Integration with Fusesign
We use Fusesign as our e-sign solution and it would be great to have the option to send a document directly into the signing software. We've seen a much higher engagement level with Fusesign than any other e-sign product as it doesn't require another login, it uses SMS/email verification instead.
A direct link would smooth out the workflow from the tax product > signing (and maybe even into client files in FYIDocs).
2 votesHi Matthew, it appears that FuseSign is already an integrated app Partner with Xero. As they've designed and built their integration with Xero themselves they'd it'd be best to approach their support to see if this is something they'd consider extending their integration for.

Client Insights is fantastic for showing client by client stats.

AU Tax - Consistent rollover of percentages in individual deductions
There is a difference in functionality between D5 and D8 in the AU individual tax return form. When deductions are entered in D5, the default deductible percentage is 100%, and whatever percentage is entered here (eg 40% phone) is rolled over when the tax return rolls over to the next year.
In D8, the default deductible percentage is 0% (inconsistent with D5, easy to miss when quickly completing a tax return, requires you to manually type '100%' every line item - why would you enter a 0% deduction?) and the manually entered percentage does not roll over to the next…

Can we please have a filter in the Subscription & Billing tab to show active trails. Currently you can only filter by Active or Cancelled.

NZ Tax - Adding Correspondence to Tax Return
It would be great and more efficient if we could add correspondence to the tax returns, rather than have to send separately via myIR.

Inland Revenue do not currently allow correspondence to be sent with a tax return via the Gateway services. This may be feedback that you could share with your IR Account Manager. Thanks

It would be great to be able to print or export the Productivity Dashboard like the other standard reports.

Within insights you should be able to change the date ranges for data so you can see for example revenue for 12 months etc.

NZ Tax - Include Rental schedule when filing return with IRD
IRD are asking us for details of our rental expenses - I would like the Residential and Commercial Rental schedules to accompany the tax return when filing with IRD - I can not imagine anyone wanting to do this manually.

NZ Tax - Comparative Report for prior year
There should be a comparative report available for New Zealand tax returns. This already exists for Australian tax returns. It is an excellent feature that really assists with preparing returns and avoiding missing details from prior years. I would love to see this feature available for New Zealand tax returns. Thank you.

XPM reports - [Client] Group(s) criteria to show as dropdown list
When using the field [Client] Group(s) as a criteria in step 3 of report builder, you can only specify the relevant client group name in the text field. There's currently no functionality for a drop down list of client groups to select from similar to the clients field. Requesting this as an option

XPM - Bill multiple clients in a group from the client group
Provide an option under the client group to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group with one invoice.
At the moment it appears this can only be done under Invoices in the Business menu. Under the client group itself, while an invoice can be created for multiple jobs for one client, you can't create a single invoice to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group.

Settings - Reducing the size of text/fonts on the screen
Could xero consider reducing the size of text/fonts on the screen. I don't need super extra large enormous text to do my work. Everyone walking past or coming to speak with me can read my screen and see bank details and values, employee names and $ amount and so the list goes on. I have already asked if there can be a bland landing page so that bank accounts (Including balances) are NOT the default screen. Anyone standing nearby can see this information when Xero starts. Both of matters limit confidentiality and most users don't need this sort of exaggerated…

Practice Manager - Update capacity settings to allow for 9-day fortnight
Add option for second week under XPM capacity settings to allow for 9-day fortnight. With the current setup only allowing for one week, this impacts the staff KPI reporting rendering it bascially a useless feature.

The functionality to format text with bold, italics, and underlining.
The ability to apply multiple highlight colours to text, as well as different font types and colours.
The retention of multiple paragraphs within the 'Ask' feature is necessary. The current limitation, which merges all paragraphs of a question into a single block of text upon sending queries to clients, may lead to confusion and diminished clarity in communication.

Xero HQ - allow toggle off Manage Users permissions for Admin or create another permission level
In Xero HQ, it would be helpful if the "Manage Users" permission were optional for Admin staff—or if there were an additional permission level between "Admin" and "Standard," similar to QBO's "Standard - All Access" role where you can toggle on and off several higher permissions.

XPM - Bulk Import of Recurring Jobs
The ability to bulk upload/import Recurring Jobs via .csv file, in the same way you can Bulk Import Jobs that are not recurring.
This allows for each row to have the copy/paste capacity for overlapping criteria and can be quickly created through a spreadsheet (which could stem from an Export of your client list to 'schedule' your job creation throughout the year).
One import for an entire client base would be considerably more streamlined and efficient.

The new Xero implementations - becoming very frustrated!
I am finding the inconsistent implementation of the new Xero style mixed in with the old incredibly frustrating. The new style screens are slow to load & enter data, the tabbing and typing a few letters then hitting return either doesn't work (add payment) or is inconsistent between screens, entering a new customer on the fly is frustrating because you can't enter all the information at once & still have to open the full contact edit screen to complete it, also the new contact pop up doesn't autopopulate addresses as you type, the send remittance button disappears if you get…

In particular, as mentioned in your feedback here with new invoicing. To support as much as possible during this time, we're providing lots of information through means of blogs, education and guides on Xero Central.
We're also continuing to iterate and develop new features into new invoicing that we know our customers want.

Permissions - Additional Staff permissions for editing recurring jobs
Due to issues with staff editing recurring jobs but not updating the job name and/or description I would like to see the staff permissions for recurring jobs amended to have a dropdown list so we can limit staff access to editing recurring jobs but leave access to view, create and delete in the same way as with clients.
