Please please please get this done. As other users have indicated, this is one of the most basic functions of an accounting system. We kindly request that all of these other updates you're making (which don't have a major bearing on productivity) are no longer prioritised over this one! Please!

I am a Syft user and the message below doesn't seem correct as I cannot find that functionality anywhere in the Syft dashboard.

Apparently SYFT Analytics can deliver Supplier / Customer statements emailed each period direct to Contacts.

I live for the day Xero listens to what their users want rather than focusing on updates that actually add very little to productivity. In an age where we are all resource and time poor something as simple as not having to worry about manually sending out statements each month would make a huge difference for a lot of people...on both sides of the transaction! Check your priorities Xero!

In 3 years, you are not able to do a simple thing like this and force uas to pay for add ons. It's actually bordering on ridiculous. As the previous poster said, the mechanics are there. Stop focusing on the pretty stuff and make sure your core functionality works.

Our car now has AI!
(yes, we know its missing a tyre or two, but AI right?)
As a developer, I simply cannot believe how you haven't done this. It would take so little effort. You have the email templating mechanism already on invoices, you have automated sending mechanism already on invoices. Cut, paste, update and ship it.

This is a most basic business requirement. Making the program look pretty helps no one.

This is such a simple request I'm shocked it's still not a thing yet. Automatically issuing monthly statements is such a standard thing amongst so many industries.

xero...."lets just increase our charges and give our customers stuff they don't want whilst also increasing their work load for no reason. Whatever we do let's NOT give them what they ask for!"
I really need month end statements. I do not need 'duplicate bill'.
suggestions. What planet are the xero developers on?

JAX is saving me so much time that I'm now able to hand write statements and post them to customers every month which they really appreciate. I'm so pleased the product team chose implementing a pseudo-AI search feature over this basic functionality that hundreds of customers have requested.

I have pushed the code to a public repo for anyone that would like to use it.
https://github.com/MarcBanyard/XeroMailerWebThe compiled code is available here
https://github.com/MarcBanyard/XeroMailerWeb/releases/download/v1.0.0/XeroMailerWeb.v1.0.0.zipI'm happy to help get Google Workspace or Google Enterprise working with it, I didn't implement it as I didn't have an account to test with and don't use it personally.
If you are able to, please contribute to the code on GitHub.
If anyone would like to *********** test the code, it would be amazing if you could share the results with the community as this will help us all which is why I released the code to the public for free.

@Marc: I was already aware of your web app, but as a small business, I do not have, need, or want a Microsoft 365 business account. I do have a Google Workspace account.

If you look on the thread you have listed you will see I've written a web app that solves this issue along with the emailing invoices issue.
The solution I've written is FREE and sends the invoices out and invoice reminders from your domain using an App Registration in your Microsoft 365 tenant.
If anyone has a Google Enterprise account I would be more than happy to look at integrating that into the app as well so it will work with both.
Please reach out if you would like to use it or test it out.

This seems like such a core service for an accounting package that I can’t believe we are still waiting for Xero to implement it. Meanwhile, according to an email from Xero a few days ago, I’ll soon be paying more than 2x my 2022 subscription fee. Exactly what are we paying so much money for other than avoiding what seems like an eventual yet reluctant return to QB?

Hi Xero,
Before any work on this, please address https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/44960536-xero-mail-send-as-company-name-com-not-message first.
Email sending features in Xero are useless until this is resolved.

We just use Trove (https://trove.works/) for this. Works perfectly and it's like £8
got tired of waiting for Xero to catch up

Interested to know what alternatives folks are exploring. Moving platforms feels like quite a big process which I guess Xero rely on to keep us stuck here.
I'm paying £8 for Statey.app but it's not quite what we need as some customers want fortnightly statements and that's on the £40 plan which would make Xero + Statey pretty much £100 monthly.
