Invoice template - Control formatting of Amount due and Due date
The new fallback invoice template looks fantastic and is a big improvement overall. However, the due date and invoice date fields appear extremely bold and, oddly, use inconsistent font sizes even though they are side by side. This makes the dates stand out more than intended and looks unprofessional, especially since the rest of the template is so clean and well-designed.
It would be great to have the option to adjust the font size and weight specifically for these date fields, or at least ensure they match the rest of the template’s font settings. This would help maintain a consistent, professional appearance for invoices sent to clients.

Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback here. This has been shared back with our product team who are keeping a close eye on feedback surrounding this new experience.
While there was a lot of testing around the placement and font sizing of each element in the new experience we appreciate there are differences in how and what details businesses would like to show on their invoices.
We don't have immediate plans of change however I'll be sure to let you know here if there are any plans made.

I have had complaints from clients about the large font size of the amount and due date - it would be great if that could either be made smaller or be opened up for formatting.
Otherwise I like the new branding theme. Obviously a few niggles that need to be looked at but overall a nice look

To Kelly Munro of Xero. You say there was a lot of testing but looking at all the comments here and online I don't think you tested it with one Xero user. Get it fixed!

I feel like the change UK the invoice was change for change sake. There was nothing wrong with the old invoice. I have now doesn't 2 days meaning to code a docx template to bring back my old invoice, with very acceptable sized font all over, and then discover is screws up the quote so I had to redo that. 2 days of non income generating work.
Just compress the whole lot at the top as mine currently takes over half of the page, which is ridiculous, and duplicates the amount due in huge shouty font, which is just rude! And we don't need a qr code as everyone looks at invoices online so you can't even click on it. We code is only useful if you're printing an invoice. Get rid of that, I know I have.

Completely agree with the other comments. Very much need options to adjust font weight. The new larger font with no option to reduce makes us look as if we don't know how to properly design an invoice and really need a solution to this. Thank you

I agree with the other user's not having the ability to edit the extra-large sized font and bold - looks unprofessional and feels like you are shouting at your client. Please can we expedite this as an option soon. Thank you

The extra-large size of the Amount Due and Due Date fields is tantamount to shouting at the client. Yes it is important to be paid in full and on time but this presentation is rather vulgar and could harm cherished client relationships. I have tried to follow advice to edit the template but it doesn't work so I'm going to have to put a patch over it.
Also, the statement for "Please make payments to:..." breaks for a new line at an unnatural place and looks untidy. This would be better placed slightly lower down where is doesn't clash with any other content, and can be presented without such short lines. -

I 100% agree with Tanya!, the large font of the invoice and due date looks unprofessional.
We should be able to mend the font to match the rest of the invoice

I dislike the way we are forced to use the new invoicing template - I do not like the enlarged font showing invoice amount and due date right at the top of the invoice. Can we remove those elements? Or just let me go back to using the legacy template please.
