  2. I cannot attach a credit note file to a new credit note directly from Xero Files which is frustrating, it would be really helpful to have this as an option.

  3. The recent changes to the contacts screen have done nothing but hinder our business. You have removed the "Payments in past 12 months" which is something we rely on heavily when managing our clients. There is now no way to see all payments by a particular client where there are credit notes applied or they have paid by different means (sometimes by card, sometimes DD and sometimes bank transfer) as we would have to search each account separately and manually pull out the credit note balances. Very laborious and this is information we use daily in our credit control procedures.

    Hi team, in lieu of a direct field for this atm as noted in my last response you could add a Note to the Contact record either as a History and Notes note or within the additional notes field by editing the Contact.

    We're continuing to track this idea here and will share if there are any updates.

  5. Could there be an option to link an address for a contact group to members of that group?

    We have many NHS customers who order under individual staff names but are linked to NHS Trusts. So for instance, John Smith, David Brown, Elle Davis may all work for Clydeside NHS.

    We'd like to have them all grouped under "Clydeside NHS" (can do that) and be able to flag that they all share the same Billing Address which is an attribute of that Contact Group.

    At present we have to maintain each separately and this doesn't help with spotting that they…

  6. A 'Deleted' folder in Files that captures deleted files.

    Once I have uploaded a receipt to the files folder, I always dispose of the original.

    If you accidentally attach it too, and then delete it from the transaction, it is gone forever. You have no ability to reload it from the files folder.

    The original uploaded file is gone, so you have to source another copy of the receipt from the supplier.

    Surely this deleted uploaded file has gone somewhere?

    Can we have it directed to a folder?

  7. The way that you can preset (and save) coding in spend money bank rules in Xero between "Fixed items" and "remainder items", it would be extremely useful to be able to do this with bills that are uploaded to Hubdoc.

    You would then also be able to save the multiline configuration in Hubdoc so that when the bill autosyncs with Xero it has the desired split between fixed and remainder items.

  8. When in the contact section and viewing the activity tab, it would be useful to be able to view PDF invoice from that screen rather than click on an invoice and click the attachment tab (similar to the function in bills to pay).

  9. Allow Hubdoc to publish a receipt to an existing 'BILL' in Xero without creating and new transaction and duplicating the amount. Failure to do this forces the user to upload the receipt directly into Xero files instead or opt not to use the BILL feature in Xero and publish transitions in real time from Hubdoc instead. For those wishing to have all their receipts in a magical shoe box in the cloud (Hubdoc) it appears that this would be a way forward.

  10. We have 1,782 “Archived Contacts” from mergers with other data following adoption of Xero Practice Management. The vast majority of these archived clients have the reference field completed with a 6 digit reference that we would like to re-use for the current clients.

    Unfortunately the reference field needs to be unique and so we cannot apply this reference to the current contact until it is changed or deleted in the archived client.

    Please can we have a bulk delete of the reference field for all 1782 archived clients (or add an extra digit if you cannot simply delete the reference…

  12. I would like to request that HubDoc extract bank account and GST Numbers from uploaded invoices and compare the information to the information stored in the contact in formation in Xero.

    Suppliers provide us with their bank account information on each invoice for payment, I'd like to make sure we know if they change their bank account information.

  13. Allow Negative Discounts to provide a basic Tiered Pricing Solution

    There has been a huge amount of noise over the last 5+ years about Xero not supporting Tiered pricing. This can mean many things, but the most basic requirement is Customer Price Lists.

    It can be as simple as allowing negative discounts in the Contact Record...a negative discount would increase the price instead of discounting it.

    Every Item Currently has a default 'Sale Price'.

  14. I would like to add to the Sort By options, to include Payment Status. When Bills are issued months in advance of the due payment date it's difficult to manually skim through and find them on the Hubdoc Docs list to check them off as paid. As some of our bills are paid via owner funds introduced, it becomes important to have a checklist of what's been processed and what hasn't.

  15. Hubdoc - Allow Hubdoc to read a link in the email.

    When invoices are received via email and the invoice is not attached, but there is a link to open the invoice and save as a PDF. Alot of clients on Xero send their invoices this way. Would be good if either in Xero or Hubdoc you could read the invoice.

  16. Why can't you open a document , press share and the doucment filed into Hubdoc in the same way you can with Xero Files where want to push into Hubdoc initially?

    Also you can seem to add PDF file types (that are not photos taken previously and stored in your phone gallery) with or without downloading the PDF document onto your device first - why is that?

    Is Hubdoc a proper document storage facility?

  18. I believe it would be of great help to extract the Purchase Order code from the invoice into hubdoc.

    It is very important to create a simple path from the begging of creating a purchase order to finally paying for the product or service and having a way to connect it all together, I believe the purchase order number is a vital part of the process and can be referenced throughout the whole process.

    Would be great to hear some feedback on this idea!

  19. Hubdoc App. Can we have the ability to hide archived documents. Or create a separate tab similar to the web version. Another option is to make archived documents dim so clients are aware that the documents are processed and are in Xero.
