  1. In the timesheets window, a button which takes you back to todays timesheet.

    I often have to scroll back, and prepare prior period timesheets, and so it would be handy to have a "today" button, which will automatically return you to the current days timesheet - rather than having to scroll forward (similar to handisoft practice manager).

  3. Ability to bulk Accept Subscription Transfers- when accepting transfers or converting clients in bulk from QBO or QBD the ability to bulk accept the organization under the firm would save significant amount of time.

  4. Merge contacts (not clients) in XPM? I seem to have lots of duplicates but I don't want to just delete the ones with no jobs/invoices attached to them incase they are linked elsewhere. Is there a way to merge them? All the searches I have done only talk abut merging clients.

  7. Once the Statutory accounts are generated more customisation options would be very helpful. The ability to add or group headings in the P&L and balance sheet would be great. Currently there is no option to show pre-tax profits in the P&L or to show more detail within certain grouped headings in the balance sheet.

  8. In the list of client files, an indicator or percentage to show the portion of bank transactions allocated by bank rules to identify client files which can be optimised and more efficient by automation and bank rules.

    If client files can then be sort by the indicator to then extract a list for action.

    In xero files, for each transaction recorded by a rule could there be an indicator (ie "rule applied") to differentiate transactions manually recorded and recorded via a bank rule.

  9. Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

    Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.

    As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.

    Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.

    While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

  10. The ability to create permissions for XPM that are assigned to a user role that is templated and then can easily be bulk assigned to staff within the practice.

As a UK accountancy practice based in in Northern Ireland, it would be great if our Regulatory Body, Chartered Accountants Ireland was available for us to choose as an out of the box Accountants Report. This would then allow us to use this for Company Accounts and then to use the 'default report' option for Sole Traders, who require a different type of Accountants Report.

  12. I’ve noticed that when re-sending an Activity Statement from Xero Practice Manager (XPM), it doesn’t resend the original email but instead generates a new one. This can cause confusion for our clients.

    Is there a way to adjust the settings or implement a fix or at least give us the option so that the original email is re-sent rather than creating a new one?

Would be great on the Jobs panel when sorting jobs by the "State" field that they were sorted by the order of the different states (1 Planned, 2 Job received, 3 In Progress etc.), rather than alphabetically (1. In progress, 2. Job Received. 3. Ready for review) as it makes no sense having jobs listed all out of order as to their actual progress in the workflow chain.

  14. Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

    Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

  15. Import VAT on goods and services received. We require a 100% VAT adjustment, tax rate. Where 100% of the subtotal goes into tax; and 0% goes into the cost. At the moment when allocating 100% VAT it adds the subtotal + 100% VAT = doubling the amount. The alternative is to use multiple lines to off set the subtotal and take 100% of the VAT. Other accounting software has the ability to do a 100% VAT adjustment on one cost line, eliminating the need for the multiple lines and offset.

  16. When requesting a transfer of the subscription, display a list of current users so that one can be "ticked" / selected as the receipient. As generally these are the clients anyway.
    This would ensure correct details, as the user name and email address is already in Xero.

  19. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.

    One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. This not only consumes valuable time but also poses potential security risks.

  20. It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.

    This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.
