Invoice Payment- Stripe Partial payments

Ability to have partial payments through Stripe.

Purpose: Users can easily set up partial payment in one invoice rather than having to create separate invoices.

    Wow! I can't believe this isn't possible.

    Surely there is a risk involved of errors being made in selecting an amount to pay. But, there should be an option for the Xero account owner to enter in a value that is then pushed to the client to make a payment.

    This is an absolutely critical feature. We need to be able to send a payment link for a partial payment. At the very least we need the ability for the customer to be able to edit the amount, so we can send instructions. Please, please add this feature.

    This is required!!! I am new to Xero and just figured out this is an issue. Is the problem with Xero or Stripe? I need to know which product to replace.

    extremely important to allow partial payments from credit cards.

    This would be very helpful for some of our customers who are paying larger invoices using credit card payments. Often their P Cards have limits and need to spread over 2 or 3 transactions.

    Most customers want to make part payments from Stripe credit card - but this feature is still not available in XERO unfortunately.
    When do you think this become available? very crucial for our business.

    Yes. This needs to be fixed. Partial payments are very common. Not a good solution to have multiple invoices.

    Without this feature, it makes it much more complex for business to invoice people who want to pay via credit card in installments.

    We've just had this request from a client whose customer wants to partially pay an invoice. Obviously, the same would apply to all integrated payment services for customers paying online. Eg Crezco etc.

    This is a "Leave Xero" showstopper for me. If not addressed, I'll move to another accounting system as I'm not currently fully set up here.

    Would be great if we could include payment gateway ie Stripe information on Customer Statements and allow them to select how much they want to pay to the debt.

    For some businesses, it is very common to require a deposit before work is commenced. The current Xero recommendation is to insert a discount percentage on the line item(s) to make the total match the desired customer deposit. Then the invoice can be sent with the Pay Now button for the desired amount. Subsequently, the invoice must be updated to remove the discount. This procedure is awkward and prone to error.
