Reporting - Ability to consolidate multiple Xero organisations
To have the ability to combine the reporting between more than one Xero org.
Purpose: Better at group budgeting and account managements
Hi everyone, we know that consolidated reporting for multiple Xero organisations is a feature many of you are invested in, and we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback and insights on this idea.
We hear that you need a more streamlined way to manage group budgeting, produce consolidated Profit and Loss reports, and handle intercompany transactions without the need for manual exports and external spreadsheets.
For those looking for solutions right now - As shared by others there are Xero app partners that possibly serve these and wider needs, and you can explore on our Xero App store.
We want to be transparent about the current state of this idea. While we continuously evaluate all ideas, work on developing consolidated reporting is not currently planned.
We know this isn't the news many of you hoped for, especially given how long this idea has been on the platform. We value your input in helping us understand what matters most to our customers, and we’ll continue to review this idea for future consideration.

Xero doesn't have the ability to combine reports from multiple entities from the same Group. Currently we need to have an add on Product. One of the best Xero features is that is can be used for your whole organization, if Xero could add on a feature just for the Adviser role where we could create a custom report across multiple companies. Also if there could be a way to add a column in where you type your own amounts just for the purpose of some exercises where you could combine the books with other items in the form of excel but more formal in the books. Also because Xero doesn't function on a sub item level it would be nice to single out some items and include them in reporting. Management like to see items on different levels with out having to many items on their chart of accounts. Some thoughts for reporting that would be great

This is so important and it's a time saver for users to have one report generated from Xero for linked organisations. It makes sense.
I thought Xero was meant to be at the forefront of the online software game, that's why we have been customers for years. Yet even MYOB has this function! Why waste hours (and paying for the service elsewhere) exporting figures that other software providers offer? -

We are moving off Xero solely because it cannot consolidate and you need to do this in excel. With 20 ledgers you can imagine my excel sheet is a beast !

I agree with this and would add it should also apply to Statements. I have a number of Branches within an entity who each require to be sent the invoice for approval. When they approve it they send it to H/O where it is consolidated. When the EOM statements are run all these entities are combined into one statement which goes to H.O. for payment.
A number of Accounts Packages cater for this as "H/O Accounting".It would be grand if this was available in Xero.

We have 12 businesses under our subscription and it would be such a time saver to be able to run a trial balance for all entities at once. Instead we have to go into each company and export individual reports. This would also help with any required consolidation.

My request is a pre-requisite for making this work, you can't have the group reporting without meaningful intercompany accounting functionality. This means being able to run invoicing and bill processing to separate intercompany income, cost, receivable and payable accounts. This is also a must for meaningful entity financial statements disclosure where intercompany receivables, payables, income and cost are important if material and can impact tax too

Yes please!
Core business is in NZ but has operations in US currency in another country. Requires overall reporting in NZD which has different financial end of year reporting. One ends in 31 March and the other 31 Dec.
Finding ways to consolidate through Xero. -

In my experience, the majority of growing businesses, will at some point set up Holding Companies and or subsidiaries. I was amazed to find that Xero didn't have the facility to consolidate as a matter of course. We need the feature ASAP!

Will be extremely useful for growing business needed to consolidate few xero files and combine it into different tracking categories. If this ability is implemented, accountant could focus more time on reviewing and comments. Better use of time suggesting further move instead of sorting data every month end and do adhoc reporting through spreadsheet.

Consolidating various xero company accounts into one "consolidated parent company" business reporting feature.
We are a start up, but have one parent company with many subsidiaries. Consolidating 7 companies into one cash flow, one balance sheet and one P&L is time consuming and difficult to do. Having this built into Xero would save an enormous amount of time for us. Other accounting softwares have this tool, and it would be great if XERO could look at developing this mechanism

Joiin and fathom both consolidate multiple entities and take feeds straight from Xero. Joiin I think is better as it will also consolidate budgets based on tracking categories.

Unless this feature can be added asap, were going to have to move our 30+ entities to another accounting software provider.
