable graph/table colours would be excellent, even if it were just 2 or 3 preset options. The blue/red default is a bit harsh.

Tax Manager - Sort by Group
The Tax Manager would be improved if it could be sorted by Group, or at least allow us to add the Group column. This would enable a quick reference for one client with multiple entities.

Discard button in Timesheet is not placed correctly
When you save a timesheet entry as draft, then next option of discard or save is very close together so if you don't move your cursor to the right to click on save you may inadvertently discard the timesheet entry. I think the discard option needs to be moved somewhere else.

I would like to suggest a feature that allow users to change the source of spending/income easily
I would like to suggest a feature that allow users to change the source of spending/income easily. E.g. if I capture a cash spending now, and later realise that it is paid out from bank, I could easily change the transaction to spend from bank.

Urgent jobs on the home page
Urgent jobs must be shown on the home page, as they were before with double red exclamation marks!! The current homepage is useless for me.

Partner Hub - Ability to customise and re-order the Quick Actions menu
Quick actions are great but I would like to be able to re-order these to have the most used at the top etc

Where are the tax return settings hiding? Important that we have easy access to these
Some suggestions for improving the 'old' settings in the new partner hub:
* A simpler Income Tax Client Report request would be great for quickly updating due dates
I.e Settings > Tax Agents > Select Agent > Update ATO Income Tax Client Report
* Can we have a feature that flags TFN's that are no longer on our ATO Income Tax Client Report - so that we can easily identify and archive old clients

timer icon
The timer icon looks almost just like a circle, the hour hand is tiny, it's barely distinguishable from the magnifying glass next to it, so it's hard to know what it means. How about using a picture of a stopwatch or copy the icon used by the iphone.

Recent Organisations - ability to view recent orgs and search has gone in XPM
The beta has "Recent Organisations" in the dropdown under the practice name, but nothing is coming up and there is no ability to search.
Please can we have this reinstated - I don't want to have to go to the clients screen or Xero HQ to get to a client's Xero file every time I open up XPM

Xero Partner Hub - Access to Job from Timer
I use the timer, it would be great to be able to access the job from the timer menu rather than opening job manager.

XPH - Automatically remove identical addresses on client profiles
When the client contact details have been imported in this change (specifically businesses or entities), it has brought in every client address, now on some client profiles, it shows 4 of the same street address and 4 of the same postal address. Could this return to show only one of each to reduce the repetition and confusion.
1 voteHi Briony, appreciate your sharing here! We can see how removing the duplicate address would make client profiles feel simpler and more streamlined. When you’re managing a large number of clients, every bit of clarity on the screen helps you focus on what matters most.
Having the same address listed twice can make profiles feel cluttered and, occasionally, create confusion if one gets updated and the other doesn’t. A cleaner view that only shows unique information would make it easier to scan and manage client details.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so our product teams can see how valuable a more streamlined client profile would be.

XPH – Add Client Activity Toolbar
Please reinstate the summary toolbar or menu at the top of client pages. It previously acted as an effective dashboard for client activity and allowed us to see what was happening at a glance.
In XPH, key items (for example, active tax returns) no longer clearly show status or progress, which forces users to click through multiple screens just to understand what is going on.
Overall, XPH feels clunky and significantly more admin intensive. It feels like a system that previously worked has been pulled apart by developers with little regard for how accounting practices actually operate or for the…
1 voteHi Rochelle, thanks for bringing this up. When you’re working across a large client list, having a clearer signal of what’s changing can make a big difference. A Client Activity Toolbar could give practices a quicker sense of where things are moving and where a nudge might be needed.
Rather than jumping in and out of individual part of XPH, this kind of view could help you prioritise what to focus on.

XPH - Add a "Staff Member" filter to the All Tasks view
When going to all tasks, it would be great to filter by staff member
1 voteHi Sue, thanks for bringing this idea to our attention! A staff member filter sounds like it could be a real time-saver for managing Tasks in XPH. Being able to see everything assigned to one team member instantly would make it much easier to balance tasks and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Home Page Job Over view - provide the ability to add Priority Column and the sort should be by due date then priority level - Urgent to low
1 voteHi Josef, I can totally see how a "Priority" column could be a real game-changer for practice management. When you’ve got a long list of client jobs, it helps to see instantly which ones need attention right away and which can wait.
For now, some partners find it helpful to use the Job Status or Due Date columns to sort tasks, or even add a visual cue in the Job Name to highlight urgent work.
