We hear you team! Thank you for continuing to share back with us here, and a big thanks to those that registered interest and provided input to the teams earlier research.

Right now, there's still some discovery going on around this functionality, but I want to assure you this is a feature our team are keen to develop.

While the first round of research helped inform our team they want to dive deeper into some of the aspects surrounding this feature that'll help ensure we create a solution that'll best fit majority of businesses.

We'd like to give provide the opportunity to everyone here to participate in this and if you can spare a few minutes, our team have prepared a few questions in this form 📝 that we'd love your feedback on.

We want to keep you updated as work progresses on this, and I'll be back to share as soon as there's more news.

Hi everyone, we appreciate how automatically sending statements could improve cash flows, and save the manual efforts involved in this periodic task.

We recognise the importance of this functionality, and with a clear focus on decreasing the time it takes for our customers to receive payments, I’m pleased to share that this idea is now In discovery. 😊

While we can’t give any commitments to development yet, this is a good step in the right direction and we’ll be sure to update you on progress from the exploration here. Thanks!

Thanks for your support on the idea, everyone. We thoroughly appreciate your participation, and letting us know where you’d like to see change across Xero.

Customer statements, is an area of Xero that needs upgrades to it’s technology in order to make ideas like this one here possible.

Currently, while we have plans for modernising this space soon we cannot commit to any new developments for Statements until this work has been complete. Once this has been done I’ll round back to the idea here when we can reset the objectives.

I read another post and someone suggested using: https://www.statey.app/

I am starting a free trial as we'd like to be sending monthly statements automatically too :)

This is really for Xero Blue not practice manager, but you do not have a category for this,

Automated client statements - have the option to send out our practice statements on a regular basis i.e. weekly or fortnightly regardless of the days due or overdue!

This would save a lot of time, unsure why XERO don't have this function, people have been talking about it for years.
Clients paying bills on-time is as important as having a quality accounts package
if set for 14 days it should email at 15 days and you should have the option to send it at a set time, with auto reminders set at a choice of ever day, 2 days 3 days etc automated time setting is better.

I cannot really believe that Xero does not have this yet, I mean this is a basic feature to be able to send out automatic statements. Doing it manually wastes time and also has the risk to be forgotten which makes some customers angry as they require monthly statements.

Who has time to do a manual statement run each month? With many clients wanting statements sending out this would save a huge amount of time.

Many Customers require their statements by a certain date, sometimes meetings, or leave, come up and I am unable to meet this criteria. It would be really great to "set and forget"

Some customers do not want all their invoices sent separately and want a Statement sent once a month. As I help out with this business for love it is quite hard to keep track of which customers want statements and then to make sure it is sent. Busy with children and full time work is hard enough, being able to choose between invoice reminders and statement reminders would make a massive difference and would free up a lot of time.
